Tidy Tubing Coiled Self Storing Oxygen Line

I use this with my portable oxygen concentrator, and it works great. It does not tangle at all and has a secure clip to fasten it to clothing. I use liquid O2 at home and prefer to use the long trailing tubing with that. The tidy tube IS very expensive, so I hope it holds up as long as the manufacturer claims.

My 83 yo father had about 30-40 feet of oxygen tubing so that he could move through out the first floor of his house. I observed that his feet became tangled when walking. I bought two Tidy Tubing lines and my brother ordered one for a total of 45 feet. However, my father says the tubing is closer to 30 feet, but he loves it. It was simple enough for him to put together. Tidy tubing is the best product out there, it extends when he walks and retracts when he goes back to his recliner. The other optionusing a retractable wheel at $399.00, was unappealing

No-Jet-Lag - 32 - Tablet

I'm in my late 20s and generally suffer from horrendou jetlag that lasts weeks and profoundly disrupts my sleep and wake patterns. I used these pills on a 12 hour trans-Atlantic flight, and I will use them again on the return trip. At roughly $7 and even with addtional s/h, these pills as sold by this seller are noticeably cheaper than if you buy them in the store. I had a pleasant flight and recovered from jetlag faster than usual, and they at the very least, do not hurt you or mess up your rhythm when you follow the instructions. I recommend them to anyone who wants an edge up during long flights.

I do have to add though, that my flight was unusually comfortable since it was half full I got my own middle row on a newly outfitted Singapore Airlines plane. I also was using an anti-germ/virus spray as well as anti-sickness vitamin pills (the effervescent kind created by a teacher), and I also brought and drank 2 liters of my own water onto the plane, in addition to the many cups of water I was served.

I slept VERY well on the flight, I thought the pills gave me more energy while also making me more relaxed. I forgot my last dosage when I landed, but again, my jet lag did not feel nearly half as bad as usual and I recovered from it much faster than usual.

If you are truly serious about beating jet lag, you will probably want to incorporate these pills into a larger program (like I did) but the pills on their own do give you a noticeable effect.

I found these in my local luggage store for almost twice as much as this Amazon seller. I used it on a 12 hour flight across several time zone. Usually my jet lag on this flight is horrible, so I went a little overboard by using this 'No Jet Lag' as well as a 'No Germs/Viruses' spray (sold in a convenient security approved tiny spray bottle) as well as those 'No Sickness' effervescent tablets created by a teacher I additionally brought and drank 2 liters of my own bottled water in addition to the many cups of water on the flight.

Good points about the RevitaLift wet cleansing towelettes: 1) Stay moist in packet. 2) Easy to pull out from packet. 3) Nice moisturizing action without greasy feeling.

Drawbacks: 1) Scent alert! If you cannot walk down the detergent aisle at the supermarket or through the perfume section in a department store without getting a headache, beware. 2) Removes make-up at upper surface level. Not good for deep cleaning. 3) The price: before shipping, we're looking at a lot for a supply of towelettes that will barely last a month. Not sure if this is safe around eyes, so I also purchased the other version that specifies it is okay to use around eyes, which doubles the cost per use.

I have long, fine hair that tends to get dry. Only recently have I been really committed to keeping my hair healthy; I want to try growing my hair out really long! I use frequent deep conditioners, leave-in treatments and try to use heat-stylers as infrequently as possible. Not gonna lie, this product got my attention because of Evangeline Lily (I'm a big Lostie!) I thought I'd give the shampoo and conditioner a try, and they were ok, but not the best. THIS, however! If you are trying to give your hair a big boost of moisture and health, do yourself a favor and give the overnight treatment a try. Here were the best things I noticed about it:

1. My ends felt so soft and healthy after one night that I changed my mind about needing to go for a haircut. If you're trying to grow out your hair, you want to get as few cuts as possible, right? Here you goadd a few months of growing between cuts.

2. My hair actually felt heavier, even after washing and drying the next day. I could literally tell the difference in moisture absorbed by weight! It meant a noticeable difference in flyaways, and my fine hair still felt styled hours after I was done drying it.

3. I was very skeptical about how a product this intense wouldn't feel oily, but it really doesn't. I put the product in my hair a few hours before bed, but it was totally absorbed in minutesa little bit of a "gunked up" feeling while the product was actually on, but not oily. I just put my hair in a braid to keep it out of the way, and to not feel 'unbathed.'

I will say that you'll probably need more than the recommended 1-2 pumps. My hair is long enough that I can tuck it under my arms, and I use between 6-8 pumps. Otherwise, nothing but good to say about this awesome product! Enjoy your new hair!

