Improve Your Golf Game! Subliminal CD - Improve Your Golf Skills - Naturally!!
I had not golfed in a month because of the weather here in Northern California and when I did I had the round of my life. Four under 68 which I have not done since I was a young man. I am 64 and if works for me, it will work for you.
I highly recommend this product if you are serious about improving your golf game. Jim"A golfing buddy told me about this CD. He said it helped him so I bought it. This CD has helped me take about 4 7 strokes off my game. Less slicing into the woods, and my putts seem to go right it at most any distance. I stress less about my game and enjoy it more. It says not to play it in the car while driving, so I listen to it at the office or before I go to sleep. If I feel my game start to slip a bit, I just listen to this CD a few times and it seems to come right back. Great stuff!!"

I have been at the dentist almost six months trying to get a night guard, but my experience was not good. So far, they have made three of them without any success. All of themstarted moving all my teeth and the biting started getting spoiled. On top of that, the cost of such night guard was U$ 340. I decided to give this one a try, and even though I had to try it twice, I finally could get the shape I needed. It is true that it is somewhat bulky and that sometimes it takes more than one to get it done well, bu it works MUCH BETTER than the one at the dentist office which is adjusted by the assistant, not the dentist and is also way much cheaper. It makes no sense at all to pay hundreds of dollars for just a piece of plastic that, as in my experience, does not work.My first night guard was the really expensive one from the dentist. It mysteriously disappeared one morning and I used a thicker, old-school whitening tray, until I could think of something else, because the one from the dentist just wouldn't stay in, so I didn't want to replace it. I later discovered the Doctor's Nightguard The Doctor's NightGuard Dental Protector for Night Time Teeth Grinding, Medium, 1 each and perfected how to make it fit me the best. They've since redesigned and I don't like the new design as muchDoctors Nightguard Mouth Piece, Small 1 Ea (ends up a bit bulkier feeling and less customizable), but I definitely prefer it to Splintek's.I tried the Splintek Sleep Right night guard and it is completely flimsy. I knew the moment I took it out of the box that it wouldn't stay in. It was more like a noodle, so I was amazed to go online and read great reviews for it. I knew it wouldn't stay, once I'd go to asleep. The thin part in the front has no rigidity of its own(as it appears to in the photo) and just flops around. There is nothing to prevent this from slipping to the outsides of the teeth, out of place or falling out of one's mouth. It's possible this might be good for someone who needs to prevent clenching when awake, but, like I said, there's no way this would stay in place in my mouth.
A better choice, in my opinion, is the Doctor's Nightguard, which sells for around $25 all over the internet. I've bought it at Walgreen's for $24.99. It comes in 3 different sizes. It took me bit of practice to get it right, but the company will mail you a new one if you mess yours up. I've seen some bad reviews for it--someone was appalled at the idea of sticking a boiling hot piece of rubber/plastic in their mouth and said they couldn't make much of an impression, but I follow the boiling instructions exactly and, surprisingly enough, that one second in cold water(after boiling, per the instructions) makes it more tolerable to me than Latte or a cup of tea(which I can't handle hot).
Some tricks to help in making it...I pull off the blue thing(on the older one) and throw it out, before I start. I just have to be extra careful to not bite using my teeth or I would bite right through while it's warm. I use my fingers to help form and also create suction using my mouth to form the sides. Then, if there's a lot of extra, I trim a bit and reboil for another 30 or 40 seconds, cool for one second by dunking in cold water and put it back in and create suction using my mouth and tongue to really form it to my teeth. This might all sound really strange and complicated, but, in all, the whole process takes me about 15 minutes and I do it about every 6-8 months, when I chew through one.
My husband prefers the somewhat bulky appearance of the night guard to the "horrendous" sound that my grinding makes(I have to believe him because I've never heard myself). Plus, I put it on after the lights are out and I'm ready to drift off--it's like a pacifier. It always stays in place, all night--no more headaches. I would highly recommend the Doctor's Nightguard!

