Contour Memory Foam Leg Pillow with Cover

This pillow was too soft! It needs to be firm enough to keep your knees apart which is the whole purpose in using a leg pillow in the first place. This pillow was so soft that my knees ended up mashing it within minutes and therefore my knees were touching and the pillow was useless. I don't recommend this for anyone who needs a pillow for knee support for proper spine alignment and back health.

I have had a couple pillows of this sort. This one is perfect for me precisely because it is relatively soft and it isn't too thick. I am about 5 ft 8 in and 180 pounds, so not a huge man, but not small. I have knee problems and also a vascular malformation on one lower leg, as well as knobby knees. When I sleep on my side and my knees are together, I often have problems with lateral pressure on one knee, pressure between the knees causing blood stasis in the VM, or other problems. These are enough that I often have trouble sleeping or am awakened by pain. I sometimes sleep with a regular pillow between my legs, which has helped a lot, but it is very awkward under the covers. I tried a similar type of contour leg pillow that had much denser foam and was much thicker, but it was too dense and too thick -my legs just didn't feel comfortable with it, though I slept a little better. So I was looking for a thinner, softer pillow, which this is.

The bottom line is that these sorts of things depend a lot on personal preference, the size of the individual, why you need a leg pillow, etc.

My hubby and I have been using leg pillows for a while and needed new ones. We bought one of these and one of the HoMedics Ortho Therapy leg pillows, so here's my two cents comparing the two. This is the one that I use -I'm 5'7", female, average build. I like the pillow, the shape is good and the cover has a nice texture, but will almost certainly have to replace it in 12-18 months. I've already noticed that it is flatter than when I first got it a few weeks ago, though it isn't anywhere near problematic now.

My hubby is 5'9" and has some back problems, and prefers the HoMedics pillow. While he initially found it big and stiff, he's adjusted and likes it now. I've tried his once and it was FAR too wide/stiff for me -felt like I had a large cardboard box between my knees. I believe that the HoMedics will loosen up somewhat over time, but it seems more durable than the Contour, just too big for me.

This is a really soft pillow, with a very nice soft cover. Unfortunately, the inside is too soft to provide enough support for most people. When I put it between my legs, it gets compressed too easily and my legs touch, which is not what is supposed to happen. This leg pillow doesn't provide enough support to keep your legs apart while sleeping.

The memory foam is much too soft, so the pillow does not separate the knees, making it worthless. Earlier versions of the Contour kneee pillow were made of regular foam, so initially, they provided sufficient separation to relieve stress on the hips. Eventually, the foam compressed until the spacing was insufficient, requiring replacement every few years. This new pillow was supposed to be the replacement, but brand new, it's worse than my existing old one. Presumably, Amazon will take it back; they're usually good about this.

All thanks to this sleep guard, I don't wake up in the morning with splitting headaches and jaw pain anymore. This sleep guard is adjustable and fits on my molars perfectly. Many times I was unconscious about grinding my teeth (aka: bruxism). Even when I yawned, I grinded my teeth (weird but it happened). The bite pad rests between the molars, and allows my jaw to relax during the night so I have less tension in my neck in the morning. My jaw and neck feel noticably better in the morning than they did with my first night guard.

I started grinding my teeth at night while studying for the Bar Exam (yeah, guess you could say I was stressed ... ).

I went through 2 different models of the boiler mouth guards (you boil the mold, bite it, and then immerse in water to set it) but really didn't like them, and they seemed flimsy.

Ultimately, I found this sleepguard model online and tried it out. It was soooo much better! Instead of fitting over all you teeth, it just creates an overall gap by keeping your back molars apart.

This model was a keeper. I don't use it anymore because I stopped grinding after the exam either because the stress was gone or because this trained me not to ... but whatever the case, if I had to buy one again, it would definitely be this model. I was very very pleased with it.

My husband has been using this for 1 week+, to prevent grinding his teeth at night. He had tried a cheaper $30 home fitted night guard that he could never get to fit right (required boiling etc.). This one is more expensive, but very simple, no boiling or fitting involved. It takes a little getting used to, but the brochure that comes with it goes over that, and encourages users to put it in 30 minutes before bed each night to become accustomed to it. And hey, it's alot cheaper than the $900 system the dentist wanted to fit him with!

Ever since my mom passed away, it seemed like I was grinding my teeth in bed without me even noticing. I would wake up with deep headaches and bad toothaches. This mask wasn't exactly what I was looking for (I'm accustomed to a heavy, very aromatic eye pillow), but I have been very pleased with it nonetheless. The lavendar scent is light and relaxing, and the silky face-down side of the mask that rests on my eyes feels great. I like the adjustable strap and was relieved that the velcro adjustment on the back wasn't uncomfortable to lie on; however, when the strap is tight enough to keep the mask firmly in place, I wake up with my ear hurting. One of the reviews talks about the little flaps that keep the light out, well, I suppose they do help do that, the problem is that no matter how loose or tight I have the mask, those nice little tabs, gouge my eyes out. It is not comfortable, whether you wear it with the eye flaps or on the reverse side with no eye flaps. I too have worn masks for years, I'm so not happy with this one, and no matter what other reviewers say, it does NOT stay on.

