I have a morning ritual that I do 3-4 times a week. First thing when I wake up on an empty stomach I brew a lot of quality green tea, down 1g of Alcar, 300mg of CoQ10 (Or R-ALA if I have it), and a green tea extract capsule. With the addition to Omega 3 fatty acids if I feel like it.Alcar by itself is a very mild stimulant. As in I hardly notice the difference with it standing alone. First of all, there is a scoop (500mg), so you can easily measure out a single dose. It's really no harder to find than the scoops in whey protein bottles or other powders from my experience (2 containers).When I first open the ALCAR container it looked like a fairly dry high quality powder... but I've noticed that over time it becomes hard and "rocks" develop, so it seems like moisture from the air is affecting the product over time. So, I agree, a moisture absorbent would be a good addition, but in the mean time if you put about 10+ grams in a smaller container and take your daily dose from that, you can greatly reduce the number of times the main container is exposed to moisture and this seems to help.

I'm giving this product a FIVE star rating because it's CHEAPER than the other "pill form" ALCAR's out there. The price alone makes this a great deal unbeatable deal so it deserves a FIVE.Now I will say this, I live on the (humid) Gulf Coast and once you open the jar humidity just rushes into it. The first set of pills was no problem to make but after that the humidity and moisture made it "clump" so that it was very difficult to work with.

I have tried many facial moisturizers and this one tops them all! I am currently using Tazorac on my face and it has caused my skin to burn and peel. I apply this cream every night or every other night (depending on how dry my face is) and when I wake up, the peeling is gone and my face is soft and smooth. I have sensitive skin and this does not break me out at all. I know some people may not like the scent but I love it! Its worth purchasing and you actually get alot of product for the size of the jar if used correctly.
But anyway, my specific review for this lotion it is nice and thick and moisturizing, and it sinks on the skin right away, is not greasy at all. I was concerned about all the comments about the scent as i absolutely abHOR heavy perfumes, fruity and flowery lotions (like bath and body works raspberry stuff I just cant stand the fruity smells!! SO hideously strong. i can smell that store halfway down the mall.) But i am glad i tried this lotion it is a very light, clean scent, smells like lemongrass to me, which i do love. It is very fresh and natural smelling, i really wish i could find it in a body lotion version, as i can't see using this small jar for my whole body regularly.
I use it morning and night, it is not too heavy for day. I do think that my face looks brighter and more refreshed. Definitely try this lotion, and don't let the comments about scent frighten you off if you do not like perfumey lotions i would NOT say this is perfumey. It is more botanical, and very light. My husband mentioned he loved the scnet when he gave me a hug the other day ;0) He had to get that close though! :)
I am 40 years old by the way, and have very good skin, but i like to moisturize well to keep it in good shape of course. This caused no breakouts in my case. Good luck :)

I was really excited to try this night cream but noticed the whole two months I used it, my face was constantly breaking out in huge, cyst-like pimples. I use this every night after using the Neutrogena Stress Control Pads for nighttime. My skin tone has evened out, my skin feels firmer, softer, and my complexion just glows. I bought this product because I needed a night-time cream to combat the early signs of aging (not a claim for the product). I have purchased it twice over a 3-4 month period and use it every night.Pros: 1. This product smells really good. I have read some reviews that talk about it having a strong smell but I guess it's just individual preference.
2. It hasn't made me break out. I have sensitive skin and was slightly nervous about using a night cream because of the consistency, but this one does not cause me to break out.
3. Moisturizes well. My skin isn't extremely dry but this product kept it well moisturized.
Cons: 1. Packaging. I wish there were a pump on this product. Tons of night creams come this way but it seems very unsanitary to put my fingers in the product. I wash my hands before applying it so I hope that helps.
2. I didn't see a huge difference in my skin. It was moisturized, yes, but I was expecting to see some brightening effect considering the antioxidant claim and vitamins listed.
I really do like this product but I am kind of disappointed. I gave it 3 stars because I did like it but I'm not completely sold. I am going to venture out and try a new night cream. I have used Olay products in the past and they are very perfume-y and don't do much for the moisture content of my skin. So I would say that this product is the best out of all that I have tried but I have a feeling there is one out there that will better suit my needs. If I can't find the "one" I would purchase this one again because it moisturized my skin and smells good.