I needed a whitening tray and decided to go with this model even though its meant for use as a grinding guard. I think it's a little expensive but if you can mold it right the first time (not sure if you can remold a second) it will not disappoint. I like this model because it has a solid bottom that you cannot bite through which is advantageous because I always end up biting through the cheap sports mouth guards. To properly mold this to your teeth and mouth you boil this in water as per instructions. I boiled a coffee cup of water in the microwave and dropped the NightGuard into the cup keeping it submersed for the entire recommended duration. Then I picked it out with a fork and dunked it...for only a brief moment, maybe one complete second....into a cup of cold water to dissipate the heat...don't worry, this will not harden the plastic. I put it in my mouth and bit down gently and molded it to my teeth by pushing the bottom up against my teeth and pushing the plastic upwards to cover my gums in front and behind my teeth onto my upper pallet. I waited momentarily and then placed the NightGuard into the cup of cold water again to allow it to harden.
If the plastic does not soften then you didn't use boiling water or didn't keep it in the boiling water long enough. Be mindful to keep it submerged for the recommended duration or just a little longer. Too long...i.e., 10 minutes...will cause the plastic to lose its basic shape and make the molding process more difficult; not long enough will not allow the plastic to get soft enough to mold. Submerging in cold water for a second will dissipate the heat and you wont be scalded when you put it in your mouth and it wont reharden the soft plastic either. Don't make the mistake of dunking in cold water for too long...one second will suffice.
In short, BOIL water...submerge for recommended duration... remove...dunk QUICKLY into cold water...remove and place into mouth and mold by biting down all the way against the bottom, then push and smooth out soft plastic over the gums and soft pallet...close mouth and gently suck to finish fitting...remove and put into cold water for hardening.
The instructions are very clear and easy to read. Follow them and you will have a perfect fitting mouth guard or tray for whitening your teeth...incidentally, I use 22% nitewhite ACP...works great...
I went into so much detail because some of the reviews obviously indicate that instructions were not followed...literally.

Dream Essentials Opulence Sleep Mask with Earplug Pocket and Earplugs, Plush Blue
UPdated review--January, 2013: this wonderful company sent me a new mask right after they saw my last review, what I was expecting. Love it and especially appreciate the customer service!I've tried plenty of eye masks out there and different styles from Dream Essentials (excellent company!) and I like this one more than any other kind. The main reasons: It doesn't let any light in at all and it provides a delicate amount of pressure on my eyes making it very soothing and comfortable. I tried a style of sleeping mask with cavities for your eyes so there would be no pressure on your eyes and it felt so awkward I couldn't stand it. This may not be the case for everyone, and if you're looking for pressure all around your eyes but not on your eyes then that's your preference. This mask is very well made and I even machine wash/dry mine about once a month and I've had my mask for 2 years. It's now ready to be replaced and I was foolish to try other masks which I just described, so I'm ordering this style again. Well worth it!

Kmart used to sell a mask like this about 5 yrs ago. It was my FAV. mask!!! it was only $6.99 and it was not has hard as this one. The material is soft to the touch but somehow it feels hard on your face. I wont be buying another one. I'm not sure what I'm going to do as all my masks are falling apart. I wouldnt spend the $$ on it. Just an FYIFrom a guys viewpoint.I've been using this sleep mask for many years now; I'm on my 4th one. It blocks light very well and helps a lot in the morning, as I'm a "light" sleeper.

