This definitley makes me feel better, but I often have better luck with magnesium glycinate or magnesium oil. This is just ME, though.
This definitely saved my sleep! I am pregnant with an extreme case of restless leg syndrome that was worst while lying in bed or when resting. I heard magnesium could help with that and it definitely helped me. I went from tossing and turning for four hours with no relief to sleeping through the night just fine. I have absolutely no trouble falling asleep at night. I take one pill in the morning and two before bed. I do not take them with my other vitamins as sometimes magnesium interferes with the absorption of other vitamins. I usually wait two hours between regular vitamins and the magnesium. This product definitely makes me more alert -like caffeine without the buzz. If I take it too late in the day, it keeps me awake at night.
But then I started to wonder why most forms of magnesium don't cross the blood-brain barrier. If my brain needs magnesium, it will let it in. I don't think I want to trick my brain into admitting a mineral it normally excludes.
I'm going to save the rest of my bottle for times when I absolutely have to be alert and caffeine isn't doing the job. Or until research is published that shows it's safe.
