the biggest problem we had with the mattress pad was getting it on and off. What a struggle it took two grown men. When my mother tried to get it off she ripped it accidentally. It worked very well when it was on the bed. It kept it very dry but you can't get on and off why get it?

I have a dog that is incontinent and sleeps on my bed. While I have plastic lined blankets that he sleeps upon, every once in a while he cannot hold his urine so I wanted a plastic mattress protector so that my mattress wouldn't be ruined. This mattress bag that encloses the entire mattress definitely fits the bill insofar as keeping the mattress protected, but the plastic tore away from the zipper the first time I put my mattress inside. I think perhaps that what is needed is simply a mattress pad that is plastic instead of a mattress bag that zips.

This product is cheap and easy to tear.The zipper didn't work when I got it and I didn't bother sending it back. I have a pillow top mattress and I don't think it works wells with a pillow-top unless you have someone to sit on it and try and pull it together. thin, cheap not so good material. Next time, I will pay for the more expensive one.
