I've been using these earplugs for a few years now, and they are a real Godsend. I'm in the Army and often have to sleep in a common building/room/etc with other people not of my choosing. These things block out minor to moderate noises and at least help reduce the jarring shock of louder noises (slamming doors, people banging wall lockers 2" from your head, etc). They aren't a miracle force field or anything, but they are the quietest and most comfortable earplugs I have ever used. I can usually get a good 4-5 nights out of them before they start getting a little soft and moist, at which point I toss them and move on to a new pair.

I have chronic migraines with bad sound sensitivity, and even if I'm not having an episode I can be sensitive to loud sounds, and some sounds will trigger a migraine. This may not be the most common reason people wear earplugs, but I know I'm not the only one in this situation.

These Mack's earplugs, the flesh-toned version that blocks 32db, are the most comfortable and block irritating sounds better (an important combo) than the others I have tried over the years. I use them when my partner watches a loud movie, at the doc clinics where people bring in their screaming children, at the grocery, and anytime in public when the sound level is less than comfortable for me. I carry a pair in a camera-film canister in my handbag at all times; in this relatively hard plastic container they're well protected from purse lint and from getting squished. They do not block ALL sounds, I can usually hear my partner speak to me, but I have to pop one out of my ear and ask him to repeat himself. This is good enough for me. I like them enough that I do my typical thing when I really like a product: I want to buy a case of them in case the company stops making them!

I need to use ear plugs every day and this is the only brand that works. Heroes (another popular brand) tend to be too soft which means they don't even last a day before going bad.

Not too much you can say about ear pluggs, just know that they are comfortable and really works. Also , it's nice with flesh colored once instead of those bright pink ones!

My boyfriend snores and I'm a light sleeper. For two years, I relied on elbowing or kneeing him, which really didn't work. I felt perpetually crabby and tired. Finally I came cross the idea of earplugs. It's amazing. It took me little time to get used to having things plugged into my ears. It is a little odd to be able to hear your own heart beating. It doesn't drown out ALL of the snoring, but it does muffle it enough for me to be able to get a good night's rest.

These are definitely my go to earplugs. They're comfortable and easy to use. I do notice a slight various in the density of some of the earplugs (some are firmer some are squishier) but I haven't been disappointed by this product.

They also work well when you go to the gun range or work with loud cars. I only notice because my boyfriend stole these for his own activities.

I usually switch these out every 3-4 days. I hope they never discontinue them. It's a great product and since they're not neon colored, my nephews don't try to steal them because they think it's candy. A definite added plus.