I have a very difficult time sleeping and am very sensitive to light. This sleep mask was definitely very helpful! It is super comfortable and lets no light into my eyes. The straps are adjustable and stays secure on my face very well. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.Homedics SS-5010 Soundspa Premier Am/Fm Clock Radio
I have had two of these in the last week. The first one that I brought home wouldn't receive FM transmissions very well, the tuning wheel is not marked, so tuning is by guess and by golly. I managed to tune it by using a portable radio and getting matching stations. Once tuned, the display became a fascinating presentation of seemingly random numbers. The numbers are not the numbers of the tuned station and vary from 71.0 to 102.6. After a bit the numbers stabilize and the display returns to the time (which is accurate).
The second one seemed to be OK for tuning, that is the numbers were stable even though not the numbers to which it was tuned...today it began the random number generation that the first one had from the beginning. The FM signal fades in and out as you walk around the room.
The clock face is quite bright, but I tamed it with some widow tinting film. The projection of time and temperature is very bright and the light around its edges lights up the room like the full moon. It is bright enough to cast shadows. I tried various means to control the excess light (paper towel tubes, more window film, etc.) but nothing works. I really need a dark room when trying to sleep.
The unit is very light, and pushing any of the buttons on the front require that you hold it still; by doing this, you press one or more of the many buttons on the back which causes some interesting but unintended actions.
The sending and or receiving of the outside temperature is sporadic. Some times is will be off for a few hours and then redisplay; some times I must bring the sending unit into the house to get the display back (the sender is less than 20 feet away with only one wall between it and the base).
I really wanted to like this unit, it looks real nice and has many of the functions that I want...unfortunately it doesn't work very well...it goes back to Bed Bath and Beyond tomorrow...my search for the ideal projection clock continues. My wife got one of these by saving up gym reward points.
It has two settings for brightness which are "half the room is illuminated" and "the entire room is illuminated" I have to put a book in front of the thing some nights to sleep.
I played a game one month called "why didn't I wake up today" in which this clock was primary and my old free bank clock I've had for 20 years was secondary. Some highlights were:
Although the volume was up, something must have touched the knob because it was somehow off but touching it made it work.
No idea alarm was set, showed set, was awake and watched as the time went right on through and the alarm never went off.
The alarm just turned itself off one night.
The projection time and temp do not rotate 180 degrees this means that if you have the clock at the head of your bed facing you, and you for some reason want the info projected to your ceiling, well, it's going to be off.
The remote sensor sort of works... if the temperature is between 50 and 72 out you've got a good chance of it being right on. Outside of that range and you're screwed... woke up one day and it said it was 54, it was snowing. I put my hand where the sensor was outside and it was 20's at most. I looked at the sensor and it said somewhere around 30, the clock said 54, yeah, useful.
If the remote sensor is more than 8 feet away the thing will stop working in about a day
The sounds that this thing has are short-sequence loops, meaning you can predict exactly what the next sound will be after listening to it for a minute. This may not annoy you as much as it does me, but I need some randomness to my white noise, not repeating computer generated patterns.
The ideas here are good, but it's made cheaply, it doesn't properly function as an alarm clock (we have our phones set now all the time to wake us) that's about it. If you're considering purchasing one, I'd advise you didn't, but if you still want one contact me I'd love to see this thing go but the wife does not want it chucked.

I really liked the design and offered features. I gave it a month and had several issues.1. The display is very bright in a dark room.
2. The base and angles of the buttons are not stable. Every time you depress a button the clock slides.
3. The volume and radio tuner dials on the side are very sensitive. They move at the slightest touch.
4. The volume dial has spots where you completely lose any sound.

A friend gave me this for Christmas and I was really excited about getting it. I have almost all my life had a habit of going to sleep with the radio playing and then automatically going off. But now that I'm married my wife can't stand ANY sound as she goes to sleep. I was ready to see if some of the "nature" sounds might be something she could accept. Well, the she actually liked the sounds and I was happy with the radio reception and the different options for the two alarms (wake on beep, wake to radio, wake to sound) as well as the timer for turning it off automatically.But...I quickly found two horrible problems. One, the device too light and the buttons are positioned in such a way that to use them you have use two hands every time otherwise the you catch yourself pushing the thing all around the bedside table. Actually the only convenient button is the snooze button on the very top. Even the power button is unusable because you have to use one hand to stabilize it and the other to push.
Second, the display. Where the weight of the item was too "light" the display shines too much "light". I mean there is too much light. The first time I turned off the room lights I almost felt like I hadn't. There is almost enough light to read by. I have to turn the display away from facing me otherwise when I wake up at night to turn over or something else I'm blinded!! It's like there is a spotlight setting in one corner of the room. My wife gets up a lot to go to the bathroom and she would always turn on her bedside light but now she doesn't have too. (I'm not saying this is a good thing.)
Another issue is the projection clock. I've always dreamed of having a clock like this but I was so sad in the implementation. I would assume that the purpose of a projection clock is to make it convenient to remain on your back and look to the ceiling and see the time. But the way it's done the projection will only be behind the base clock or directly overhead of it. So, if I want to see the projection from where I am sleeping I have to turn towards the clock (and the blazing spotlight) itself and therefore don't need the projection. A big disappointment. :-(
To summarize, I really like what features are included but the design was probably never tested in real life to see how people would interact with it. As such I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