I admit I purchased this product to try out and didn't have super high expectations despite the reviews. I tried it the first night expecting that it would be greasy, leave residue on my pillow, make me uncomfortable while I slept and then disappoint me in the morning. Boy! Was I in for a NICE surprise! I purchased and started using this approximately 3 weeks ago. I apply it every night before going to bed. The results have been spectacular. I had a bad hair dye incident a few months ago which resulted in lots of split ends and breakage. After using this product I find that I have less split ends and my hair is a lot smoother. I have long, fine hair that was once very thick. Due to improper hair care, and bad hair habits I tend to "shed" a lot. I purchased this product hoping it would help with the split ends I have because of over use with heated styling tools. Although it has not helped my split ends, it has made my hair look very shiny and munch more manageable in the mornings. Additionally my hair is shedding less.

I have a VERY difficult time working this through my hair to get an even application on split ends and damaged hair. The product tends to glob and concentrate in certain sections, which does not allow for easy or even treatment of the effected areas.

I was a classic too-manly-for-hair-care male until I recently resolved (out of either vanity or self-respect, or maybe both) to start attending more carefully to my health/appearance/grooming. Hair is, of course, at the front line of that battle, so I interrogated some professional hair people and did some Internet browsing and learned that hair care is only partly a matter of what products you use. Healthy hair is also the result of things like drinking water and eating right and avoiding excessive sun or heat. Hair is, in fact, the most reliable indicator of whether a person is healthy. (See the Wikipedia page on "hair care," for starters.) And I learned that when it comes to hair products, I should look for ones that say "hydrating." (This as opposed to "moisturizing," which merely gives the appearance of hydration.) That's because hydrated hair is pretty much what healthy hair *is.*

I then spent a decent (if not ridiculous) amount of time browsing Amazon's hydrating hair products and reading the reviews, and then I experimented with 5 different, relatively inexpensive products.

The bottom line is that none of the 5 products are magical but I have noticed a mild to moderate improvement in shine, darkness, and thickness. (If you have recommendations for a near-magical product, I'm counting on you to let me know.) Given what I've seen from the different products, I will probably settle into a routine of using a small amount of the Frieda shampoo and conditioner daily, and then using an overnight treatment maybe once a month (but probably not this one).

That doesn't mean I recommend (or don't) any of these products for you. Another thing I learned while researching hair is that we are all unique little flowers with very different filaments on our noggins that respond differently to different things. So rather than recommending a particular product, I recommend that you do some trials and see what works for you.

Below is a detailed review of each product.

* L'Oreal EverStrong Overnight Treatment (My rating: 2.5 stars) (Current price: $1.76/ounce) I have only used it a few times but haven't noticed anything magical. You apply it to dry hair at night, work it through the ends, and then sleep with your hair in a mildly goopy state. I didn't check carefully, but I would be surprised if your hair doesn't leave a mark on your pillowcase. And it takes a lot of goop, even for a guy with reasonably short hair like me. Maybe it would be worth it if it gave my hair a brilliant luster or thickness, but it doesn't seem to do much at all, at least not above what the shampoo and conditioner are already doing. I am unlikely to get it again.

* John Frieda Frizz-Ease Shampoo (4.3 stars) ($0.60/ounce) It works noticeably better than my old shampoo (Aussie Smooth). With this shampoo, my hair stays wet after a shower about 40% longer and it retains a subtle moisture all day. After a shower, when I comb my wet hair, I can hardly even feel it because there is so little resistance against the comb. In other words, my hair becomes a weird combination of wet and airy. The shampoo seems to work best when I leave it in for a minute or two before rinsing. I only need to use about a nickel-sized amount (I have medium-to-shaggy hair). It has a scent that is a little too much like a household cleaning product, but it's a faint smell and goes away after the shower.

* John Frieda Frizz-Ease Conditioner (3.8 stars) ($0.54/ounce) If the shampoo does most of the moisturizing "work," then the conditioner seems kind of like the sealant to lock it in and protect it all day, and to make your hair more "manageable." This conditioner does that job well enough but I only use a little bit of it because it makes my hair a little too helmet-y for my liking. Maybe you like that from a conditioner--I don't. I prefer that my hair move in the breeze. This conditioner would probably have a more desirable effect for people with long (at least shoulder-length) hair. As for the scent, I would describe it as "neutral."

* L'Oreal Everstrong Conditioner (3.2 stars) ($0.66/ounce) This seems to have the same effect as the Frieda conditioner, except that it makes my hair even slightly more helmet-y. Also, it has an initially-strong scent that faintly lingers in my hair all day, even when I only use a dime-sized amount. It's a smell that I would describe as endurable but not pleasant.

