8 Foot Zippered Hose Cover

8 Foot Zippered Hose CoverMost of that noise coming from your breathing machine is actually coming from the hose. When you put this on you won't hear a thing.

So much easier to zip it up than try to feed hose through the small opening.

Would definitely buy again.

Melatonin MZS Sleep Disorder Remedy & Treats Macular Degeneration

Melatonin MZS Sleep Disorder Remedy & Treats Macular DegenerationI started taking Melatonin MZS because I went off from hormone treatment therapy and was having trouble getting to sleep at night. Also, the fact that it is also good for the eyes, confirmed my decision. One or two tablets about half an hour before one wants to fall asleep, and it works. No sluggishness upon waking in the morning! I recommend this product to anyone who mentions trouble sleeping or trouble seeing!

wonderful product!! Fast shipping company.

Well priced.

Helps me sleep and I am so grateful!!

One hint take earlier than the recommendation-

I find I have no indication the next day that I took it

if I take it at 8 or 9.

40 Carrots Vitamin Serum, 1-Ounce Boxes

40 Carrots Vitamin Serum, 1-Ounce BoxesI use this before I apply my moisturizer since it doesnt have spf as well as at night before I go to bed. This product is really amazing, it has made my skin very clear and youthful. It also helped to clear the dark circles around my eyes. I am of african origin with light skin,if this is any help to anyone.

I was looking for something to help with the overall texture of my skin. I have been using it for about a month now. I use it underneath my regular moisturizer.

Pros are: I have noticed that it does help with minimizing my facial oil throughout the day. It seems to tighten the face as soon as it dries. This tightening effect is what I like most about the product. I am not sure if this effect is actually tightening the wrinkles or is actually "doing" anything beneficial. It sure feels like it does though.

Cons are: No sunblock benefits in it. You will have to use a moisturizer with spf over it. The pump is poorly designed. You will waste a lot of product since it is hard to control the pump.

I hope the review will help you determine its worth to you. I think it's cheap enough. You should give it a try.

I have oily skin and bought this on mega sale at Marshalls, thinking for the price I didn't have anything to lose.WOW! I have tried sooo many other products for the results I had gotten and for an over the counter treatment this one is amazing!!! No break outs and literally glowing skin every morning (I applied it right before bed) The mega plus is that it is not chalked full of silicones or the other nasties that find their way into products like this. The bottle even lasted me a few months and I will definitely be buying more :)

Chillow Cooling Pillow Insert

Chillow Cooling Pillow InsertMaybe I did something wrong, but the instructions were clear so I don't see how I could have. It just didn't work. The instructions clearly say not to put it in the frig or freezer. But that's the only way I can think it might actually work. Otherwise, it just doesn't stay cool

A little disappointed...this isn't staying cool and it keeps moving around and getting lumpy inside the pillow case. Am I doing something wrong that it doesnt' stay cool all night?

I bought TWO of them....one for ME & one for my little DOG, who lays on it EVERY day!!....it stays cool for WEEKS!

What a disappointment! It does not work as described. The pillow does not get any cooler then the water you put in it and it does not stay cool. I ended up throwing it away save yourself the money and do not buy this.

Want Chillow Cooling Pillow Insert Discount?

I've been using the Chillow for over 5 years. It's not perfect but I've found a way to make it work. First of all, I put it directly on top of my pillow and sleep with my head directly on it. It does not stay cool for the entire night but if you wake up and it's not cool enough, you can rotate it 180 degrees and it will be fine for another few hours.

Eventually, small tears appear around the edge of the Chillow. Eventually, they will start leaking. If you examine it every week or so, you can see the tears and put a drop of super glue on them. This will prevent them from leaking. I get about 6 or 8 months out of each one before I reorder. To me the benefits of the chillow far outweigh the downside.

I honestly can't imagine sleeping without my Chillow.

Soft-Hands Gel Gloves

Soft-Hands Gel GlovesYes, for those of us on a (relatively) tight budget, $24.99 can be a lot to shell out for a pair of gloves. Let me me reassure you that these therapeutic gloves are worth every penny. For starters, they have great emolients (like jojoba oil) and the gel cushions dry, calloused skin so nicely. You slip these on for about three hours at time and you definitely FEEL a difference in the condition of your skin. You won't regret buying these gloves. They last for about 40 uses...........It's like bringing the spa to your living room, at a fraction of the price.

