CLINIQUE Repairwear Intensive Night Cream, 1.7 Fluid Ounce

CLINIQUE Repairwear Intensive Night Cream, 1.7 Fluid OunceThis is hands-down, the best moisturizer I've ever used! I love Clinique moisturizer because it rarely makes my skin break out, and I have dry sensitive skin. I used to use the Dramatically different lotion by Clinique, but as I've gotten older, I felt that it wasn't moisturizing my skin well enough, especially at night. It has no FRAGRANCE, which is usually the reason I stop using a moisturizer. I don't want perfumes on my face. The dramatically different lotion is also good, but it's much lighter, so this product is better for older skin (I'm almost 40).

I now use moisturizer day and night, with a mineral SPF foundation over it during the day (Bare Minerals). I'm so happy with this product. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. The larger tub will last me about 3-4 months, even if I use it every day. I think it's worth it. And with Clinique's liberal return policy, you should at least give this one a shot. I think you'll love it.

No breakouts, no redness, and great at moisturizing the skin. I use it over my lips, too, and let it soak in for a minute before putting on make-up or gloss.

Conclusion: HIGHLY recommended.

I just bought this cream at Macy's; I was telling my mother in law how I always get good deals at amazon. I was surprised when I came home and compare the prices: at Macy's I payed only $48.50 + taxes. So do your homework and compare prices before buying it here :)

Now Foods True Calm Amino Relaxer

NOW Foods True Calm Amino Relaxer, 90 CapsulesThis product was recommended to me by a co-worker and I have to say it has worked amazingly well for me. I take one each night and though I only get around 5 hrs of sleep on average, it is good quality sleep and I am not dozing off at work anymore.

100 Grams (3.53 Oz) N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) Bulk Powder has been the other miracle drug in my life and having take both supplements on a regualr basis now and can say my depression and anxiety issues have lessened dramatically to the point where they hardly, if ever, any issue anymore.

I am very grateful for the product and how it has helped me. I highly recommend trying it out and I hope you have the same results I did.

This product has literary made my life livable and allowed me to weened off Xanax. Because this worked for me so well I didn't feel the need to the other meds I was taking and told my doctor to help me get off my meds. I have now been taking only natural stuff for the last 9 months and feeling great. My anxiety problem is still with me but soooo much manageble. I will give this 10 stars if I could!!!

I have been on medications for anxiety on and off for years and found the prescription medications to put me on an emotional rollercoaster. I was a cancer patient approximately 3 years ago and wanted something more natural and after researching different products, decided on True Calm. I've been taking them on and off depending on what I have going on for about a month and wanted to give it a good true review. What a difference in my life. I actually take this product in the morning instead of night time, but am thinking more a long the lines of one in the morning and one at night to give me good sleep, considering I only get about 4-5 hours. I don't find myself to have any anxiety or explosive personality while taking True Calm at all. It calms me down and lets me settle into off days and just except them for what they are instead of flying off the wall. I have a job, business, two kids and a horse farm and I seem to pull through a busy day with a "take it for what it is attitude" instead of panicking all day long. I have tried not taking it on certain days just to see if True Calm is what is making hte difference and find it to be the product. Not all products do work for all people and yes some people have side affects, but for the money and the chance it might work for you, it's worth the money and the chance. I love it and am so happy to be off prescription drugs. This is the first product in all my years that I have taken the time to write a review on! Good luck :)

This is the first otc product out of hundreds that I have tried and can honestly say it works. From the very first day true calm has worked great for me. I feel very relaxed and peaceful, without any sleepy effect. I would recommend giving this a try.

I'm 26 and have suffered from anxiety and depression since I was 19. I hate the side effects associated with prescribed meds, so I wanted to try homeopathic meds. I've been on True Calm for a month (taking 3 pills a day), and though it makes me generally more patient and able to separate myself from anxious thoughts and emotions, It does nothing when I am in the middle of a full blown panic attack. This med best handles small ups and downs, so if you need it for that, I say go for it. But if you need something as strong as Xanax, this isn't it.

Everyone is different though, so take this how you will ;)

As sleep masks go and I have been through my fair share this is a great mask! Aside from being aesthetically appealing, this sleep mask is comfortable. The adjustable bands allow me to choose the perfect fit for my head. The foam inserts attached around the nose block light that used to sneak in with my old masks, but still allows for comfort. It is made of lightweight fabrics that are cozy, but don't produce too much heat in the warm Florida climate. I haven't tried the cooling mask that accompanies it, but I imagine it has superior function as well. I highly recommend this mask!