My wife bought one of these and when we got it set up I was glad she got it. At first I thought 'To much for a clock' but after seeing what it does I changed my mind. This thing is not just a clock but the sounds help also. Being a disabled Vet I'm in bed a lot and with this clock/sound/radio combo. I can tell what the weather out-side is and the sound of the 'Rain Forest' helps me sleep, the sound is so good I have to remember that we don't have a bird to feed. When she brought it home and I listened to the different sounds I picked the 'Rain Forest' and it is on All day and Night every day and night, we haven't turned it off since we've gotten it. It is so nice we looked all over town and not one store had one,and so I checked Amazon and found it so I got 1 for my Daughter and Son-n-Law and will give it to them for Christmas. They live in Washington State and I'm sure they will enjoy the sound of the Rain Forest also, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want to listen to the Rain but they will enjoy the sound of the birds. For the Money I'm think ing about getting another one for back-up.Mason Vitamins Relax & Sleep with A Natural Herbal Formula That Contains Valerian Root & Passiflora
Michaderm Natural Facial Moisturizer Night Time, Repair UV Damage, Minimize Pores & Deep Hydration,
Great Night Cream!
Another fantastic Michaderm product! The interesting thing about this night cream is that it really makes my skin super smooth and supple. I apply it before bedtime every day. By the next morning, my tired and dry skin feels so refreshed! I've been using this night cream for several months now. I clearly noticed that the wrinkles on my face look much less pronounced. I used La Mer's moisturizing cream. For a small fraction of the cost, it does even better job!
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
I don't know why I didn't buy this product sooner. I've always had a problem with my eyeshadow creasing not long after applying it. I have really oily eyelids, along with my forehead and nose. I would just reapply my eyeshadow and it just looked like a caked on mess.
I finally bought the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I am SO happy! To see a difference, I used the primer on one eyelid and none on the other. After only just three hours, the primerless eyelid was already creased and the shadow was fading. It looked terrible. How did I ever put up with this? The lid with primer was flawless! I checked every hour and it stayed put for over EIGHT hours! After about eight hours, the shadow did start to fade, but not as bad as the primerless eyelid. After 12 hours, I did notice a little creasing. I'm extremely satisfied with the results.
I know that the Urban Decay Primer Potion is really popular, so I got a small sample of it at Sephora to compare the two. Well, they were pretty much the same. The Too Faced did go on my eyelids more easily and it felt more silky. But the results were the same. Here's my opinion. With the Urban Decay, the bottle design is really stupid. In order to get all the product in there, you have to literally saw the bottle into three parts. Then you have to scoop out the remaining product and put it in jars. And even if you do get all the remaining product, there's a possibility that the product might dry out. Plus that doesn't sound hygienically safe. I say get the Too Faced because the tube is squeezable, allowing you to get all the product inside.
I really thought that this product wouldn't work. I was skeptical because my eyelids are so oily. I was pleasantly surprised and now I'm sold. This will be a staple in my beauty routine. Go get it!I absolutely love this primer! I have tried a few others (not naming any specifically) and this was hands down THE best. I work in a really stressful environment and routinely put in ten to twelve hour days and my eyeshadow and liner don't budge an inch. Seriously, they only come off when I clean my face at night with eye makeup remover. You cannot go wrong in purchasing this product.
Buy Too Faced Shadow Insurance Now