I do love these gloves. I am a health care worker and my hands are pretty beat. When I wear these during the night the next day my hands are like new.

After all the good reviews I was so excited to have moisturized hands again. My hands are DRY. Dry, itchy, cracked, sometimes bleeding. I needed a solution and I really had high hopes for this product. I was severely let down. These gloves were not intended to moisturize hands, they were obviously just soften them. I put them on overnight as directed and I woke up to intensely dry, sweaty, and GRAY hands. Yes, my hands were gray. I stopped using them immediately and offered them to my mom whose hands are unaffected by it. She even has the socks of the same brand. Did not work for me though, sorry!

these gloves are worth the money. My hands were sooo dry and chapped, they were cracking, so it really hurt. With a toddler and a baby, all I do is wash dishes and my hands all day long. I tried many different lotions (really expensives ones, too). These gloves do the trick: after just a few days the cracks have healed and my hands are soft! I definitely recommend them.

I would fall asleep out of pure exhaustion and then wake up feeling dead tired because I didnt sleep enough. After the second day of taking DeepGreen I started to relax and feel calm before sleeping. My mind would calm down as well and I could actually close my eyes and not over thing before going to sleep. I fall asleep easy now and I dont wake up throughout the night and I wake up in the morning feeling good.

Philips AVENT BPA Free Classic Polypropylene Bottles

Philips AVENT 9 Ounce BPA Free Classic Polypropylene Bottles, 5-PackPhilips has done a fantastic job of confusing their line of Avent baby feeding bottles. It should be a simple matter to clearly name and describe a product such as this, but the reality is Philips has done it's best to complicate it.

Why the confusion: Over the past 25 years Philips has changes the Avent product line every year. Recently changes involved removing BPA from all parts that touch baby food (note that their products aren't 100% BPA free parts that don't touch baby food may still contain BPA). This change introduced problems with some of the products causing the Avent venting system to leak (more on this later). In addition, Philips has used different product names for the same or similar products.

ISN'T A BOTTLE JUST A BOTTLE?

Recently Philips has made Avent bottles in several plastic materials:

1. Polycarbonate: this is a very hard and very clear plastic it's properties closely match real glass and is commonly known by the brand name Lexan. For years almost all hard/clear food containers were made of polycarbonate plastic. Unfortunately, this type of plastic contains Bisphenol A (BPA) which has been classified as a toxic substance in Europe and Canada (with the USA having serious concerns). Since 2008 manufacturers of almost all baby products have started to replace Polycarbonate with alternatives.

2. Polyethersulfone (PES): This rigid BPA free plastic hasn't traditionally been used in baby products because of the higher cost of the raw material. In addition, PES bottles typically have a brown or "honey" colored or brown tint which may be unattractive to some parents.

2. Polypropylene (PP): Also a BPA free plastic, Polypropylene is slightly cloudy or milky in appearance. Containers made from Polypropylene are also slightly flexible.

Avent bottles are currently available in PES and PP models. Many people still have the old Polycarbonate bottles which perform great (but contain BPA).

LEAKS LEAKS LEAKS (AND THE MYSTERY OF THE "ADAPTER RING")

Many people have reported leaking problems with the newer Avent bottles. There are a couple of factors why this is happening:

The Avent system is designed to vent or let air into the bottle as baby feeds. This is achieved by having tiny slots cut into the base of the nipple. When baby sucks the nipple, it flexes and allows air into the venting slots (and then into the bottle). The benefit of this system is there are no special parts (see the Dr. Browns system) so it's easy to clean and maintain. The disadvantage is this system relies on the interface/connection between the bottle and nipple any problems where these two parts meet will cause leaks.

Many people have had issues maintaining a good connection between bottle and nipple with the PES (honey colored) bottles. This may be due to the bottle changing shape over time (particularly the impact of dishwasher washing).

The polypropylene bottles have a different issue. Polypropylene is simply too flexible to maintain good contact between the nipple and bottle. Philips has solved this problem redesigning the shape of the bottle and including a ridged "Adapter Ring" with recent polypropylene bottles (I think that first generation PP kits did not have this part). The adapter ring fits onto the top of the bottle and provides a stable and strong base needed by the Avent nipples. The new bottle shape with the adapter ring installed mimics the size and shape of the old style bottle. It's a hassle, but this extra part will prevent leaks if used properly. The ring also appears to be less susceptible to warping from high heat. You can purchase spare adapter rings separately.

