There is also extra information about the company that makes this lotion, Purple Prairie Botanicals.I use this lotion and it is calming, healing, and balancing. It is an organic olive oil lotion with rich aromatherapy oils such as lavender, chamomile, and ylang ylang. I love the scent and the rich creamy lotion works well to keep my skin moisturized. The lotion is somewhat thin and may need a few pumps to get enough for your arms, for example. I only apply this lotion once and it lasts me all day, and the scent lasts awhile too. Because of this, a bottle will last you quite awhile.
I only use Purple Prairie lotions and have discovered that I need lotion less and less everyday. I think it is because it is free of all the chemicals that you find in commercial products. The EWG/Skin Deep(R) does rate this company's products 0-2. And the bottle advertises that the lotion is 99% natural.

I've never been a giant fan of lavender scented things, so I didn't expect to be much impressed by this particular bottle of essential oil from my starter kit from PlantLife. But its soft, pleasingly sweet but cool fragrance instantly changed my opinion of lavender! I don't know how I've managed to live 24 years without experiencing TRUE lavender in this form, but it has definitely been worth the wait.This product helps me SLEEP!
For some of you that might not be a big deal. My husband, for instance, falls asleep almost before he manages to get horizontal (the pinhead)-but I have ALWAYS had an enormous amount of difficulty dropping off. My mind just seems to whirl and agonize and fret and churn until I'm so frustrated and exhausted that sleep is completely impossible.
Now, using a few drops of this oil on a cotton ball or tissue and breathing it in for a few minutes in bed, I can actually fall asleep within half an hour. That is COMPLETELY unheard of for me. I am soooo grateful and excited about this newfound ability to gain restful slumber!

I love lavender oil, and when I used up my first bottle of it, I decided to check out the lavender oils available on Amazon. This Plantlife brand of oil smells great! It is calming, and like some of the other reviewers noted, it works well when added to a cotton ball next to your pillow to give you restful sleep. Below are some of the other uses for lavender that I use:1. Homemade body sugar scrub: I use my favorite homemade sugar scrub recipe and add drops of lavender to the mix. It smells so delicious and feels great in the shower.
2. Body Mist: I add water, drops of lavender and orange oil (or any other essential oil) to an empty squirt bottle. I use it to freshen up a room and when at work and I'm staring at the computer screen, I spray a couple of squirts in the air as a refresher. It feels heavenly. It helps keep me alert (in particular after lunch when feeling groggy), and perks up my mood.
3. Homemade body oil: This is one of my favorite uses of lavender oil. I mix it with sweet almond oil (which is scentless), vitamin E oil, and orange essential oil to create the sweetest floral fruity body oil. I rub it all over my body after a shower, and it feels so therapeutic. It's a great start to a day or the best nightcap before bed.

If you have sleep apnea as I then you have the nightly joy of using the cpap machine. Mine is a godsend and I have been using it for over a year now. I had to make many adjustments. The "GHD" I received was NOT factory sealed. Then the hologram sticker appeared to be peeling off. I'm not willing to spend that much money and have things seems fishy. I don't think this is as good as my spa product, but it's hard to complain when it's so inexpensive. The peppermint is refreshing, and the cream rubs in well. Use nightly for best results.

Does anyone know who makes this product? The label says the maker is Sensibility Soaps (sensibilitysoaps.com), but from what I've read that company was sold in 2011 and renamed Sensible Organics (nourishusda.com). The sensibilitysoaps.com site no longer exists, but the new Sensible Organics site does not list or mention the product. It seems to be selling like crazy at several sites including Amazon, but its origin is a bit hard to track down. Is it an old product, a new product (but why then does it have the old company name on its label?), or what??????I hope someone can help enlighten me as I've read a lot of recommendations online, but would like to know where it truly comes from and who the maker is.
Update: I just called the company phone number and found out the product IS made by Sensible Organics and is an older product that they plan to update the packaging on and continue to make. I asked what was used in the denatured alcohol to make it poisonous to ingest. I was told they used "bergamot." That led me to some more research where I found a statement that said bergamot makes your skin sun sensitive and that after use you should avoid exposure to sunlight for 72 hours. That would have been nice to know before putting this on my face. There seems to be a variety of research and opinion out there as to whether bergamot is poisonous or very beneficial.
I'll try it for a few more days and then report back. Right now my skin feels a bit tight and itchy and my lips are very dry since I used this cream. I had high hopes or would not have purchased it, but I can say that it doesn't make my skin feel moisturized like my other lotions and there is a lingering "not so good" feeling of tightness, dryness, and irritation.

RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering Device
...and if you need some motivation, factor in long-term medication cost into your buying decision.BOTTOM LINE: Buy this ONLY if you are willing to put in both the time and the effort required to see results. That translates into roughly an hour a week for at least a month--for the buy/keep decision--and 45 minutes a week indefinitely. Also, keep the receipt in case you find it isn't right for you, for whatever reason.
Other reviewers have accurately pointed out that using this device is, in effect, meditation. That's true. I've used meditation CDs--including one specifically on meditation through breathing. They were helpful. But in my experience, none of them have been as easy and as foolproof to use as this device.
BACKSTORY:
My blood pressure gradually crept up over the years, and the diagnosis of "labile hypertension" changed to simply "hypertension." Saw this device online, and decided to give it a try. It has made the difference between starting medication and not having to take one. TWO YEARS LATER, I've maintained the gains and then some. As a resulted I still don't require meds for hypertension--a diagosis my MD has dropped.
Yes, this IS pricey. But so was the non-generic medication my cardiologist was considering. I have prescription drug coverage, but copayments quickly add up, especially for non-generic. (NOTE: Many of the newer meds are not yet available as generics.) So, I bought the Resperate, knowing I could try it and return it if I didn't like it and/or it didn't have the desired effect.
But overall, I do like it--a lot. And it has had a beneficial effect on my blood pressure. After less than two weeks using this, at my next MD visit I learned that my systolic blood pressure (top number) had dropped 14 points, the diastolic blood pressure (bottom number) had dropped 3 points. Two years later, I now average 110/70.
When the Resperate arrived, I was a little overwhelmed, so I asked a techie person to walk me through the set up. Turns out it was a LOT easier than I'd anticipated.
The basic premise is that blood pressure can be changed by breathing more slowly and deeply. This little machine actually "analyzes" your breathing pattern in the here and now. It first "senses" where you are using feedback from the sensor on an elastic belt, then gives you immediate feedback (initially through the screen, then through the melody) about how to slow your breathing, breath by breath. The default time for a training session is 15 minutes. The goal, however, is to accumulate 45 minutes of EFFECTIVE breath training per WEEK. (Effective is defined as breathing fewer than 10 times per minute.) The manual states that while your breathing will return to a higher rate, the positive mpact on your sympathetic nervous system carries over.
Scheduling the use of the Resperate into my routine as part of bedtime preparation has worked best for me. Initially I used it every night to help establish its use as a habit. Using the Resperate is relaxing; I also find I sleep more deeply on the nights I use it.
I did try the different "melodies"--there are five to choose from. I like three. (One of them I found irritating, another was so-so.)
NOTE FOR TECHIE TYPES: There is a statistics function that can provide detailed info, but if more than one person uses the device, the stats would be meaningless. Two years later, the manufacturer (Intercure) now offers a slightly more expensive version--called RESP@RATE Duo--which incorporates two separate memory functions for each of two users. However, as another reviewer noted, that won't work for clinics or group settings; there, tracking statistical results would stilll need to be done with paper records, or using an Excel worksheet.
A word of caution for those with pets, small children or grandchildren: Don't leave this out, with its tempting cords and elastic belt! The manufacturer suggests stuffing the cords and belt into the device. I found this tiresome, since the cords tended to tangle. However, the headphones do store well on the device itself. A gallon size freezer bag is easier to use. This will keep those tempting cords away from inquisitive pets. Or just put it back into the box or store it in the drawer of your bedside table. (OCD can purchase a travel/carry case from Intercure.)

