I've only had it for a couple of days so cannot comment on durability but this has been the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. I bought it because of back problems and the past two mornings have been able to get out of bed without walking around like a hunch-back until all the kinks get worked out. The foundation is very lightweight but works really well with the memory foam mattress I already had. I'm hoping that the motor is a durable one but only time will tell. Amazon had this for the least amount of money than any other site I looked at so it was a great value; and you can't beat the free shipping on this heavy item. Definitely need 2 people to put this together, the motor/frame is heavy but it only took two of us to assemble and it was done in less than a half hour. The assembly DVD is included but since it has a total of 8 bolts hold the whole thing together you can't really screw it up. So far I'm loving it.

Best buy I've made in a long time. The adjustable bed frame is a comfort dream come true. Luckily I was home to help the UPS delivery carry the boxes to my door, this is absolutely a two person task (about 90 lbs each). Getting the boxes into the house was the hardest part. Once inside and unpackaged there were just 8 bolts to intsall. The bed frame was completely assembled and ready for relaxing within 20 minutes. Great price. Thank-you Amazon.

I spent a bit of time researching what would be my best option for an adjustable bed. I decided to go with this model along with a memory foam mattress (from another company) and I am very glad I did.

The price is excellent. The unpacking is easy (it really takes two people) and the assembly is not complicated. Just a tip : assemble where you have plenty of room to turn around without stepping on the bed. It makes the process more difficult if you are stepping on the bed.

The bed comes with a short and clear video to help with the process. Furthermore, it does fit inside of my sleigh bed. I believe that it would fit inside of most frames as well.

So, why only 4 stars while the delivery was lightning fast and the item excellent overall ? I believe that I would be glad to spend another $100 for just a tad better of a quality and, mostly, of quality control. One of the rollers was welded crooked. It did not get bent during transportation. It was welded that way. I fixed it to the best of my ability but the run for the head part is not smooth due to this defect. Clearly, I was not about to return the item for that.

So, manufacturer, should you read this, pay a bit more attention with the quality control. Thank you !

I just purchased this Leggett and Platt ajustable bed for my bad back and neck. I had surgery two years ago on my back and neck and been surffering for years. I have a great mattress that was great for this bed, but laying flat was killing me. The first night sleeping in this bed was heaven. The company however, sends you a book as well as a DVD to help you with the instructions. You receive two boxes one box with the frame and motor and one box with the white platform and there you go, your bed is all together. Last but not least, I ordered this bed on a Monday with the Super saver free shipping. I received this bed on wednesday two days later. Tell me that is not service. Amazon you are the best!
