My daughter is 5 months old and has been struggling since the day she was born with constipation, gas, and reflux. We've tried formula after formula after formula, nothing but vomit and severe constipation. Finally we found a formula that helped with her constipation but she was still having problems with her reflux, even with added rice. The drs however continued to say she was at a steady growing rate so there was nothing to worry about. Well, one day I ran out of formula and ran to the store to pick up some more. FORTUNATELY, the store was out of the Similac Alimentum. Nearing her feeding time, I was in a rush, so I glanced over the other formulas to find one that would be the closest match. I just happened to pick up Similac Sensitive R.S. Now not only is she not spitting up, she's staying full longer, sleeping through the whole night, and SHE'S NOT GASSY OR CONSTIPATED!!! HURRAY! Another minor pro is that it doesn't reek like the Alimentum does. Kind of smells like Vanilla Flavored Ensure. I called all my friends just days after buying the product and recommended it to everyone. I couldn't be anymore grateful.

When my son was born, I was exclusively breastfeeding. However, due to some problems with gaining weight and constantly spitting up HUGE amounts, we had to supplement and eventually switch to exclusively formula. His doctor initially recommended Enfamil AR (powder)and at first it seemed to work, but after a day or so, the spitting up returned. (As well as days of constipation and gas!!) I was becoming frustrated and started researching Similac. I had read several reviews from moms that had used Enfamil AR, switched to Similac Sensitive RS and had great results, so I bought a bottle at my local store to try it out. WOW!! We have had excellent results from Similac Sensitive RS!! Not nearly as much spitting up,(not any more than just a little with a burp) NO constipation and NO painful gas!! It can be expensive, which is why I purchase it here on Amazon. A case of 6 for not even $30 is a very competitive price and very affordable! Which is great for our one income family!!

Oh and BTW, I also like the ready to feed much better than a powder type formula... not as many bubbles which is great for little tummies! :)

Our 3 month old has gone through numerous types of formula including Enfamil Newborn, Similac Soy, Similic Sensitive for Fussiness & Gas, and finally a formula that worked for our baby boy's extremely bad gas: Similac Alimentum. It was costing us a ridiculous amount of money to feed our baby and just started to settle on the fact that we'd be paying over $9.00 per bottle until he starts on solids.

I started reading some other reviews on Amazon and found that the Similac Spit Up formula could work just as well as Alimentum. My wife and I tried it and after almost a week it has proved to be a success. Our baby boy is happy and so are Mom and Dad!

We just had our second baby in five years with severe GERD/reflux. Luckily, I was able to identify the signs much earlier this time. We also determiend before even leaving the hospital that she was lactose intolerant, as I am. She was first switched from Enfamil Lacto-free to Nutramigen, to Enfamil A.R.(not lactose free), to Enfamil Gentlease (reduced lactose), to Similac R.S. (lactose free with rice starch additive). After the third one, they put her on Zantac and continued on with the formulas until we got to this one and it worked.

It is pricey and only available in ready-to-feed, but it was the ONLY formula that kept my daughter from screaming in pain. She still spits up, but it's not as much. I might also mention that she was constipated as well before going on this one. Another word of advise to parents whose babies are put on Zantacit's much easier to administer if you mix it in with their formula. Our pediatrician told us it's just as effective that way.

After our preemie twins came home, the doctors had us supplementing breast milk with the Similac Neosure (powder) which the babies hated and fussed over and spit out (and up). They had gas and were constipated and our boy had trouble eating the Neosure and every feeding was a struggle. After buying the sensitive formula while on a road trip because the Neosure unavailable we discovered they like it much more, are eager to eat it and it digests more like breast milk, giving the babies the loose stool that breast does so I felt better about that. Our very fussy boy is eating so much better and we have heard from other twin parents that the rice starch is what makes the difference. I would recommend parents with fussy babies give this formula a go and see if it works as well for them as it did for us.

Aquasentials Slumber Spa Sleep Eye Mask

I'm normally not picky about sleep masks, so I didn't pay attention to the poor reviews before I bought this. Needless to say, I wish I had. The elastic pulls the mask so tightly around my eyes they dry out during the night and feel glued together when I get up in the morning. Also, it does NOT effectively block light. The fabrics are just too thin. Worst mask I have ever used.