I've bought this mask by coincidence and I must say: it's awesome! Good quality, soft, pleasant and 100% light blocking. Meanwhile I use it every night and I have to admit I'm much more rested in the morning since then. Also great for a nap and travelling. The idea with the coolpack is very tricky!

BUCKY SLEEP MASK - SLEEP SHADES

BUCKY SLEEP MASK - SLEEP SHADES SLEEP MASK COLORS: BLACKI first saw one of these at a friend's house and tried it on and immediately loved it. Its so soft and comforting. Its a bit pricey if you ask me but I own two so I guess not too pricey! I have a terrible time sleeping and this product is an essential in my sleep routine. I don't know if I have thinner eyelids than most people but light in a room keeps me awake...and this mask solves that problem. I instantly relax when I put it on. I also suffer from migraines and this mask is very comforting when I'm in the midst of one. I recently went on a trip to Ireland and this mask was really nice to have on the overnight flight. The earplugs that come with it are complete garbage so I just bought nicer ones and store them in the little pouch in front if I need them.

It is soft and just heavy enough. It has a contour that keeps light from sneaking in under your eyes, my husband can read in bed while I drift off to sleep, into total darkness.

Zeo Sleep Manager Pro

Zeo Sleep Manager ProIt's important to know the limitations of this device before ordering, so that's why I'm taking the time to write this review. Since the limitations that make this device all but useless for me are all software, I have hopes that Zeo will make changes and I can change my review.

First, this is important for making an informed decision: It must be noted (and isn't clearly noted when purchasing the unit) that the headband you wear (not the black transmitter) is rated for only about 90 days and then requires you to purchase a new one which costs (at time of review) about $20 for 1, $50 for 3. The headband has sensors on it which need to be replaced, otherwise it will not pick up brain signals reliably or at all. The length of time the sensors/headband lasts depends on many factors, including how oily your skin is or if you wear night cream to bed (these reduce the life of the sensors). This is not a "con", it's just a fact of the unit, so be forewarned before purchasing that there will need to be additional purchases which, over the course of a year, could almost equal the price of the unit itself.

Now for the Pros: I have had no problems whatsoever with the functioning of the device. I find that the headband is, after adjusting for size, quite comfortable (I'm a side sleeper though. Those who sleep on their stomachs might have an issue with comfort), and I haven't once had an issue with the headband falling off my head. I connect with an iPod Touch, and haven't once lost signal during the night, lost data, or had an issue uploading to the website. From a technical perspective, the unit appears solid and the nightly operation is effortless. The "Smart Wake" function in the app works amazingly well. Some reviewers for the past iteration of this device complained that the unit was logging them as asleep while they were awake, but I have never encountered this. In fact, I'm quite amazed that it knows I'm awake, even when I'm not moving, which is a big pro over other sleep trackers I've used in the past. The website is easy to navigate, has useful information, and displays data nicely. It even has the function to export to a CSV file that can be opened in excel or other programs so you can manipulate the data yourself (if you are so inclined).

Cons: Now with so many pros, you can tell that I love the unit and would have easily given it 5 stars, EXCEPT for me, the system completely doesn't work and here's why. The software does not have the capability to deal with naps, multiple sleep times, or an irregular sleep schedule. If you sleep in one sleep session a night, going to bed at a fixed time and waking up at a fixed time, then you can stop reading and buy the unit with my blessings. But, if you are like me with a sleep disorder which keeps you from getting sleep in a single block or at set times, or you are a person who sleeps in more than one block (wiki polyphasic sleep) the unit will be worthless for you. For me personally, I have a non-24 hour sleep cycle, which means that everyday I go to sleep later than the day before (for me, my day is about 25.5 hours). Since I still need to try to contort to a world that operates during daylight hours, I often need to sleep for 4 hours, get up and take care of my son and see him off to school, run some errands, then go to sleep for another 4 hour block. But the software, as written, can't deal with this. If I have 2 periods of sleep in a 24 hour block, it simply throws one out it will show up on my iPod, but not on the website and won't be figured into any of the website's calculations and averages. So all of the data that spits out of the website for me is missing crucial data and is therefore unusable. I can see the sleep periods on my iPod, but I can't even export the data to use the data myself (when exporting from the website, it doesn't have the sleep periods the system threw out amongst the data). So what I have, in the end, is a device that I can see all of my sleep periods on my little iPod screen, but can't really use the website which is the heart of the unit.

