My son has ADHD and used to only get maybe 5 hours of sleep. One teaspoon of this about 30 minutes before his bedtime and he sleeps GREAT and gets a straight 9 hours of sleep. We have tried different liquid Melatonin some of them as much as 4 teaspoons to get his dosage amount. This was the least amount and has the best flavor for him.

I have never ever been a good sleeper. Once I'm asleep I'm usually fine, but I'm one of those people that has to lay there for hours before I can fall asleep.

I've tried sleeping pills and things that are supposed to help give me energy during the day like high doses of vitamin D and SAD lights to no avail. The day time things just didn't do anything for me, and sleeping pills, both over the counter and prescription don't give a good quality of sleep and require taking more and more as time goes on, not to mention some have me waking up with terrible headaches.

I started taking this melatonin and I tell you, I'm never looking back. I feel like a functioning member of society with not only a good quality of sleep, but falling asleep quickly (within 20 minutes at the absolute most). I take it when I'm getting into bed. This way I have just enough time to clear my thoughts and get comfortable. I started taking about 1 ML (The directions say to take between 1 and 4 ML). I'm a small gal at 115-120 LBS so I thought I'd start low. It worked for a few nights but then dwindled off. I thought it was going to be the same situation as the sleeping pills needing more and more. No. I've gone up to around 1.75 ML and that seems to be the perfect amount for me. I haven't had to go up in dosage at all.

Pros:

-good flavor

-No alcohol like many of the other brands

-genuinely works

-doesn't leak, even when chucked in a backpack or luggage

-doesn't need refrigeration

-lends to good quality sleep making me more "awake and ready" for my day, and I can stay up later not being absolutely exhausted by the time I get off work

Cons:

-Absolutely none that I've come across. I can not recommend this product enough.