My 9 year old granddaughter wanted this cute mask to block out the light from her older brother's room across the hall. She wanted to try a sleeping mask to solve her problem, so she searched the internet. As soon as she found this one, she was sold. She spent her own money for it. She loved the look and feel. I have had many years of trying to fall asleep and stay sleeping with all the usual problems from noise especially from my partner SNORING like a freight train! I have tried every kind of earplug there is that has a high rating on Amazon. No, really. I have tried all of them! I spent $75 bucks buying every one of the top rated earplugs on Amazon and have tried them all out. MACKS PILLOW SOFT SILICONE EARPLUGS ARE THE BEST FOR SLEEPING WITH A SNORER PERIOD!The best ones I found were Flents Ear Stopples SoftWax/Cotten; Howard Leight MAX; Ohropax; Bio Ears with Microban; and "World's Finest Natural Ear Plugs." None of them work as well or fit as well as MACKS. PERIOD. They have various kinds of problems among them such as letting in noise, not staying put, being too hard to conform to your ears, etc.
Yes, I know some people have commented that they can get dirty and feel a little sticky. Well they work better BECAUSE they are a little sticky so they stay in place and don't develop a gap during the night when you move your head and let the noise in. If you keep them in the container they came in instead of sitting them out then they won't pick up dust.
A close second would be the Worlds Finest Earplugs that are made out of essentially the same kind of material silicone. But they are not as pliable as MACKS and not quite as tacky so they start out good but then in the middle of the night they let in some noise around the edges.

I use Mack's earplugs pretty much all the time to deal with issues I have with noise. 12+ hours a day ( and in public places like shopping and libraries) would not be that unusual for me (I can just hear the comments now, heh!) With that much usage, there are a few points to let you have comfortable and long wearing experience.1. The earplugs should be a cone shaped 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide at the top. They need to be wetted in order to insert well. A little water or spit does the job. When firmly seated, they will create a strong seal and noise just STOPS dead. If they slip out, they will not seal well and are pretty much useless to stop noise or water. About 2 days of use before I put them aside to get washed and grab another (used) pair.
2. The earplugs can be WASHED and reused many, many times. The best way to wash is to place in the washing machine with a few lint free cloths, low water setting, and a little detergent and bleach. They come out sticky like they were when new. Even old ones will yellow but work well, especially after they warm up and become softer in your ear. When they become too hard and dried out, throw them away.
3. The size they come in the package are TOO SMALL for me. I take about a 1/5 of one of the plugs and add it to the earplug WHEN I FIRST USE THEM. You can tell if they are too small if they are hard to remove from your ear. If they are too BIG, they will be uncomfortable when lying on them. The extra piece will pretty much stick in but has a tendency to start separating again after a couple dozen wearings. Be careful that you do not let the separate piece fall off in your ear. Never happened to me yet, but...
4. Mack's are GREAT for swimming. Inserted properly, they will keep water pretty much out. Never completely dry but really close.
5. Used with a white noise generator (Dohm-DS), the plugs will pretty much guarantee a goods nights sleep even with snoring, cars, or barking dogs.
6. Mack's work well for loud tool usage and I don't have to worry about bulky mufflers.
7. Works well in airplanes but be careful about altitude changes. Pull them out occasionally to let the pressure change. Nothing like flying without the noise of the engines or passengers.
These things have given me years of peace and quiet and sleep. I have plenty stashed away in case of the apocalypse. If you have any issue with noise, this is the way to handle it. It may take a few weeks of wearing in order to get used to them but its worth the time.

I've tried all types of earplugs for sleeping, and this is the only type that is comfortable enough for use all night. I find them extremely useful for getting a good night's sleep, and very comfortable.They block out noise well enough not sure whether the noise reduction is as much as the strongest foam plugs, but at least it's close.
It's important to apply them as directed they need to stick to your outer ear. Ear wax, dirt, etc. can keep them from sticking properly; that's the main reason you need to discard them after a few uses. Don't insert them into the ear canal.

Register for disposable "pee pads" (dr. office calls them "chux", or "underpads", etc). Amazon sells a bunch at reasonable prices (brand: Dynarex). They use these at the hospital and dr.'s office. You put these little pee pads over changing tables and they absorb any accidents. It will save you a LOT of laundry!!! Yes, you can minimize the occurences of accidents by putting a new diaper under the old diaper and other tricks, but no matter what you do you WILL have pee/poop getting on your changing cover frequently!! Downside is you will have more trash than you would have normally, but trust me --when you are sleep deprived, it is a LOT easier to just throw away a dirty pee pad and lay a fresh one down then to realize that you have to do a load of laundry in the middle of the night holding a crying baby! :)

There are a few things to note about it that are negatives:
1) If you don't use a cover, it will fall apart FAST
2) The plastic cover warps after extended use
3) It's very difficult to find covers for it. We purchased some terry covers, but they kept catching on my wedding ring, so I just ended up making my own out of old towels.
Positives:
1) Baby has never bonked his head on the changing table, when he was an infant it cradled him really well, and as an older baby it was a nice rest for his head and knees.
2) It is so comfortable that many times he fell asleep in it when he was tiny. We'd strap him in and put it in the crib on nights where the only place he'd sleep was the changing pad
3) It holds its shape really well. Even after jablillions of diaper changes, all the sides held up
4) It is harder for him to roll away from diaper changes
Even though we got rid of the first one we got, we'll be getting another one for our next baby.