Important: to prevent leaks you should assemble the bottle with nipple and adapter ring in place while it is wet! (read the manual).

CLASSIC VS ADVANCED VS NATURAL FEEDING VS EXTRA DURABLE

Philips seems confused with how to market Avent bottles. They have changed the name of Avent products over time and haven't done a good job differentiating between the polypropylene and PES bottles.

Some Avent bottles are branded CLASSIC and ADVANCED. The "Classic" bottles are the milky colored, softer plastic, polypropylene (PP) bottles which use the adapter ring these are typically sold in a BLUE/WHITE BOX. The "Advanced" bottles are the honey colored, rigid plastic, polyethersulfone (PES) bottles these are sold in a YELLOW/WHITE BOX.

Recently all Avent bottles have been branded NATURAL FEEDING this additional name does not indicate which type of plastic the bottles are made of.

SO PES OR PP?

After trying both, I think I'll be using the Polypropylene (PP). At first I thought the adapter ring was a step backward why do I want to deal with the extra part? But in practice it isn't much of a hassle at all. In addition, many people have reported leaks with the PES bottles. In addition, the PES bottles were less expensive (when I bought them).

Remember to assemble your bottles properly (wet) and do not over tighten them.

SHOPPING ON AMAZON

Make sure you know which type of bottle you are getting. Unfortunately, the Amazon product descriptions for Avent bottles don't always indicate which type of bottle you are getting. Philips makes most sizes of the Avent bottle in both types of plastic. Read the product description carefully before buying. Be cautious with reviews as some reviewers have written reviews for the other plastic type.

UPDATE 1

It is becoming harder to get anything but the "classic" (blue box) polypropylene (pp) bottles as it appears Phillips has recently withdrawn available inventories of all other bottles (i was talking to the manager of a local baby store who indicated they had to remove all Avent PES bottles and return them to Phillips). Still check to make sure you are getting the type of bottles you expect.

UPDATE 2 June 2011

I still see old PES bottles for sale but they are almost completely gone. The "classic" polypropylene (pp) bottles are now available in blue and pink tints. Another recent change recently manufactured bottles have a slightly wider mouth you can tell if you have this new generation of bottles if the adapter ring does not fit snuggly (and will not stay in the bottle if held upside down).

Some people have ask what size nipples are included in the sets. 9 ounce bottle sets come with #2 nipples. 4 ounce bottle sets come with #1 nipples.

For our first baby born in July '07, we used (and loved) the original Polycarbonate Avent bottles the first few months. Then the BPA paranoia overtook us, and we switched to Born Free bottles, which are made of honey-colored Polyether Sulphone (PES). The Born Free bottles worked well enough, but we hated the 2 extra complicated parts per bottle that we had to clean. For our second kid born in Sept '09, we wanted badly to switch back to Avent, but read poor reviews of the PES BPA-free Avent bottles (apparently they leaked for many users). Fortunately, right around that time, Avent introduced a second line of BPA-free bottles made of the cloudy Polypropylene (PPE), and initial reviews indicated that Avent fixed the leaks (by adding a simple removable collar between the bottle and nipple). After 1 month of using these new PPE Avent bottles, I can attest that they indeed don't leak, and I don't need to take special care or do any procedure to make them leak-free. They just don't leak. Yes, the newly added collar is an extra part to clean, but at least it's a simple part that's easy to clean. So for all you Avent fans out there, take heart! Avent fixed the leaks. Tip: the leaky PES honey-colored bottles come in yellow-colored boxes. The new leak-free PPE cloudy bottles come in blue-colored boxes. Buy the blue-colored boxes.

First, let me state that I am ONLY referring to the clear plastic bottles not the ones with the yellow tint (I LOVE those bottles!).

I dislike the clear plastic bottles because they leak. Unlike the normal bottle where you just attach the nipple, these bottles require a separate ring to be attached before you can screw on the nipple. And if you don't get it on just right, your bottle will leak all over you and your poor little one.

Sure, that's not a HUGE deal, but if you are using both the clear plastic ones AND the yellow tinted ones, it can be a pain at 3am to figure out which one you are using. Plus it's another piece to wash and keep up with.

