When I first opened it, I thought the fabric and material seemed too thin so it wouldn't aid much in blocking out sunlight. However it worked just perfectly and I have napped many times without being woken up by a bright room. Also, I like the two elastic loops for both ears rather than one long string that wraps around your head. it's easy to adjust and doesn't irritate that much when laying down.I took off one star though because the design was slightly crooked and not centered.

I started using Aveeno products from a sample given me by dermatologist. I quickly saw that it did more for me than the very expensive department store brands. This product is very good at firming. I mistakenly bought the brightening cream the last time which was not what I needed at age 68. My skin now looks decades (no kidding) younger after using Aveeno moisturerizers for a couple of years and I'm proud to leave the house with no foundation and rake in the compliments.

Aveeno Eye Cream is everything that I've been looking for, and it's roughly 1/4 the price of each of the 10 jars/bottles of fancy eye creams/gels I already have in my drawer! I've always been a fan of Aveeno. I typically use their body lotion and face wash Those are two staples in my routine that I refuse to change I just love those products, so, I thought, why not try the eye cream? It already had great reviews, so why not.
I've been using this eye cream for 1 month straight every night! I've noticed a huge difference in the area around my eyes. First, it feels GREAT when you put it on It's a creamy, thick lotion that absorbs into the skin and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It instantly starts to firm the skin around the eye, but not to the point where it feels drying.
My results have been stellar. In the mornings, I wake up with no puffiness, no dark circles, the fine lines at the corner of my eyes are disappearing, and I even think my eyes look brighter and younger! My concealer usage below my eyes has drastically reduced, because I honestly don't need it anymore! crazy! I truly believe this will be a new staple in my nightly routine! It's a wonderful product at a great price!I do not want to say this is an awful product because it seems to help so many others, but I have been using it for about a week now and the skin around my eyes is getting progressively dryer. I noticed yesterday that the skin below my eyes was red and slightly swollen, almost like a mild burn. Today, it feels like crepe paper, and my skin actually looks older and more wrinkled than before (I am hoping this goes away). Since this is the only thing I have put on that area, I am going to assume I am allergic. My dark circles looked really bad, no matter how much sleep I got, they wouldn't go away. I tried cocoa butter, I tried cucumbers, I tried a frozen spoon...lol, all that crap, and still the dark circles were there. Just 1 week with this Aveeno cream, and I look like a teenager[well I was just a teenager a few years ago so that's not saying much] but you get the point, I look younger now. My friend, who doesn't know what I use, he noticed something different with my face[this guy is my best childhood friend and my biggest critic ever he notices everything] even thought I had put on something on my face to make it whiter, he was confused trying to figure out what was different, he noticed something different but he couldn't tell that it was just that my dark circles are gone so my face looks fresher and younger. Well that's about it, I highly recommend this eye cream for any one suffering from dark circles. I'm going to buy more soon, this cream is officially part of my daily routine, i'm never gonna stop using it.I've used some very expensive eye creams and this Aveeno product works just as well AND doesn't burn when a little finds its way into my eyes. I read where shitake mushrooms were great for anti-wrinkles, googled it and this product popped up. Glad it did, saves you money compared to the luxury creams and IMO works great.

Don't think the design is that great and doesn't give me that much more open passage. Wouldn't buy it again. I'll stick to the nasal strips until I find something that can help. It also tends to hurt a bit on the septum after wearing this for a few hours.
Tranquil Moments Sleep Sound Therapy System
I've been sleeping with ambient noise for decades and when I'm at home I use either an air purifier or a box fan to create ambient noise that helps me sleep (I'm a tinnitus sufferer). I purchased this product from Brookstone years ago so I could travel with something that creates ambient noise (ever attempt to pack a box fan in a suitcase?). The problem with most noise machines like this one, is that the sounds are on a loop i.e. a 30-second long noise sample that's looped together to create a constant sound. If you play the 'rain' sample on this product, or the 'white noise' sample (two of the primary ones for sleep mode)there's a high pitched sound that cuts into the sample at a certain point in the loop so every 30 seconds or so you'll hear a distinctive high pitched squeaking noise cut through the relaxing sounds. What happens is that your ears pick up the high pitched sounds on a rhythmic basis and can make sleeping difficult, if not impossible.If you're purchasing this to travel, you might be better off arriving to your hotel, calling housekeeping, and having them deliver a box fan to your room (most hotels have them for this very purpose).
Even at its LOWEST setting the light is WAY too bright. I refuse to own a sleep machine where I have to place it face down on the floor to keep the light from keeping me awake!