* Paul Mitchell leave-in conditioner (3.0 stars) ($1.03/ounce) My second-biggest complaint with this product is that it is sort of annoying to apply after the shower, you have to dab a few blotches of it onto your damp hair and then brush it through. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem to be doing anything beyond what the other conditioners do. It works well enough and makes my hair nice and dark and helmet-y but so do the other conditioners. Plus, I don't think it's doing much to make my hair healthier because you only apply it to the end of the hair and not to the scalp. That means it also requires a good amount of the blue gel to work it through all of your hair.

P.S. Many of these same products are probably available at your local Wal-Mart (or whatever), and probably for a 10-25% lower price.

P.P.S. A couple years ago, I experimented with using no hair products at all... for months. I had read some caveman-y theories about how hair products damage our hair because they crowd out the natural moisturizing chemicals and blah blah. All I can say is that it didn't work for me. It's true that my hair during those months was surprisingly less nappy and gross than I expected, and it's maybe even true that the artificial chemicals we put on our scalps have some serious, unwelcome consequences, but all I can say is that I much prefer how my hair looks and feels after it's been shampooed, to the point that I'm willing to take whatever risks those chemicals may pose.

I was so sad to see that these have been discontinued. They worked wonders for my husband's snoring. We didn't know what to do, but I managed to get a hold of the ingredient list for this and similar products, as well as a couple of research papers discussing the treatment of snoring with essential oils (those are the active ingredients in this!), and I came up with my recipe, which has actually been working better than this, if such a thing is possible:

Wintergreen Oil 1 oz EssOil: 6 drops

Peppermint Oil 4 oz.: 3 drops

NOW Foods Clove Oil, 2 ounce: 4 drops

NOW Foods Anise Oil, 1 ounce (Pack of 2): 2 drops

I put all of this in a 2 oz. spray bottle. Just 15 drops! The stuff is concentrated! NOW Foods Glycerine Vegetable, 16-Fluid Ounces and Listerine were used for the rest of it. 1/3 glycerin and 2/3 Listerine. Mix it all up, and spray 4-6 times as tolerated at the back of the throat before going to sleep.

I'm so sad that this stuff has been discontinued, but at least Amazon had all the stuff I needed to make my own!

I would never order this product through Amazon or Drug Store Liquidators ever again. The product is fine, but I was cheated on the order. I ordered 1 5 pack of the product for around $65.00. However, I only received 1 bottle of the spray and both Amazon and Drug Store Liquidators said I only ordered the one. I did not keep the order that I got when I ordered it because I trusted them and I had ordered before. I did a formal complaint with both Drug Store Liquidators and Amazon and they said I was not cheated. When I ordered there were many options depending on how many you wanted. I know I ordered 5, but they said I didn't. Why in the world would I pay $65.00 for 1 bottle of the spray? I got no satisfaction out of either Amazon or Drug Store Liquidators. In fact, in one of the emails from Drug Store Liquidators, they said "Be a Man and accept the fact that you are wrong". I will never purchase anything through either one of them again. I seldom write reviews for anything less than three stars. The way I see it, if it is not worth 3-5 stars, then it is not worth taking the time to write up a review. Of course, that is because I mainly do book reviews and if the story is not worthy of a three plus rating, then I simply would stop reading. In the case of Breathe Right's Snore Relief Throat Spray, I can give a full review on the product because my spouse and I tried/tested it for over seven full nights. Our conclussion is that this product does absolutely zero good. The product sounds great on the package though. It warns to spray thirty minutes before bed and not to eat or drink once you have used the spray. From what I gather, this is to keep the throat moist and the airways open to reduce the snore sounds. But it failed our week-long test.

The nasal strips by Breathe Right work wonderfully at keeping the sinus airways wide for easier breathing; however, you MUST place the strips on the exact spot, the area covered by the strip may get raw, and when you take the strips off your nasal passages are worse than before you put the strips on. But at least you will have been able to breathe in your sleep.

i am a type 2 diabetic. I work in hospitals. On some of my assignments, there were no breaks for small meals, or the ability to have water in our vicinity. I have no reason to endorse anybody and I normally do not right a review on something unless I feel that it is truly called for to serve the product justice. All that being said here is my review of the Contour Back Max Pillow Wedge System with Built in Massage 28" model.