On the plus side, formula seems to slide down the edges of this bottle quicker than the yellow ones, so you don't throw as much away. I'd still say spend the extra dollar to get the yellow ones.

Magnesium L-Threonate 90 Veg Caps by Swanson Ultra

Magnesium L-Threonate 90 Veg Caps by Swanson UltraThis definitley makes me feel better, but I often have better luck with magnesium glycinate or magnesium oil. This is just ME, though.

This definitely saved my sleep! I am pregnant with an extreme case of restless leg syndrome that was worst while lying in bed or when resting. I heard magnesium could help with that and it definitely helped me. I went from tossing and turning for four hours with no relief to sleeping through the night just fine. I have absolutely no trouble falling asleep at night. I take one pill in the morning and two before bed. I do not take them with my other vitamins as sometimes magnesium interferes with the absorption of other vitamins. I usually wait two hours between regular vitamins and the magnesium. I definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from restless leg syndrome. Cheers!!

This product definitely makes me more alert -like caffeine without the buzz. If I take it too late in the day, it keeps me awake at night.

But then I started to wonder why most forms of magnesium don't cross the blood-brain barrier. If my brain needs magnesium, it will let it in. I don't think I want to trick my brain into admitting a mineral it normally excludes.

I'm going to save the rest of my bottle for times when I absolutely have to be alert and caffeine isn't doing the job. Or until research is published that shows it's safe.

Burt's Bees - Day Lotion Intense Hydration with Clary Sage

Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion, 1.8 Ouncei did not purchase this @ amazon but at my local drug store. i have been using this day lotion for about a week. i am 50 with dry winter skin. i have found that it moisturizes very well both am and pm and i don't feel like i need a heavier cream at night. it sinks in fairly quickly and doesn't feel sticky or tacky. this lotion has not caused blemishes like some others have. it also doesn't cause my face to get bright red like some other lotions. the one complaint i have is the fragrance. to me it smells like cucumber which isn't really all that unpleasant. the problem is that the smell lingers on my face for a couple of hours and after about 30 minutes it gets rather nauseating. i give it 4 instead of 5 stars for this reason. so if you are sensitive to fragrance, you might want to think twice. all in all i like this day lotion and if i can get used to the fragrance, i will purchase it again especially since it's a natural product.

Love the feel of Burt's Bee's Day Lotion. Really LOVE knowing there are no parabens. I will continue to use it!

Want Burt's Bees - Day Lotion Intense Hydration with Clary Sage Discount?

I usually don't write reviews for beauty products, nothing has ever stood out to me. I purchased this day cream and the cream cleanser on a whim, when I needed something to take on a trip. Living in California and having very picky skin, my skin gets very very dry during the winter. Every time I go on a trip, or have a change of environment, my skin freaks out as well. I have used a ton of different moisturizers (cheap and expensive), none have really cured the problem. It was so bad for a while, 10 minutes after using a moisturizer in the morning, I could see dried skin peeling off of my face. Right after purchasing this, I went to New Orleans for work for two weeks, and was well prepared for another skin disaster. Let me just say was I surprised! I used the cleanser at night with my Clarisonic and day cream mixed with a sun block in the morning. My skin has never felt this good. I'm currently finishing a jar of Golden Sun Drop night cream, but planning to try the Intense Hydration night cream after. The peeling has gone away, my skin is much more clear, and didn't have one break out when I was on my trip. I wake up with really healthy feeling/looking skin, not a piece of dried skin in sight. This is such a god send, especially for the price! I have never used Burts Bees products before, but I am a believer now. Go buy this now, you won't regret it!

International Yalacta - Stabilium 200

Nutricology Stabilium 200 Gel Caps, 30-CountThis works really well for my son and his anxiety. He definitely is calmer and more relaxed on it. He seems happier and more easy going, which is wonderful to see. We have tried many natural treatments and this has been one of the best. I tried it too and it seemed to make me a bit tired, but I only tried it for a day or two and I have chronic fatigue so I am easily tired. If I try it longer term, I will post another review because it could have just been me that day. It doesn't make my son tired at all.

I've been taking stabilium for just under one month now because of sudden anxiety and trembling issues I developed after an injury. My naturopathic doctor wanted me to try these because it supposedly not only help anxiety, but with muscle pains (like normal fish oil, I suppose). After about 2 weeks, the trembling went away (not sure if it was the stabilium or just coincidental though). I'm still having anxiety attack problems, however. Because I'm very sensitive to supplements, I started the first week with only 1 pill, then bumped it up to 4 for the remaining 3 weeks. It's expensive for this sort of regimen.