So, you are wondering, is this worth removing 2 stars from the review just because I have a particular sleep disorder? Yes and here is why. Zeo itself knows that this is a deficiency in their software and has made comments to it in the forums on their website. In the forums, they have said that the ability to deal with naps or multi sleep sessions would be forthcoming, however that was posted quite a while back. People working for the company even went so far as creating a separate little program for analyzing sleep with more than one sleep period, but it works only with the bedside unit, and not with the mobile unit. These shortcomings aren't clear when you purchase the unit, and there are many people who would buy this who have sleep issues where they would need to log naps or what not. And who would think that the unit wouldn't be capable of recording and calculating your sleep whenever you put the unit on?

So my hope is that Zeo can deal with this and post a solution. That either they can alter their software or come up with a solution for the rest of us. And even if there are only 15% of all users that would encounter this problem, you would still want to know before buying a car that it works on only 85% of the roads and none of those roads are in your state. If a solution is developed, I will be certain to change my review.

Must admit, I'm a big Zeo fan having used the bedside unit for 1.5 years prior to the Sleep Manager Pro. At first I was missing some features I loved on the bedside unit. Turns out, by turning my iPod to landscape mode those features show up! Then I found the free "myzeo" app and can now review trends and nightly data on my iPod instead of having to go to the web site. The Pro is now my primary Zeo and I use the bedside unit to monitor meditations and naps.

I find the Sleep Manager Pro to more accurately report wake-ups than the bedside unit and I have no idea why. I hand log all my wake-ups each night and the Pro reports a higher percentage of them. Zeo does not report micro wake-ups which we PLMD patients experience most. Still, I get a good picture of my sleep by focusing on the amount of deep and REM because it's those darn micro wake-ups that impact the amount of those 2 important phases of sleep.

Zeo is extremely useful for tracking how medications and food affect sleep. It's amazing to see how even one glass of wine, a low dose sleeping pill or an OTC sleep remedy affects sleep architecture.

I've rated it 4 stars because wake-ups are Zeo's weakest feature.

Edited 8/18/12 The Pro needs more tweaking and testing. It stopped working after a month. Lots of communication with Zeo hasn't resolved the issue(s). I returned to using the trusty bedside unit and will be happy to try the Pro again once the bugs are worked out. I'm still a fan of Zeo and think they're on the right track.

I have been using Zeo products since first available. Before Zeo I have had three sleep studies, worked with a sleep psychologist, used a CPAP, tried all types of medications, and worked with many others on sleep hygiene.

I really didn't think there was much more I could do, but I am a softie for new technologies and was very interested to see if I could gather more data like the trends of my sleep studies.

I have been so impressed with the data I get, and when I journal my habits, I have been able to make some improvements.

Lately I have had the opportunity to use the Sleep Manager Pro. I highly recommend this product for anyone with ANY level of sleep issues. It is so easy to use. It charges quickly and then is used wirelessly. It can transmit via bluetooth during use or the data can be imported later. The changes in ease of use are worth the upgrade alone. But it is the outstanding sleep advice that steals the show. After all those years of work on my sleep, I found myself learning something new from the Daily Sleep Advice that is custom to my sleep score from that night, and I've been pleased to improve my sleep weekly.

I consider myself an occasional Early Adopter. Regret purchases come with the territory. ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS HERE. And if you have any trouble sleeping, I really doubt you will regret buying this either.

my device didn't hold a charge for more than one hour & asked customerservice for advice / replacement. Other than getting an automatic case number my 5-6 requests didn't yield any human response dealing with my issue. they must have serious support management issues. Bottom line for me: I bought a device that is useless.

Want Zeo Sleep Manager Pro Discount?

If ever a product deserved a one star review, it would be this. I owned the Zeo sleep manager pro plus and originally loved the sleep feedback. I still love the feedback when it works. My first device broke and I received a replacement. A few months later, the pro plus stopped working again. I was advised (when you could still talk to a human at zeo) to purchase new headbands. I spent 50.00 for a new headband and the problem persisted. I gave up on the zeo pro plus.

I did miss the sleep feedback information so when I noticed there was a new version called simply the sleep manager pro, I purchased it in hopes that it would be more reliable and easier to use. It is horrible!!!! It takes about an hour each night to try to get it to sync with my phone. I miss more sleep and become so frustrated that I sleep badly with this unreliable piece of junk.

I tried to call Zeo during their normal business hours and just got a recording to email then or live chat online. The live chat just dumps you to email. In other words, Zeo does not want to talk to people who have purchased their faultly products.

One of the problems is that a red light blinks constantly on the device. On the Zeo website , it states that if there is a red light blinking then you need to open the zeo application on the device. That is a joke because when the light is blinking the Zeo app IS open and it states that it is CONNECTED.