First my back story. I am a 34 year old man who is 6' 2" and weights in at 250lbs. of which about 20% of that is body fat. I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) since I was 15 and for those of you who do not know what that is I will explain. It is a type of rheumatoid arthritis that affects the spine of the low back and hips. It can skip around and affect other parts of the spine including the cervical. It can also be radial affecting the peripheral joints of the body. There is a whole range of other symptoms associated to this horrible disease and there are different levels of it that range from mild to severe. I am on the severe end of the spectrum so you name off anything that is associated with it and I have experienced that on some level. I am fortunate enough however to be blessed with a drug called Enbrel which does slow the progress of the disease and even makes me a fully functioning part of the workforce. I am able to work full time as a Computer Repair Technician. I can even go to the gym and workout to keep myself in shape.

Everything in my sleeping habits had been great until about a year and a half ago or so when I suddenly noticed that I was losing circulation in my body. If I laid on my right side I would lose circulation in that side of my body and if I laid on my left the same. If I laid flat on my back I would lose circulation in my entire body including my head. As soon I would move to readjust the blood flow would just start rushing. I could even feel it rushing up into my head. Something is getting pinched off somewhere in my spine obviously and I don't know where but would ultimately like to get to the bottom of it. I also have been awaking every morning with intense pain right in the mid section of my back. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being bad the pain is a 10-12. It makes it to where I am so uncomfortable that I have no choice but to get up for the day after only about 5-7hrs of sleep. It literally feels as though somebody jerked a knot in my spine. I have discovered that if I sleep in a reclined position that I don't lose the circulation nearly as bad as I do sleeping in any other position and can actually sleep 8-10 hours if I choose to in that position. Also the pain isn't there as bad in the mid back like it normally is in that position. Now onto what I want to say about this wedge pillow system.

First off I would like to say "WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!". From night one I have not awoke in the morning with that horrible pain in the middle of my spine. Despite of what others are saying about how comfortable it is I believe that it is very comfortable. My wife and kids love it too. My wife actually wants me to get her one now. I do still get a loss of circulation but not nearly as bad as when I sleep in the recliner or elsewhere. I am sleeping much better now thanks to this system and actually awake feeling well rested and can even go back to sleep and sleep in if I would like to. The poofy dark bags under my eyes are all but gone and I have only been sleeping on this thing for about 5 nights now. Here are the pros and cons that I see with this system:

1. Pros: Comfortable, sleep deeper and longer, awake feeling rejuvenated and reenergized. The 28" model is definitely worth the extra cash because I couldn't see how I would on anything smaller and even if I did I would have no place to rest my arms. These also double as a way of trying new sexual positions with your partner. They give you some new and fun angles to work with.

2. Cons: It does take a little getting use to the ideal of sleeping on it. Also it is not really one size fits all when zippered together. My wife is 5' 3" and can easily use it all zipped together but I can not. I have to separate the top and mid sections about 3-4 inches so that the mid section properly cradles my legs. The built in massage is worthless. It just vibrates of course but you can barely feel it. Doesn't waste the 8 AA batteries on it. The neck pillow is comfortable but not really needed so I don't use it.

I closing I would just like to say that they should take out the vibration function and keep the neck pillow and drop the price to 199.99. I am sure that they would sell a hell of a lot more of them if they did. Anyone who suffers from any type of back pain just needs to try this. It works for me and maybe it can for you too.

Beware of Contour Products and the Back Max system!

First the product itself:

It is not suited to someone over the height of about 5'7". Although the pieces to separate (by zippers), if you do that, the slippery nature of the fleece cover slides all over the place, so you're basically forced to leave them zipped together, and then the dimensions are too small for someone of higher than average height.

The foam out of which the pillows are constructed is SO hard, it is actually painful to lay on for more than a few minutes.

Because of the dimension of the box in which the product comes, it's the volume equivalent of approximately 82Lbs. That means shipping charges of $60 via the post office and just slightly less with UPS.

Second return policy and customer service:

1). Return policy is WAY down on the bottom of their webpage, very easy to miss.

2). To return the product requires a Return Authorization.

3). When you request the return authorization, they inform you there is a 20% restocking charge for `used' items.

4). The address on their website is not a UPS verified, and instead of informing of the appropriate address, Customer Disservice keeps sending crip-to-grams till finally you have the correct address.

5). When you ship the item back, a week goes by, with no word and no credit for the return.

6). When you ask where the credit is, you're informed that `We have a 30 day return policy. Since the product is used, it has been disposed of, we don't have a record of your credit card number, and there will not be a refund coming'.

Save yourself grief and a LOT of money. DO NOT BUY from Contour Products.