This is well-made and fairly comfortable with a satiny interior but I can't quite get used to having it on my face. Luckily, I only need to use it on really bright mornings when the sun pours in and I don't need to get up for hours. It takes a little bit of adjustment to make sure no light comes in but it can be done. I just wish it didn't hook with Velcro, as that gets caught on my hair and pillow cases, which is annoying.

The picture of the product would have you believe it's two bottles of tablets. It is not. It is those stupid little blister packs that ordinarily wouldn't be too bad, but the pills are quite brittle and will crumble easily, so we had to cut them open with scissors.

Like other reviewers I received a single box of blister cards instead of the two bottles of loose tablets. The blister cards are nearly impossible to open without crushing the tablets. You will need scissors and pliers to pry open each blister, and then tweezers to pick up the crushed bits of tablet. Finally, you will need a broom to sweep up all the bits that fell on the floor. And some bandaids to wrap up your bleeding fingers where you jammed the scissors trying to open the package. Amazon refunded me for this, but the product description remains inaccurate. My order was placed in November, 2012.

this does exactly what I wanted it to do....help me sleep. I can take half of one and when I awake in the night it helps me to back to sleep. If I want faster results, or if for some reason I think I won't sleep well, I take a whole one.

I started taking this after developing a resistance to the sleep medication prescribed by my doctor. I had trouble falling asleep, and in particular I find that I have racing, obsessive thoughts just prior to sleep that, of course prevent me from actually nodding off. Taking one tablet about half an hour before bed with a glass of warm water or a cup of (herbal) tea, and then another tablet right at bedtime, ensured that I fell asleep quickly. I am sometimes a bit groggy in the morning, and I sometimes have very odd (vivid and slightly disturbing) dreams when I take it, but these problems are not significant or prevalent enough to make me stop using the supplement. The thing I really appreciate about the medication is that I found that after three weeks of taking it, I could reduce my dose to one tablet a night, followed by one every other night, and eventually I was able to stop taking it completely and still sleep well!

I take the supplement from time to time now if I'm having a hard time sleeping or if I've had a particularly stressful day that I know might interfere with my sleep. It works very well, and Gaia is a name I've come to trust with herbal supplements.

L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Bodify Shampoo, 8.5-Fluid Ounce

This is a wonderful product. I used to use L'Oreal's top-of-the-line product, Kerastase (Bain de Force shampoo, and Lait Vital conditioner). Also an amazing product, but at $38 for an 8 oz bottle, it got pretty expensive. I've tried a few different products, but have always gone back to Kerastase. It's the best. Or so I thought.

I freely admit, it was the advertizing for L'Oreal Everstrong that drew me in. I tried the Everstrong Bodify shampoo in combination with the Everstrong Reconstruct conditioner. AMAZING. My hair smelled wonderful (similar to Aveda), but more importantly, it continues to be soft, shiny, and healthy looking after several months of use. I won't say it's BETTER than Kerastase, but I will say that it's every bit as good. And for the price, you can't get any better.

I have extremely fine and thin hair. This shampoo gave me more body, tamed the fly-away's and left my hair very soft! The scent does seem slightly medicinal...but it doesn't last long. I will definitely be buying more of this product!

I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for a couple of months now and my hair feels really nice, so soft. I have long hair colored light blonde, and when I use this, no more tangles, either, which is very nice. It does add body as it says it does, and my hair doesn't seem to break as easily as before I used this product. The smell is ok, not the greatest, but clean and natural, not perfumey. I guess I'm used to shampoos like certain Bedhead ones which have a great smell so I am biased. I love that it is so natural with no sulfates, too. I just wish this came in bigger sizes!

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would.

They may not contain sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonium lareth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate and myreth sulfate. They do however contain disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, which the Cosmetics Database actually rates as a moderate hazard ingredient because of its potential to carry ethylene oxide and 1,4 dioxane, known toxins and carcinogens. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is even worse, since it actually increases absorption levels, and can be contaminated with nitrosamines.

I will never purchase products made by L'Oreal, and do not recommend others buying this product. I suggest, read the ingredients to everything you buy, educate yourself with what they all mean, and make your decision from there.

The only minus is that it does have a slight tingly burn while its drying but it goes away as soon as it dries, also the cap causes too much to come out at once so be careful when you push the pump you dont want to waste too much as I have too many times because of the pump! I really like this eye gel! I'm 31 and have started getting lines around my eyes, and I have found other products to be ineffective at alleviating this issue.