Save yourself some money and a whole lot of aggravation and skip this product.

I just noticed something. All of the 1 star reviews are from Amazon verified purchasers... NONE of the 5 star reviewers are.... Hmmmm???

Revolutionary, Patented SLEEP MASTER DELUXE tm Sleep Mask - Featuring Earplugs Storage Pocket and Ca

Revolutionary, Patented SLEEP MASTER DELUXE tm Sleep Mask - Featuring Earplugs Storage Pocket and Carry PouchThis was my 3rd Sleep Master purchase. It's by far the best sleep mask I've used. The last "extra" I bought went home with a house guest so I figured I'd try the "deluxe" version and see what it is all about. It really works quite the same as the regular Sleep Master, but it has a cool little pocket for earplugs. I don't use earplugs all the time, but occasionally when it's still noisy around the house at night or I want to take a nap during the day, I do use them. That's why this pocket is such a great idea. If I put the mask on, and realize it's still too noisy to fall asleep, I know exactly where to find my earplugs. They're IN the mask! No more fumbling through the nightstand, so I can put them in my ears without even having to get up. The deluxe is definitely a great idea for me. Although I usually just hang the mask on my bedpost, the sack that comes with is great for travel. As always, I recommend the Sleep Master, and now the deluxe version too, especially if you use earplugs.

I had been using the Sleep Master for years now. I went to buy another and found this one with the pocket and pouch. The pocket is a great idea--Now I'll never have to worry about searching under my bed for the one missing earplug! (Actually, I think my dog has been eating them since I rarely locate the lost ones.) It's a high price to pay for a sleep mask, but I've been using and washing the one I've had for years and it still looks and works like new. I figure I would have gone through about 5 or 6 of the cheaper kind in that time frame, and this one I do KNOW works great. So actually it's well worth the price-And now just think of all the money I'll save on earplugs-I guess I'll have to spend it on chew toys for the dog. Thank you Sleep Master Deluxe!

Cardiovascular Research - Magnesium Taurate, 125 mg, 180 capsules

Cardiovascular Research - Magnesium Taurate, 125 mg, 180 capsulesAfter experiencing abnormal heartbeats, tightness in the chest, anxiety, restricted breathing and sleep difficulties, my doctor diagnosed magnesium deficiency. I tried various magnesium supplements and finally settled on magnesium taurate. It gets the best results for me with less diarrhea than other products.

This is not the only brand of magnesium taurate that I have used, but it is the one I prefer. This brand has smaller capsules than the two other brands I have tried (one had very large tablets, the other had larger gelcaps with 1/3 less magnesium in each capsule). With one of the less expensive brands that I tried, I had to up my dosage by 50% when some of my symptoms began to return.

This is a quality product that I will continue to buy.

I started experiencing heart palpitations approximately 4 years ago. They started as random flutterings that would come and go as I lay down to go to sleep. They became progressively worse, and would often go on for days. These maddening incidents continued to worsen until they would culminate in a period of continuous palpitations, with my heart pounding rapidly and sporadically. These periods started in spurts of 20-30 minutes and once they stopped the palpitations would go away completely for a few weeks, then start building again. After one incident where the palpitations lasted for 2 hours, I went to the emergency room, but they stopped before the physicians could catch it on an EKG (thanks for the 20 minute delay in the waiting room even though there was no one in the place at the time).

Wash, rinse, repeat. The palpitations kept coming back, building, and culminating in an extended, frightening, painful period of rapid, irregular heart palpitations sometimes lasting 4-6 hours. These incidents left me feeling exhausted and horribly frustrated as no one could tell me *why* they were happening, *what* was causing them, or how to stop them.

I underwent blood tests.

I did a stress test.

I wore a holter monitor.

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Bubkis.

I was at the end of my rope, frustrated, angry, and unsure of what to do next as no could tell me what in the hell was wrong with me. I lived every day wondering when the palpitations would return, where I would be, and whether my heart would eventually give out.

Then I discovered Magnesium Taurate.

During a "building period" when I knew the palpitations were steadily growing and I was within a matter of days of being subjected to a 4-6 hour period of my heart attempting to hammer its way out of my chest, I was searching Google for *any* way of addressing, treating, or stopping these damned palpitations. I read an article about Magnesium deficiency causing heart palpitations, and specified magnesium taurate specifically because of its superior absorption rate. Figuring "What the hell" I drove to a local retailer that had it in stock and bought a bottle.

I took 4 tablets initially, and within an hour the palpitations had stopped.

Completely.

Not, subsided, not lessened, but stopped.