My husband has a degeneration of his vertebrae at L5, S1, and we thought this product would help him sleep through the pain. It was plenty wide for him, 6'4" and 250lbs, but so short in the back wedge part (the part you need), that it was uncomfortable even for me @ 5'9". The product itself took a week longer to ship than projected when I ordered, and was relatively crappy for the money. What Amazon doesn't list on this site is the 20% restocking fee involved in returns, plus paying for shipping it back. The customer service at Contour was non-existent, and will get you no where. I feel 'taken' by them, that they would sell a product with misleading information on Amazon.

I bought this wedge system because i snore and have sleep apnea. I could not stand the face mask of the CPAP machine, but when I sleep in a recliner I get a great nights rest. The contour beds are probably $3000 so this was cheaper attempt allow me to sleep in bed and get a good nights rest.

I'm a big guy. Not very tall but big boned LOL... This is widest wedge system I could find and I was worried it wasn't wide enough when I ordered it, but that wasn't the case at all. Its plenty wide and supports me just fine. Its not a flat wedge if that makes sense. There is a slight lumbar support portion to it that hits your back just right.

The one problem I did have was when the 2 sections are attached its a bit too small for me. I'm actually too tall for it, or it just not made for my body type. Not sure where the problem lies. An easy fix would be if the offered an section of material to zip in to lengthen the unit. I just took off the bottom section all together and it works great.

The foot portion at the bottom was not useful to me at all. It must be for some problem I am not aware of. ???

My back has always needed better support while in bed doing the above mentioned activities, and I'm incredibly happy that I now have a cushion system that fits my needs. The price is very reasonable for the quality of this product, and I shall continue to use it and sing its praises.

I am 5' 8" and the cushion system at first seemed a little short, then we looked at the manual again and realized that he whole system is customizable. After that we unzipped the middle of the cushion system and lengthened the two parts far enough for desired comfort, and viola! This system was designed for every aspect of the human body, so take your time and get familiar with its versatility.

UltraSling II - Shoulder Immobilizer

Post-op Right Rotator Cuff Repair and was told I have to wear a sling for six weeks. After two weeks I'm finally getting use to my new "friend", but this was after a few modifications to the original model.

I suggest going to an auto store and buying a seat belt padding for the strap around the neck. Real sheep hide is the best, but the synthetic is just as good. It adds extra padding and comfort. Next the strap that supports the foam pillow that goes around your waist. Eventually it will start cutting into your side with wear. Go to Home Depot or a fabric store and get some velco and build it up. This will stop the cutting into your sat night while you try to sleep upright. As for the little red ball do with it what you want. It's annoying and the other mods would help those of us who are required to wear this thing for six weeks.

After all is said and done this sling provides excellent protects for my shoulder.

i'm using this sling after rotator cuff surgery. It's been nearly three weeks of six. I find it very comfortable. I've had no problem with the neck strap. Of course it's awkward in bed. I've been mostly sleeping in a recliner. The ball is detachable. Everything is velcroed together so it is infinitely adjustable. It looks good too. I wish I knew if the sling part is washable because it gets very sweaty with a little exercise. Over all I can't imagine a better sling.

This is in response to the reviewer's suggestion to put vaseline in your nose instead of this product. You can not buy the Ayr products, I don't care, but don't use vaseline instead it can get into your lungs and cause a respiratory problem, lipoid pneumonia. Run a web search for "vaseline in nose" and you'll pick up plenty of articles. And the vaseline package specifically warns against putting it in your nose.

Before finding Ayr Gel I would get daily nosebleeds no matter what I would do during the winter. Tried humidifying the air at home, but the dryness outside and at work were enough to cause at least two bleeds per day. I didn't want to stick Vaseline or vicks up my nose because I hear that causes more problems with the petroleum. And using nasal sprays too much will rot out your passages because they constrict the vessels and limit blood flow. I was contemplating getting a cauterization procedure done because the bleeding was so bad and embarrassing.

Thank goodness I found this gel that can be applied in the nose. I did find that the way you apply it makes a big difference. Best way is just to take a 3/4 rice grain size dab on the tip of your finger and wipe it right in the entrance of your nose. Then massage the outside of each nostril to spread it all over the inside evenly. It lasts all day unless you have a runny nose and are blowing all the time. If you just stick the dab way up in your nose it doesn't get spread around and you'll likely just blow it out nor cover everything that needs to be protected.

Once I got this figured out I have not had ANY bleeds by applying the gel just once a day (in the morning).. I am truly amazed it has worked as well. No more having to carry a wad of kleenex around in my pockets!

I have noticed that if I let the tube get dirty or gunked up, the gel starts to burn a little when applied, so keeping it clean is essential. I average about one tube per 2-3 weeks from November to March. Obviously in my case a few bucks is worth not bleeding to death every day!