This past year I have become a bit of a makeup junkie, purchasing several high-end products for the very first time. Most of these purchases have been in the form of MAC eyeshadows, which retail for either $11.00 or $14.50 each (depending on whether you get them in a pan or a pot). Because I began spending so much on eyeshadow, I wanted to make sure that it would not fade or crease throughout the day. I was getting recommendations for both Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion, but because they are the same price and have equally favorable reviews, I went with the less complicated packaging and chose Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Overall, I give TFSI a rating of 4. Not only is the tube super convenient, but the product sticks to its promise of prolonging the wear of eyeshadow by preventing creases/fading. And for those of you who are wondering, this product isn't just designed for higher-end shadows. Many of my drugstore shadows display an increase lasting power and become super blendable when applied over a thin layer of this. And because TFSI is tinted, it also evens out eyelid discoloration and makes the eyes look a bit brighter. Sometimes, if I do not feel like putting on eyeshadow, I will just apply a small bit of this to make me look more awake--it's a bit like foundation, but with a MUCH thinner consistancy and only for your eyelids. Because a little goes a long way (you will only need a small dot about half the size of the head of thumbtack), TFSI lasts for awhile. I have had mine for four months, and even though I use it up to twice a day, the tube is still very full and shows no obvious signs of heavy usage. However, though my rating is positive on the whole, I do have one complaint. Whether this is the fault of the company, just a faulty product, or due to improper storage I am not certain, but my tube of Too Faced Shadow Insurance often gets very watery. There have been many times (at least once or twice a week) when I go to squeeze on the tube and only a clear, watery liquid comes out. A second squeeze usually warrants better results, but I find this kind of annoying for such a pricey product. As I said, this may be totally my fault (though I store my makeup in a pretty normal environment), but I had to deduct a rating point regardless. Even though I have put it on my to-do list to try out Urban Decay Primer Potion, I will most definitely repurchase this. Afterall, why mess with a (99.98%) perfect thing?I have been using Too Faced Primer for quite a while and immediately I noticed the tube and packaging is slightly different. The next thing I noticed is that the smell, color, and texture are all different. You guessed it, this primer did nothing to keep my eye makeup from creasing and wearing off.I seriously question whether the tube I received is actually Too Faced eye-shadow primer. I got this because I bought a Too Faced eye-shadow pallet and I had used a sample of this I got from Sephora that worked really well. The full size one I bought here doesn't work AT ALL, after only a couple hours all my eyeshadow is in the crease of my eye. I have the Urban Decay in Greed (its shimmery) and I love it so I think I'm just going to make the trip to Sephora and buy a tube of that in the original Potion shade for when I don't want my eye-shadow to be iridescent. I am absolutely returning this for a full refund and I won't be trusting this seller ever again.Flents Siesta Mask #404
So, why only 3 stars? Because a few months after I bought it, something strange happened: the elastic straps on the mask began wearing away. And I mean really wearing away; when touched, the straps left a dark, sticky mess on my fingers that was very difficult to remove. It stained so badly, there's even traces of it still on my pillowcase, several months after I got rid of the horrid mask.
So, basically: if you're looking for a cheap sleep mask you're only going to use a little bit, go ahead. If you want something that will last, look for something else, because if you keep using it, it WILL stain.I couldn't do without these. Other eye masks, including the easier-to-find (in drugstores) yet pricier Flents "Sleep Mask," are less comfortable than the Siesta. They are harder, let more light in, and don't form a soft, comfortable quailty feeling over the eyes. I'm so glad the Siestas are easy to find online, because they went from hard-to-impossible to find in retail stores years ago.
In maybe one in five of the Siestas I will find that one of the straps snap off almost immediately. And another occasional problem (rarely seen lately) is getting a mask that seems to be missing the cushiony feeling, i.e., it seems krinkly. BUT despite these occasional issues this is still a great and economical product, especially given that you can buy a big supply for a great price at an Amazon merchant (just beware of those merchants that have a supposedly lower price, but are in reality outrageously-priced on multi-unit orders because they add a separate $5-$7 shipping dollar for EACH mask!).
When the mask straps start loosening, as they will do after awhile, the easy solution is to simply create a little knot in each strap, and voila -snug, soft and comfortable again (since I'm not at home as I write this is forget whether that solution is explained in the instructions).