While it's not doing anything to harm me (no side effects not even any fishy taste!) it's not obviously doing anything to help me either. I'm going to keep at it for another 2 boxes and then I'm going to ask my naturopathic doctor about another more effective alternative. If it starts to really work, I'll come back and edit this post. :)

Sleep Apnea Pillow - CPAP Pillow - CPAP Nasal Pillow a Sleep Apnea Mask Device Pillow, Pillow For Sl

Sleep Apnea Pillow - CPAP Pillow - CPAP Nasal Pillow a Sleep Apnea Mask Device Pillow, Pillow For Sleep ApneaI sleep on my stomach, not really comfortable with CPAP on!, This pillow has not only helped me to stay on my side more, but offered better support for my neck. I must have cranked my neck to sleep on my stomach. My neck hurt everyday and was really stiff, after using the pillow one time my neck didn't hurt and was better each day.

I do wish it came with 4 pillow cases, that would really help. I have recommended this pillow to several of my friends who are on or have family that wear CPAP/BIPAP.

Being a side sleeper, this pillow not only provided comfort for the mask but also handled the neck/shoulder stress that regular pillows cannot provide. Would recommend this pillow for almost anyone.

Buy Sleep Apnea Pillow - CPAP Pillow - CPAP Nasal Pillow a Sleep Apnea Mask Device Pillow, Pillow For Sl Now

Some reviews state that the pillow is too narrow. I compared it with the neck-supporting memory foam pillow I was using before, and it is the exact same size. What's good about this pillow is that the indention on each side accommodates the main part of the mask nicely to alleviate pressure against it. The problem is the pillow's forehead area (#6 in the color-coded image). I have a ResMed Mirage Quattro and the pillow's "inclined forehead support" presses against the plastic portion of the mask where it rests against the forehead. This forces the mask sideways and against the bridge of my nose. In an attempt to avoid this, I turn my head to an uncomfortable angle and end up with the [back or neck] pain that I was hoping this pillow would eliminate. Overall, I'm very disappointed and even considered leaving a one-star rating.

Yes, it's small. Yes, it's thin. Yes, it's perfect...for me. I realize that liking a pillow is totally subjective but this one is the best I've found, and I've tried several over the last two years. It's small size means you don't have to re-position it when changing from side to side. Since I sometimes sleep with an arm under the pillow, only a thin pillow works. After receiving the pillow, I let it "air" for a couple of days (I'm sensitive to odors) and for the last two months I have had the best sleep since I got the CPAP.

The seam gave away like it was held together with rubber cement. On both sheets, as I attempted to zip them up (the 1st time), the zipper completely separated. I was being as gentle as I could.

Also, these things tear like a balloon that's been left out in the sun. The mattress barely made contact with the frame as I was putting back in place. It ripped like tissue paper.

I've bought sheets just like this in the past and had the same experience. I was hoping the 1st time was a fluke. There's got to be something better than this out there.

bought one as a spare. Didn't open it for weeks after we had it. When we finally opened it, there was a giant hole in one of the seams & it was too late to return. avoid it.

I bought one of these and kept it in the bag as a spare. When I needed it, the zipper fell apart as I was trying to zip it closed. Having had six decades of experience with zippers, I do not think this was "operator error"! I have temporarily made it work with "Duck Tape" Because of my delay in finding the defect, I cannot dispute the transaction.

Amazon does not allow a Zero Star rating or this product would have received one! I would only recommend this product to an enemy.

The large paper that came with the product said, "Made in China". There was a sticker on the actual product that said, "Made in Taiwan." China and Taiwan are not the same!!!

"Caveat Emptor" is "New Latin" for "Let the Buyer Beware!". Please "Beware!"

I wasn't sure about the thickness of the plastic and wished I had bought something thicker. The cover got about a 6 inch tear while my husband was putting it on I'm not sure how rough he was with it. For the price though the cover works well to keep our son's mattress protected while we are potty training.

Itzbeen Pocket Nanny Baby Care Timer

Itzbeen Pocket Nanny Baby Care Timer, BlueWhen I suggested to my wife that we needed this item on our baby registry, she thought I was just feeding my gadget habit, baby-style. Having been a night nurse for newborn twins and triplets for years, she thought she would never need this item. Well, this item arrived on the second day after we got home from the hospital and my wife wishes that she had it on the first.