I was shocked. Then next day I took 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening.

Still no palpitations. Nothing. Not even a hiccup.

It has been a year now, and I have had no issues with palpitations, no multi-hour heart incidents that no physician can explain. If I go for a day or two and miss some doses I will feel a couple of flip-flops in my chest, but if I pop a couple of these, everything goes back to normal.

I can't say enough about this product, and would pay significantly more to obtain it. If you suffer from heart palpitations and no one can give you an answer, and least give this mineral a try, as it might just give you your life back.

First of all, let me start off by saying I usually don't take vitamins or minerals. The reason being, I've taken them in the past, mostly vitamins (not minerals), and to be honest with you I didn't feel any better. My feeling is if it doesn't do anything for you why take it???

Here's why I changed my mind and decided to try magnesium:

One day I just happened to be watching TV and saw this doctor by the name of Carolyn Dean, M.D. ND on a show called 'Your Health' talking about the many benefits of taking magnesium.

Many health problems such as insomnia, diabetes, asthma, to migraines to heart disease, etc. can be treated with magnesium. One of the major benefits is it relaxes your muscles. I was intrigued, it almost sounded too good to be true.

Long story short, I started taking magnesium taurate (by Cardiovascular Research) about 3 weeks ago and used it for my on and off insomnia that I had been having for the past two years. Not having high expectations (because of my past experiences) I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I wrong! The first night I took it I fell into a deep sleep, like 1-2-3, and woke up extremely refreshed. I couldn't believe it. 3 weeks later I can still fall asleep right after taking the pill, it isn't a fluke. It's amazing how much more energy you have when you get a good night's sleep.

This definitely is a good product/brand & I urge anyone who has trouble falling asleep to buy it!

Anyone who takes magnesium knows it's helpful to ease leg cramps and muscle spasms. There are many forms of magnesium, and I believe the best one is whichever works and doesn't upset your stomach. I've experienced digestive trouble with both oxide and citrate formulas, so I look for aspartate, glycinate or taurate when shopping for a cal/mag supplement. Unfortunately, those are rare, so I began taking magnesium separately at night.

The capsules are small & easy to swallow. You need to take 3 to get 90% of the recommended daily allowance of this essential mineral, so 180 capsules is a 2 month supply. It's actually best to split up dosages of any supplement, since your body can only absorb so much. I find that the leg cramps that woke me up during the night are gone and the formula is gentle to my stomach. The taurate is supposed to be relaxing, but I experienced a stronger effect when I took citrate in powder form (Peter Gillham's Calm)

The price on Amazon from Vitamin Shoppe is very competitive, but $25 is still much higher than other magnesium products, so I'm not sure if I'll order it again. I can recommend this product for its quality and Vitamin Shoppe for the quick shipping, but I'll probably be ordering something else next time.

I am editing this today, Oct 25. I ordered another magnesium supplement (from another vendor) with oxide & citrate, and I've had a lot of stomach cramping. I can't tell if it's because the product is stronger or isn't being absorbed into my system. In any case, I wanted to add this to my March review, since I decided it's probably necessary to spend a little more to get what works best.

It's a wedge...not much else to say really. It's a pillow in the form of a wedge which is supposed to help with multiple sleep issues such as snoring, sleep apnea, acid reflux...all of which I suffer from. This does help with those conditions, but is no substitute for proper medical attention and other methods of care.

This 7.5" height is a good middle-ground, which elevates you more than a regular pillow, and isn't as bothersome as some of the 12" wedges. It takes a bit of getting used to, and it is still weird, but doesn't stop me from sleeping.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can't really lay on your side with these, you must sleep on your back. Otherwise it's uncomfortable, and defeats the purpose, so if you are a side sleeper, you might want to practice lying on your back at night.

My only real complaint here is that it doesn't come with a pillow cover, so you'll have to buy one along with it.

We bought this pillow for my husband, who is a world class snorer, at the suggestion of his doctor, who advised him that elevating his upper body might help with his snoring. I was skeptical...oh great, yet another useless anti snore pillow, mouth guard, nose strip, etc....we'd tried them all. I have to admit, it has helped remarkably with his snoring so we are both sleeping much better. He never realized how much his snoring was disturbing his sleep and is now able to enjoy a peaceful night sleep and wake up refreshed. It is quite a new experience for him.

Bought this because I have GERD & doc recommended I elevate head of bed. Rather than do that thought I'd try this pillow. Unfortunately it tends to bend you in the middle instead of elevating your upper body, plus it is very hard. Just not comfortable. Didn't work for me.