My daughter Morgane, who is now 8 years old, has been suffering from delibitating migraines since infancy (yes, there is such a thing, unfortunately).The symptoms are very impressive, she usually drops to the floor and starts vomiting within a few minutes. After being in acute renal failure I was on 5 different anti-hypertensive meds to try and control my fluctuating BP, none of which was able to get it regulated. It's a wedge...not much else to say really. It's a pillow in the form of a wedge which is supposed to help with multiple sleep issues such as snoring, sleep apnea, acid reflux...all of which I suffer from. This does help with those conditions, but is no substitute for proper medical attention and other methods of care.This 7.5" height is a good middle-ground, which elevates you more than a regular pillow, and isn't as bothersome as some of the 12" wedges. It takes a bit of getting used to, and it is still weird, but doesn't stop me from sleeping.
One thing to keep in mind is that you can't really lay on your side with these, you must sleep on your back. Otherwise it's uncomfortable, and defeats the purpose, so if you are a side sleeper, you might want to practice lying on your back at night.
My only real complaint here is that it doesn't come with a pillow cover, so you'll have to buy one along with it.

We bought this pillow for my husband, who is a world class snorer, at the suggestion of his doctor, who advised him that elevating his upper body might help with his snoring. I was skeptical...oh great, yet another useless anti snore pillow, mouth guard, nose strip, etc....we'd tried them all. I have to admit, it has helped remarkably with his snoring so we are both sleeping much better. Bought this because I have GERD & doc recommended I elevate head of bed. Rather than do that thought I'd try this pillow. Unfortunately it tends to bend you in the middle instead of elevating your upper body, plus it is very hard. Just not comfortable. Didn't work for me.Save 38% Off

I love the brand Clean & Clear. In fact, I currently use some of their products. I was immediately excited to try this when I saw the commercial. However, I was disappointed in the ingredients. There are dyes and colors in the wash! Why on earth would you want to put red dye on your face??? Most want to get rid of redness, not add to it. Would not recommend. Although this may smell good, stick to other Clean & Clear products.

This is basically the same thing as Softsoap's pomegranite body wash. It is NOT a facial cleanser. This made my face super dry and it broke me out. THis was a great replacement headgear for my husband's CPAP. It's much better than the one that came with original purchase. Husband says it's comfortable.Until recently, my health insurance paid for my CPAP supplies, and the sleep disorders clinic provided the official ResMed headgear for my mask. Now, however, I'm paying for CPAP equipment from my own pocket. When I had to replace worn-out headgear, I ordered the ResMed universal headgear, but I also ordered this no-name headgear to try out. It's surprisingly good for the price, which is about one-fourth what the ResMed headgear cost. It's unusual in that each strap has two tabs instead of one tab at the end; you'll have to experiment a bit to see which tab works best for you (that's hard to describe without a picture, you'll just have to see what I'm talking about).The headgear is very comfortable and appears to be well made. I haven't used it enough to know how durable it will be, but so far I'm very satisfied with it.It fits as well as headgear I've paid twice as much for, and is made of the same material. I currently use a Respironics Comfort gel nasal mask, but this headgear would fit on the Sullivan nasal masks I had before. I'm going to buy at least one more so I can rotate them and make washing them easier.

Sadly I have to give this a bad review. To save money I have bought generic brands of baby wipe since my son was young and really had no problem with them. Here recently I was able to get these wipes while still being able to save money. I thought what a great deal, name brand wipes at a good price, perfect... I was wrong. When I got these I noticed yes they are supper dooper soft and quite a bit stretchy, both seemingly like good things when it comes to wipes, well that is incorrect. Being soft is nice for my babies tush yes however I have to push quite a bit harder to get off all those stuck on bits that we know all of our children end up with. They aren't as wet as the others either and both of these things make then actually more irritating to the baby in the long run. The other thing is they are supper stretchy which maybe sound like a good thing as well. Wrong again. This makes it harder to get all that "stuff" off his bottom because when I go to fold the wipe over and reuse it, it isn't as durable, it tends to want to stretch itself thin, and you then have a mess on your hands..literally! Basically I was just disappointed that they would be such a pain to work with. I used Huggies wipes for years because the were so nice and thick. When Ifinally tried Pampers, they looked so scrawney!However, they are very soft and seem to be very gentle on baby's bum. Pampers are expensive, so I often bought Target's version. These are, in my opinion, the best baby wipes you can get. Pampers' classic wipes are fantastic (their thick ones are AWFUL, though), we've been using them for years. Personally, the babyfresh scent is my favorite. Unscented are great too, but I really love these. Thank you, Pampers!