You see, one of the skills that really suffers with sleep deprivation is math. If you can even mentally keep track of the times or write them down, doing the "hours" math on when our baby last fed, when she had her diaper changed, etc. is really not as easy as it sounds when you've had no more than about 45 minutes of continuous sleep for four days. So this does it for you four timers with little icons and a left/right slider for breastfeeding (which is also a tough thing to remember, but something you really don't want to forget). It is exceedingly simple press the icon button and it restarts the timer perfect for the sleep-deprived mind.

As for the suggestions by some reviewers that this timer needs additional features, such as feeding totals and quantity subtotals, I disagree. I think that additional features would likely take away from the simplicity of the device making it more complicated to operate on limited brainpower and thus less likely to be used. Those with more complex needs might consider a PDA with a spreadsheet or specially designed program.

It's not often I get to hear that I was right and my wife was wrong (we're usually on the same page). This was one of those times.

This timer system is beyond helpful it becomes your BRAIN when you have a newborn, as the hours, feedings and diaper changes become a total blur during this amazing yet totally sleep deprived time of your life. While it would be nice to have a few more features like total ounces drank, whether the diaper was a wet one or a doodie, and tracking of daily totals for everything that'd be more of a infantcare PDA, and is a bit beyond the scope of this little device. All it aims to be is a timer that will keep track of the key stats in your baby's life, consequently making your life way easier. I wake up in middle of the night and the baby is grunting, for example. I click the backlight button and see that in fact the baby has only been asleep for an hour, and had a diaper and bottle right before that. Then I just go back to sleep. On the other hand, he beguns grunting and making noises and I see the Itzbeen says it's been 2 hours 30 minutes since his last bottle or diaper, and I know it's time to get up and feed him.

It's also great for team caregiving, as my husband can hand me the Itzbeen after doing his morning shift, and I automatically know when the last change and bottle were. We use the wildcard button to track bottle expirations too.

Thumbs up for the developers of this cool gadget I hope to see an "Itzbeen II" w/ some advanced features in time for my next baby although keeping it simple does help keep it easy and quick to use, especially in the fog of a 1am, 3am, and 5am feeding schedule! (my son never got the memo that full term babies are only supposed to eat every 3 or 4 hours :)

Having twins we always had to write down everything, or we wouldn't remember whom we feed, when we feed them, or any details. We used to keep a chart, but then I received the Itzbeen as a gift. It is so much faster to press a button then to write everything down. When we go out I just toss it in my purse and when the babies start crying I can just pull out the itzbeen look at the timers and figure out if it is time to eat or they are just being fussy. If the boys do eat or require a diaper change, I can record it easily. no more carrying around a clipboard!

I didn't give it 5 stars because it would be even better if it could track how many oz of formula the babies eat and if it could total the number of hours the baby slept.

But still it is a nice tool for forgetful people. I'm buying a 2nd one, so I have one for each of my twins.

I got this product before our baby was born as a way to help my husband be involved with the care of our newborn--I figured that keeping track of things like diapering and feeding schedules would help him feel more integral to the life of the new baby since I would be breastfeeding and doing the lion's share of the feeding work. But it turned out to be more than just a good idea to have when my labor and delivery took 3 days in the hospital and produced one beautiful but tired infant. Our daughter took a couple of weeks to come out of her daze (3 days of being squeezed by contractions would stun anyone!), and in the meantime we had to wake her for feedings, which we juggled with a pumping schedule to help my milk supply come in and build up. This turned out to be an invaluable gadget during those first chaotic weeks. As a bonus, since it arrived two weeks before we delivered, we also used it to time my contractions at home.

Pros:

-The four seperate timers are great. We managed to track our daughter's feedings, my breast pumping, her sleep cycles, and other miscellaneous events all at once. The option of being able to set an alarm (silent with flashing light or beeping with flashing light) for each of the timers was an extra bonus.

-The nightlight feature is fantastic. Even now when we're not using the timers that often I use the nightlight several times a night to check on our daughter without turning the lights on or disturbing my sleeping husband. When we were using the timers the seperate backlight feature was also critical since we could check the display without making it too bright.