I was very happy to find this changing pad; I purchased this pad to go on top of the DaVinci Roxanne 4-Drawer Wood Chest. I was very happy to see that the pad came with attached straps that allow you to secure the pad to whatever piece of furniture that you are planning to use it on/with. My only concern is that the screws that came with the pad are much too long...I think I might be using small screws or doing more investigating before I attempt to use the long screws in the back of my new piece of furniture.The pad is nice and large so I feel like I will be able to get a lot of use out of it before my baby is too large to fit in/on the pad. The side walls are very nice they seem like they will help to keep the baby safely in the middle of the changing pad.
The Carters Super Soft Printed Changing Pad Cover's fit perfectly on this changer. I would recommend purchasing the covers from Cookie's the Department store for kids because the covers are only from that site and are $14.99 $15.01 here at Amazon. Shipping is free from Amazon but when I purchased two covers from Cookie's with the price of shipping I still paid less than if I purchased the covers from Amazon.

I like this bath salt because it is very well ground, almost a powder, so it dissolves in the bath immediately. Not like the usual chunky rock salt that many bath salts use. It also has a nice scent. The bottle says that it is enough for 8-16 baths but I have found it to provide five or six baths tops. My jetted bathtub is large, but I imagine that is what most people are purchasing this for. Also, I find this at TJMaxx for $5.99 often.

I bought this a few days ago and so far its working great! I've been counting calories to lose weight and this drink controls my appetite, makes me feel full and that way I don't eat all the time. The instructions for use say you have to drink one bottle before each major meal, but I drink half a bottle 1 hour before lunch and then the other half one hour before dinner and its working great. Some people might need a higher dosage. Its an expensive product but so worth it, at least while you're trying to lose weight.
The packaging says that NEURO TRIM helps with "healthy weight loss, better digestive health, promotes healthy aging, and helps curb appetite." The drink does help with curbing appetite. However, I'm not sure if it has much impact on healthy weight loss. According to the directions, in order for that to happen, a person is supposed to drink a bottle of NEURO TRIM three times a day before each major meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). It might work because by the time you pay for all the NEURO TRIM you're supposed to be drinking, there won't be any money left over to buy any actual food.

I don't think Neurotrim is meant to be a slim-shake as some reviews lead you to believe. It's an energy drink without the skakes, an appetite suppresent if you are eating right and exercising, and it hasn't had any negative side effects for me. Tastes great and gets me through the day. Also, it encourages me to keep a bottle on my desk which I refill at the water cooler so i've been drinking more water.I'm so glad to have found something that doesn't give me the gitters or an upset stomach.
I buy it at Duane Reade in Manhattan. Though the cost at the store was less than online because of a sale, I do agree that it's too expensive for a lifelong customer commitment. But as long as it's $2.50 or less, I'll keep having a bottle a day.

These gloves are very nice. I've used a number of brands of moisturizing gloves, and these are up there with the best. They are a little too small, which is my only complaint, but I believe my hands are a bit larger than average. I'll be interested to see how others rate these as to size. They fit snug on my wrist, which is nice, as I have bought some (at the drugstore) that were so loose they fell off in my sleep. I picked these up to help with a case of dry skin. I've got rather large hands which I often have a difficult time purchasing gloves for. These did not fit the bill. Very, very small. Even though they are cotton with a bit of spandex, they were hard to put on and did in fact affect circulation. I was only able to try them for a few minutes. They are not perfect, but there is currently no other product on the market that fills this niche. "Tranquileyes" consists of rubbery-goggles (in your choice of color) that are lined with foam around the edges and are held on by a black adjustable nylon fabric strap. But here's what makes them unique: each eye cup holds a removable-visco elastic foam pad, that basically functions as a sponge for water to hydrate your eyes. Before you put them on, you add water to the spongy-pads and replace them into the eye-cups. You can use cold or warm water, depending on your needs. I prefer cold. I put them on last thing before I lay down to sleep, but first I apply lubricant drops or ointment to my eyes. It's a bit of a hassle, but it is an important part of my regime for eye-health and comfort. One design flaw is that the black strap adjustment clips do not work. I haven't gotten around to stitching them to fit, as I was instructed, and, as a consequence, they fall off during the night. Sometimes I will re-goop my eyes, re-wet the sponges, and put the googles back on during the night. The hot, scratchy, sand-paper feeling in my eyes has abated since I've been using this product. I have heard that it is useful for reducing/preventing "crow's feet" and migraines, but I just know that they help my dry eyes. (I bought the "deluxe" version because you get extra eye-pads for when the originals wear out.)

