I bought this pillow over two months ago and just finally started to use it. It has been off gassing horribly and I had to put it n the spare room so it wouldn't give me a head ache at night. I couldn't believe the sticker noting the "slight harmless smell" of the pillow. There is evidence now of the harmfull effects of foam off gassing! I think the dizzyness and headaches are evidence enough for me... But it is surely cofortable! Supports my neck without pushing my jaw into a position that causes it to lock up on me like most pillows. Just be sure to open it up and give it a few months to breathe before sleeping on it.

I have had this pillow for more than 3 years and it has been a godsend! I used to experience a stiff neck after sleeping. Not anymore! I travel a lot and have to deal with what I get at hotels (I ask for foam pillows if available.) However, I can't wait to get home to my Splitek 16 x 12" pillow. Everyone's different but this works for me!

I have a significant TMJ problem that involves my jaw, neck and shoulders. I bought the size of pillow correct for my height. The first one I ordered did not state in the description that it was a travel size. It was much too small to sleep on. So, I bought the regular size, again using my height to select the size. The thing is hard as a rock. After only a couple of nights my neck pain increased terribly resulting in even worse headaches than I started out with, and those were bad enough. It allowed me to sleep on my side without causing my jaw to hurt but that is all the positive things I can say about it. At his request, I brought the pillow to my TMJ specialist for him to have a look at it. He said he did not like it, that the indentation made to take pressure off the TM joint creates less than adequate spine support. This purchase was a costly mistake.
