I have a morning ritual that I do 3-4 times a week. First thing when I wake up on an empty stomach I brew a lot of quality green tea, down 1g of Alcar, 300mg of CoQ10 (Or R-ALA if I have it), and a green tea extract capsule. With the addition to Omega 3 fatty acids if I feel like it.

Alcar by itself is a very mild stimulant. As in I hardly notice the difference with it standing alone. However with the addition to green tea extract and caffeine (Which Alcar synergies amazingly with) my mornings are wonderful. I notice that I have lots of energy, everything just seems more beautiful, I am very talkative, and i have a very strong drive to work hard and achieve. All with no crash feeling. Alcar has a half-life of about 4 hours I believe (not 100% positive) so you really get the effects of it for a long time. I strongly suggest against using alcar at night however. As it's the only time I can notice the stimulant effects of Alcar is when I'm trying to sleep.

I found that this a must-have if you're taking piracetam. My personal "stack" is a daily dose of 1-3g piracetam, and 500mg to 1g of ALCAR. I just use one scoop of each in an ice cold glass of water, and supplement with Alpha GPC to avoid the headaches. Works great! Also if you take this and piracetam before you go to sleep, you will have really intense dreams, so if you're prone to nightmares, don't take it before sleep!

First of all, there is a scoop (500mg), so you can easily measure out a single dose. It's really no harder to find than the scoops in whey protein bottles or other powders from my experience (2 containers).

When I first open the ALCAR container it looked like a fairly dry high quality powder... but I've noticed that over time it becomes hard and "rocks" develop, so it seems like moisture from the air is affecting the product over time. So, I agree, a moisture absorbent would be a good addition, but in the mean time if you put about 10+ grams in a smaller container and take your daily dose from that, you can greatly reduce the number of times the main container is exposed to moisture and this seems to help.

I'm giving this product a FIVE star rating because it's CHEAPER than the other "pill form" ALCAR's out there. The price alone makes this a great deal unbeatable deal so it deserves a FIVE.

Now I will say this, I live on the (humid) Gulf Coast and once you open the jar humidity just rushes into it. The first set of pills was no problem to make but after that the humidity and moisture made it "clump" so that it was very difficult to work with.