-It's small and fits in the palm of your hand or clips onto your clothing. So it goes everywhere and I even slip it into the diaper bag when we're going out of town or even just headed out and about and I need to keep track of something.

-It did accomplish what I wanted it to: my husband was able to be very involved with our daughter's life in the first few weeks. Plus it helped me out that he could keep track of things that needed to be done when I was completely zoned out and sleep deprived.

Cons:

-There really aren't any. Some people complain that it should have more features, like keeping track of wet/dirty diapers or other feeding details. But that's really only something that you do for a short time, and adding features like that would detract from the simplicity of the device.

This is a great product. It had it's heaviest use in the first few weeks of my daughter's life, but we continue to use it and find ways to make it useful for all of us.

My timer was defective in that LED screen for the top function (the diaper change button) was not complete...meaning you could not discern the digits (was it an 8 or 0?). Otherwise, the other functions worked and I was able to see how much time elapsed. Overall, though I stopped using the timer fairly quickly for a few reasons.

1. I had a newborn and when she was yelling/screaming crying for her bottle or permanently attached to my breast...I just forgot to press that button to start the timer over.

2. For some reason, I envisioned a product that would not only keep time between feedings, diaper changes, etc. but would also keep track of the sleep time during the day, etc. or the number of diaper changes & feedings per day. BUT it only tells how much time has elapsed from the your last feeding, changing etc. Maybe I am asking too much, but I don't see what differentiates this product from a multi-use timer. It's essentially several times on one device. Overall, it is a good but for all the raving reviews I just expected more.

I came back and edited this review because I wanted to add that they company has fabulous customer service. I emailed the company to inquire about getting a replacement for the timer. The president of the company emailed me back promptly on a Sunday asking for my address. He did not ask me to send back the defective timer and must have shipped the replacement priority or overnight because I received the replacment in no time.

Skullcap 425mg - 100 - Capsule

Skullcap 425mg - 100 - CapsuleA friend recommended this as a treatment for anxiety.

I've taken this several times on days I expected to be anxious, and it had no effect that I could tell. I also tried it for sleeping and it had no obvious effect.

I heard about Skullcap through a radio host named Giuliani on "Truth Hertz" on Oracle Broadcasting. He doesn't like sleep because he thinks it's a waste of time, but when he needs sleep, he has trouble sleeping. He said he's tried "everything" but nothing works -except his latest discovery, Skullcap. He said it put him right to sleep and he stayed asleep. The fact that Skullcap might not only put one to sleep but keep one asleep was the very thing I needed. I've tried Melatonin in 3, 5 and even 10 mg, and I still wake up in the middle of the night for no reason.

I've now spent five nights using Skullcap and have to report that I don't go to sleep right away after taking three capsules and some nights I sleep straight through, but some nights I still wake up -for no reason.

So, I don't think Skullcap is any better than Melatonin for a good night's sleep. Skullcap may have anti-inflammatory properties and liver-cleansing properties. That's all wonderful, but I just wanted something that could put me to sleep, let me stay asleep and wake up without a sense of stupor or hangover. Skullcap is no better than Melatonin, I'm sorry to say.

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Pure-Castile Soap, 18-in-1 Hemp Peppermint, 32-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Pure-Castile Soap, 18-in-1 Hemp Peppermint, 32-Ounce BottlesI'm not a crunchy hippie, and I don't go in for the naturalistic sales pitch, but this stuff is fantastic. It is a quality product that has become the shampoo, body soap, shaving cream, and in an emergency toothpaste in my toiletry kit.

It is invigorating and opens up my eyes and sinuses every morning.

It can be a little shocking to sensitive body areas in the nether regions, but after a couple of uses you get used to it and dare I say look forward to it every morning.

The philosophy on the bottle also makes great reading!

This is fantastic soap. It's non-toxic for my family. We use it in our hand soap dispensers, in bottles for body wash in the shower and even on the babies hair. I love it. It's rating for toxicity is zero which is rare. I will never be without this safe product for my family.

I love, love this non-toxic soap. I have seen it in stores but thought it was a bit too costly. However, I thought I would give it a try. I will never be without this product again. I am using and interested in products not containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, an ingredient found in many products we use daily. A little liquid on my bath towel goes a long way. I like how my skin feels after I shower using this product and the many uses this product offers.

Such a classic...love the smell. I use it as a shower gel, shampoo, for washing delicate clothes, and shaving.