it is calming and the soft glow soothes me. My favorite is the ocean waves. I have it on
all night. Have not even tried the other ones, but listened to them shortly just to hear
what they sound like. I know some of them I would not use...but we'll see.

I purchased this sound machine a couple of years ago to help drown out city street noise. Initially, I was very happy with this product. The product seems well made, is attractive, and has a great rubber-like texture. As several mentioned, the light is VERY bright so I also turned the machine toward the wall, which worked fine. I chose the sound I wanted and had it on every night for months. Everything was great until it began malfunctioning. One night while I was sleeping there was a loud pop sound, which woke me up with a start, and the machine shut off. I turned it back on without a problem and went back to sleep. Over the next few months the machine popped (and woke me up) and turned itself off with increasing frequency. Finally I had to stop using it as it was disrupting my sleep two or more nights a week. This product is expensive for a sound machine and should have lasted much longer. Although I was very happy with it when it worked properly I can't see buying another one and risking that it too will be defective.

I'm a 40 year-old male distance runner. I have used Transpore 1" tape for years to cover my nipples on any run over 4 miles. It prevents chafing and the dreaded bloody shirt. It's far cheaper than nip guards made specifically for the purpose, and you don't have to be as fussy about placement. When applied to initially dry skin, it will not come off no matter how much you sweat or how much it rains, in part since it's perforated and your sweat can come through. I'm sure you could wear it during the swim portion of a triathlon and be just fine. You may have to shave a bit so that it sticks directly to your skin and not to your chest hair. Bottom line is, it's not coming off 'til you rip it off (it's not that bad, just do it quickly), even during a shower.Depending on how often you run, you might go through 1-3 rolls a year. If you're looking for a solution to nipple chafing, this is the stuff.

I remember being disappointed when the package arrived and I had my first look at this tape. Impressive, it doesn't look or feel at all, but apparently this product has been very finally engineered to do just what it's supposed to do.It doesn't grab anything with an instant bond allowing for easy application it doesn't grab your fingers and allows for adjustments immediately after application. It tears easily and evenly for blade-less operation too.
Let it sit a minute. Allow some body heat to warm up the adhesive. I think the longer it stays on the better it holds. It grabs onto skin, hair, fur, fabric, or another side of itself. Removal may be challenging. I wonder about using this tape around more sensitive or severely injured tissue, however, there may be other tapes that work better for that. I had specifically chosen this one for the strength of the adhesive and I got what I asked for. I would never imagine I would be writing a review of a tape, but I got really impressed with this one...

I'm a glass artist so getting an occasional cut is just part of the job. I use this tape to seal cuts under a bandage. Clean your cut well and dry the area, then apply one end of tape to side of skin near cut and pull it across to other side and stick it down. It will hold the edges of a cut together but allows fluids out through pores in the tape. I replace the bandage but leave the original tape on until the cut will stay closed by itself. It's pretty impressive. I don't think a doctor would recommend it but I have actually done this on cuts that probably should have required stitches, and had amazing results. If you do it as soon as you are cut (DON'T WAIT) the results are better than stitches in my opionion. Not to mention it saves tons of money by avoiding the emergency room. Of course, you should not do this on anything severe but if you are comfortable doctoring yourself, this tape is magic on the kind of normal cut you could get using knives in the kitchen, etc. It's great emergency first aid and better than any other medical tape I've tried.Save 14% Off