With most products being digital anymore, there is way too much light in my bedroom for deep sleeping. Finally decided to try sleeping with a eye mask. This mask by Flents is extremely light weight, stays in place even after tossing & turning during the night & doesn't seem to cause any uncomfortable pressure for me. The price is certainly right plus the mask is washable.I find my sleep is more restful because I have blocked out all indoor & exterior lighting that was visible during the night. I have bought these more than a few times from the local pharmacy, when I finally realized the web would have some that might last over a week or 2. These are very poorly made, must of cost like 50 cents to make, and that is stretching it. Save yourself the aggravation, spend a little more and get a mask that will last a while. If you don't expect too much, the Siesta Mask is fantastic. It's dark enough (although not completely black) and is comfortable to wear. However I've only had it for a couple of months and one of the straps is already broken. It can be sewed back on though.

I really loved this mask. I keep all lights out from my eyes helping me sleep longer and better. The cooling pack didn't really stay cold long but it wasn't really necessary for me. It was great until the cushion things around the eyes fell off at that point they didn't really work as well. Still a great product and I would buy it again. This mask blocks out all light, and is very comfortable to wear. I've never had more vivid dreams than when I wear this mask, due to deeper sleep. Something about the little sewn-in pillows for under the eyes makes this mask sooo cozy. I also bought one for my husband, who at first protested wearing one, but now I can't rip it off him. I highly recommend this particular mask if you need to block out daylight, or have trouble falling asleep.Hearos Ultimate Softness Series Ear Plugs, 14 Count
Pros
Block out most background noise
Easy to insert
Can be worn comfortably for many consecutive hours
Super soft
I use these for about 8 hours per night, for around 4 straight nights Per pair
Excellent for those who sleep on their sides These are long ear plugs, but they are easily trimmed with scissors. Thus, how much they stick in/out of your ears can be easily adjusted.
Amazon has them for cheap In stores, however, they are usually much more expensive. For example, $6 for 14 pairs, or $4 for 4 pairs. Good luck trying to find a 20 pair pack.
Even at store prices, they are worth the money.
I have been using them for over a year and a half I have had no ear pain and no ear problems However, like with all ear plugs, they can make the insides of your ears itch, sometimes. This happens infrequently.
Cons
None Use them with care and they are exceptional.
Do not block out loud high pitch sounds However, this is a con with earplugs of this type (foam) Thus, it is not a weakness of this particular brand.I have had some trouble getting some other foam ear plugs to squeeze and roll down well enough to get them properly inserted to really stop noise. I use these at the gun range as a supplement to over ear and always keep them with me for travel on planes and hotel rooms.

I bought a pack similar to these in walgreens for the same price that amazon gives you two packs!!One note, and the ONLY reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because although they block out a LOT of the noise and you can sleep comfortably at night there are some out there that have a rating of blocking out 33 NRR (block out slightly more noise). These I found to be bigger and and fit more snugly in my ear (If it helps, they are blue...Walgreens sells them, but each box has less than what one of the boxes in this pair has..)
The Hearos are small and they hide inside your ear (which can be a plus depending on how you use them)--being skin colored makes them almost unnoticeable unless your up close.
I recommend these to anyone with noisy neighbors.
Etude House Sleeping Facial Pack (Pore Tightening) 120 ml (4.06 oz)
Kind of moisturizes your face. Kind of.
Smells very alcoholic... since there's a ton of alcohol. Be careful.
Kind of sticky when you first put it on.
I've been using it for a few months = no long term effects.
Kind of broke me out = not for people with sensitive skin.
): I expected more out of an Etude House product. What a disappointment. Whoever is reading this review, you should take a look at Tonymoly's stuff instead, its pricer, but it works better.I like this product because when you put it on your skin, your skin feels cool and smooth but it did not tighten up my pores :/
