I have been using this for a few months now and i truly love it! It appears to be a thick cream but once you rub it in it is very light, not oily and feels great. A little will go a long way...i assume this one container will last me at least 6 months.
Honestly, I love all of the Nourish products but this one is my absolute favorite. It's an intensive moisturizing cream for dehydrated skin. The Sea Buckthorn is a nutritious additive (recommended by Dr. Oz & others) for healing the skin, reducing inflammation (such as with acne rosacea), and reducing fine lines. I like the deep moisturization due to the fact I use Retin A for an acne condition. I also appreciate that this product has a much higher level of organic ingredients than many other product lines. 100% organic is tough since the product would spoil very quickly. This product has a fairly high rating of "good mojo" on the Cosmetics Database site, too. My skin is sensitive to herbs and essential oils but I have not had a problem with the Bergamot oil another reviewer mentioned. It may be a very small amount (?)...I had no sun sensitivity or reactions, and my skin can flare up easily due to the Retin A. If you're sensitive to herbs and essential oils I would proceed with caution, or do a test patch on your skin with the product from a local health food store.FYI: Lavender oil is used as a fragrance & may be a strong scent for some people. Amazon has the best price on this, so I am purchasing it here from now on. It IS a somewhat heavy cream, but doesn't seem to clog pores. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, and only apply to dry areas if you have combination skin. I am a retired esthetician, and quite pleased with how great my skin looks in the morning (I only use it at night!)...it GLOWS. To get an even better effect, use a pure Sea Buckthorn SEED oil (1 or 2 drops) under this moisturizer. Make certain it's the seed (not the fruit) oil which has a bright orange color due to it's beta carotene content. Sibu makes a good seed oil that's not too pricey and won't stain your skin or pillowcase.

Does anyone know who makes this product? The label says the maker is Sensibility Soaps (sensibilitysoaps.com), but from what I've read that company was sold in 2011 and renamed Sensible Organics (nourishusda.com). The sensibilitysoaps.com site no longer exists, but the new Sensible Organics site does not list or mention the product. It seems to be selling like crazy at several sites including Amazon, but its origin is a bit hard to track down. Is it an old product, a new product (but why then does it have the old company name on its label?), or what??????
I hope someone can help enlighten me as I've read a lot of recommendations online, but would like to know where it truly comes from and who the maker is.
Update: I just called the company phone number and found out the product IS made by Sensible Organics and is an older product that they plan to update the packaging on and continue to make. I asked what was used in the denatured alcohol to make it poisonous to ingest. I was told they used "bergamot." That led me to some more research where I found a statement that said bergamot makes your skin sun sensitive and that after use you should avoid exposure to sunlight for 72 hours. That would have been nice to know before putting this on my face. There seems to be a variety of research and opinion out there as to whether bergamot is poisonous or very beneficial.
I'll try it for a few more days and then report back. Right now my skin feels a bit tight and itchy and my lips are very dry since I used this cream. I had high hopes or would not have purchased it, but I can say that it doesn't make my skin feel moisturized like my other lotions and there is a lingering "not so good" feeling of tightness, dryness, and irritation.
