After many, many years of ill-health and without a diagnosis from a 'conventional' medical practitioner I finally contacted a naturapathic doctor who after undertaking a saliva test for various hormone levels (cortisol and DHEA, and known as the Adrenal Stress Index test), suggested the initial use of Seriphos. After consulting with a nutritionist and having some testing done on myself, it was confirmed that I had adrenal fatigue. My body was very low on DHEA and alarmingly high in cortisol levels. The resulting symptoms were fatigue, evening anxiety and increased midriff fat.