I hated the wide "comfort" band, it loosened, it slipped, it flattened my hair, it annoyed me to pieces I replaced it with a .25 inch wide piece of plain black elastic from my Grandmother's sewing kit. Problem solved!
By morning the moisture build up is visible and somewhat unappealing to me. They only issue two of these puppies so its a small price to pay for their comfort and health.

Even knowing that there was nothing wrong with their product just me they worked and saved me money! (They also have a health and beauty products for puffy eyes, etc.)

This product is a great "idea" but I am not pleased with it. The re-heatable gel packs do not hold the heat long enough to be effective. The gel packs are too thin to stay warm for more than 5-10 minutes, max. Bummer! This product was recommended by my eye doctor as part of my treatment for dye eyes. Using CPAP sleep apnea masks that leaked air onto my eyes gave me windburn on one eye, and an infected ulcer on the other. I am so glad to find TranquilEyes goggles! So much more comfortable than taping my eyelids shut. To work for me, I had to cut an extra eyepad in half crosswise and wet it with distilled water, then squeeze out any excess waterput. I put it on top of the pad already in the goggles. Worked great! Kept my eyelids shut and protected my corneas. These goggles don't fit with all CPAP masks however. My mask is a full face mask, and covers mouth, nose, and eyes. So I removed the goggles strap, and just laid the goggles into the mask, and put on the mask. I found this product unhelpful and since you can't return it due to hygiene issues I would not spend this kind of money for what is basically a sleep mask.

Several months ago I bought an extra firm bed thinking it would help my back pain. But, my back problems only got worse. My back would start bothering me from the minute I laid down. When I got up in the morning I was so stiff that I could hardly walk for 30 minutes. I knew that I would have to spend another 1,000 plus for another bed. But, before spending that kind of money I thought I would try a memory foam pad.I placed the 3 inch memory foam under my quilted mattress pad and went to bed for my first nights sleep. When I first lay down I was expecting my back to start hurting, but that did not happen. The next morning there was hardly any stiffness at all. Even my RLS (restless leg syndrome) was a little less bothersome. I have slept on the *new bed* for several nights now and I am really impressed. It did not get rid of all my problems, but it did ease them to where I sleep much better now.
I would recommend trying this memory foam pad if you have any problems that interfere with your sleep. I found the foam made my bed softer and more comfortable, yet also supported my back. The only thing is you have to get use to it. When you lay down you sink into the bed and the rest of the bed is up around you. When you turn over it is a little like rolling uphill. Also, the foam makes the bed slightly warmer. So, if you buy it give it several nights and you will probably find that getting comfortable with the feeling of this pad will take no time at all. And if it helps get a better and more restful night sleep, you will find it is well worth it. Plus, it might save you a whole lot of money for a new bed.
I will say that the way it was wrapped almost required a roadmap for getting it out of the plastic and tape, and it took 4-5 days for the "new foam" smell to go away, but it was cut perfectly to my king size mattress and everyone marvels at how comfortable that bed is now. I already have 3 friends considering buying one for themselves.This product does have an odor for a few days, but that is to be expected when foam has been closed tightly. Anyway, odor went away and I do enjoy sleeping on this pad. I no longer have a lower back pain as I was experiencing prior to using this pad. Would recommend it to anyone.When I took the mattress pad out of its wrapping, it had a pretty strong odor for the first few days. However, the smell goes away. One surprise is that it doesn't quite fit my full mattress. Even though the description says "full/double" it is short in length by a few inches on all sides. It doesn't bother me because I'm not tall enough to feel the edges, but it looks odd. Besides being small and smelly, it is very soft and luxurious to sleep or sit on. I find that I don't toss and turn in my sleep as much, and when I climb into bed, it's very relaxing to settle into the foam.

I have been a thorough believer in the use of Buckwheat honey over cough medicines for a long time with my two young children. I have read study after study about how OTC cough medicines don't work on children. Then even had a local child pass away because his organs stopped being able to process the OTC cough medicine right about the time that the government started issuing statements to stop using them. The problem with Buckwheat Honey is (1) it is not readily available and only the local health food store carried it.