Some might find it to be a bit pricey, but if you consider its multiple uses it is totally worth it.

Can't think of anything bad to say, only wish I discovered it earlier.

Patricia Wexler M.d. Intensive Night Reversal and Repair Cream 1.7 Fl Oz

Patricia Wexler M.d. Intensive Night Reversal and Repair Cream 1.7 Fl OzThis is a great product, especially for mayby "older" face that needs some perking up with a cream. I have used many nightcreams, and some seem to do almost nothing. This "intensive night reversal and repair cream" feels like it is doing a good work! I would definitely recommend it for those needing a little something in their night cream to make a difference.

DenTek Custom Comfort Dental Guard, Twin Pack!, 2 ct.

DenTek Custom Comfort Dental Guard, Twin Pack!, 2 ct.This is the only night guard I will use. It is very comfortable and easy to get used to. The only problem is that they fall apart and you will likely have to buy a new one every six weeks or so.

This is a great product because it forms right to your teeth/mouth. Although, a few weeks into it it's already breaking apart. :((

I have been wearing plastic nightguards for years and have never had a product this faulty. I purchased it at Target b/c there was a 2pk for $18 and I thought it was worth a try. Not worth a try. The first one fell apart in under 30 days. Though they have offered to refund my money, I am still giving this product a 1 b/c it's not worth your time to even bother with this product. I have to admit I am interested in the "no boil" but plan to just go back to previous brand (The Doctor's).

I'm 30 years old, and this product was WAY too big for my mouth. I just could not get it to fit right.

The first time I boiled it and put it in my mouth, I had to push the sides of it together to fit under my back teeth. Once it hardened, I still had to push the sides together in back. This motion caused the front of the mouth guard to flex forward, putting enormous pressure on the back of my front teeth, and it hurt my gums. It felt like I had braces again! It would not stay in my mouth at night either!

The second night, I re-boiled it. I put it straight into my mouth and bit down exactly where my teeth fell without flexing the guard. My molars sat halfway off the inside ridges of the guard. It hurt!

The worst was the third night, when I boiled the second guard. Again, I put it straight into my mouth, but this time I put my front teeth right up against the front of the tray so that my molars would fit into the more narrow part of the guard closer to the front. This product put so much pressure on my front teeth that when I woke up in the morning, not only did they hurt intensely, but I COULD ACTUALLY FEEL MY RIGHT FRONT TOOTH MOVE back into its normal place when I took the guard out!!!

If you have a small mouth, please do not use this product. It could seriously push your teeth out of alignment! This product is dangerous, and I really hope I am able to get a refund (NOT a replacement).

Now, I'm just trying to decide between DenTek's Comfort-fit dental guard (though I'm wary of using another DenTek product... what if this one is also too big or hurts my gums?) or Sleep-Right's Secure-comfort dental guard.

Want DenTek Custom Comfort Dental Guard, Twin Pack!, 2 ct. Discount?

I followed the fitting instructions exactly and couldn't not get any kind of solid fit. The material just didn't seem to be pliable enough to fit around my teeth and even with a very strong bite, did not form well. I'm getting a refund!

I'm so addicted and I used to be addicted to sodas 4-5 a day. Now I hardly ever drink it and only 2 cups of half caf/half decaf in the morning. This tea is amazingly delicious.

EYETALITY Total Eye Transformation Morning & Evening

EYETALITY Total Eye Transformation Morning & Evening
  • Helps diminish the look of lines and wrinkles around the eye area
  • Helps firm and tighten the look of skin
  • Helps diminish the look of under eye discoloration and puffiness
  • Helps thin lashes appear full and beautiful
  • Visibly transforms the look of skin surrounding the eyes

Very recently, I noticed that the skin around my eyes looked different. I had a lot of upper eyelid puffiness, which made me look sleepy and did nothing for my self esteem. I researched several products some uncomfortably pricey and carefully read reviews. I had almost decided to spend a chunk of money on one of those when I came across this product. At an average of one-seventh the cost of the other products, I thought I'd try this before committing to something much more expensive. Am I ever glad I did! I used the pm cream that night, and when getting ready the next morning I applied the am cream and examined the area, not really expecting to see any results after the first use. The results were IMMEDIATE. My upper eyelid puffiness was gone, and the creams are not greasy at all. I will happily recommend Eyetality to everyone I know.
