Aquasentials Cool or Warm Gel Eye Mask /w Clear Pouch

This mask is a nice idea, but it doesn't leave much room for a nose. The mask is too stiff and when chilled, my nose (which is not particularly large) lifts the mask away from my eyes, not allowing the "cool gel" to fully lay on my eyes. I was disappointed.

This broke before I even got to use it once. Save a few bucks and go to Wal-mart. They have the same thing for $3 and so far, it hasn't broken!

I ordered 2 of these eye masks, one for myself & one for my daughter. We both have sinus problems. We both agree that this mask feels good without putting it in the refridgerator. Along with the coolness, its great that you can still walk around and see normally with the mask on. Great idea! I recommend this mask to anyone who still needs to function at home & wants coolness & sinus pressure relief.

This is a nice, fairly comfortable mask for soothing around your eyes, The plastic is a bit irritating at first but you get used to it. A cloth layer would make it even better since when you first put it on from the refrigerator, the coldness of the plastic is bothersome but as it warms a bit that goes away, I have two so that I can alternate them as one gets too warmed up I can swap with another one from the frig. The price makes it less expensive that one of most other brands so affording two or even three is not going to hurt your pocketbook.

The eye holes are large enough to allow you to watch TV or read a book and it is slim enough that you can wear your glasses, if you need glasses, over the unit without a problem.

A cloth liner would earn it the fifth star.

As to any medical benefits, the only one I can claim it helps is when I get sinus headaches. While it doesn't cure them, it does ease the pain a bit. Can't speak about removing wrinkles or dark circles around the eyes since I don't really care about those things since wrinkles are a natural effect of aging and dark circles a natural effect of not getting enough sleep. But it will reduce puffiness some, but so can a cold rag. Only you can't read or watch TV with a cold rag over your eyes.

Not bad...but there were sharp plastic edges. If it caught you just right...it hurt. It doesn't stay cool for very long because you cannot freeze it...only put it in the fridge. I haven't tried to warm it up.