This is a nice, satiny mask, with some light, comfy padding, and it blocks light very well. Unfortunately, it fits my head much too tightly. I don't have a particularly large head (at least, I've never had to look for large sizes in hats), but this felt like a tight rubber band around my head. If you have a very small head, it may be a good mask for you.

As far as a sleep mask goes, this is worthless. It hardly blocks any light (I can still see the light from my digital alarm clock with this on) and it is itchy and uncomfortable. Although the mask was cheap, it wasn't worth what I paid for it.

Also, when I first took it out of the package it had an awful chemical smell and needed to be aired out for several days before I could use it.

This item is great for keeping the street lights at night and it helps me easily fall asleep. It is a little thinner so doesn't work to block out the sun on a bright day, but at night with outside lights shinning in, or middle of the day with blinds closed, it works great.

First, thanks to the other reviews that led me to purchase this melatonin. I became interested in melatonin after reading an article for people who have trouble sleeping. I wake up every night at 3a.m, and have trouble going back to sleep. The article indicated that melatonin resets your sleep rhythms, and helps sleeping through the night. I purchased these and LOVE them. I've taken sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and other things prescribed to sleep before, but the melatonin works the best for me. I do have lots of dreams, but I wake up feeling like I got the best sleep ever! I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. The best solution I had found before trying this product was the prescription medication Zolpidem (Ambien). However, I had been advised by my doctor that it can be addictive and often requires an increased dosage to continue to be effective. I also tried Sleep Aid, which you can get here on Amazon Kirkland Signature Nighttime Sleep Aid (Doxylamine Succinate 25 mg), 96-Count Tablets (Pack of 2) or you can get directly from Costco. I also wrote a review on these, in which I explain that I found them to be surprisingly effective, but almost too powerful. They caused me to feel very groggy when it was time to get up and face the day.

I tried this option at my doctor's suggestion (he suggested melatonin, not this particular brand, by the way). He told me that melatonin is something that the body produces naturally, but as we get older it tends to produce less of it, therefore making sleep more difficult. He suggested that I start out with one 3mg tablet, and if that didn't work, to increase it to two, and then if that didn't work, to try three, and if that didn't work, to forget it. Well, I never had to go past one 3mg tablet.

I take one pill 30 minutes to an hour before I go to sleep. They do not "knock you cold" into a deep sleep, so if that is what you are after you'll be disappointed. But, for me, they do make me drowsy and make it easy for me to fall asleep. I am not so sure about the time released feature that this particular brand boasts, but they do tend to keep me asleep at just the right level. What I mean by this is if, for example, I had to break out of my sleep for whatever reason, it would be easy for me to do so. I suppose the best way to describe its effect is that it pushes you into a "normal" sleep pattern.

Lastly, as other reviewers have written, taking them also makes me dream much more, thus it puts me into a deeper realm of sleep, thus allowing me to get a deeper state of rest. I do feel more rested after taking these than I do after taking Ambien.

Keep in mind that this product, like most medications or supplements, will affect different people in different ways, so how they affected me may be quite different than how they affect you. But, nevertheless, I wanted to share my own experience in case it might help you make a purchasing decision. Good luck and I hope this helped!

I've tried one other brand of melatonin, 3mg, from a friend (which is why I can't remember the brand) but the "normal" vs. time released is a big difference. With the non-time released, I fall asleep fast, however I do wake up about 4 hours later. It is usually quite easy to fall back to sleep though. With this natrol timed release, it is about equally as effective at helping to fall asleep, without any interruption in the night. Yet I have more trouble waking up and feel considerably more groggy in the am. I've decided to switch back to non-timed release, but I still give this 4 stars as it does exactly what it says, the whole 8 hours of it. I am somewhat sensitive to caffeine so I think my reaction to this melatonin may reflect that, as the "tired" feeling can extend 9-10 hours after I fall asleep.

Tubing for CPAP 6'

tubing folded and stays folded! can't seem to get it unfolded, and it is very stiff! Does the job = I have no choice, my other tubing sprung a leak.

I bought this tubing for my cpap machine. The tubing gets the job done however it's very stiff and thus it isn't very flexible. If you sleep through the night in one position then this tube will be perfect for you. However, if you're like me and tend to switch positions through out the night you may find yourself tugging and pulling on the tubing in your sleep. Over all it isn't a great product but for the price I can't really complain.

Hose works great for my cpap machine. I do not experience any additional noise. The hose is flexible and hasn't been knotted or caused me any trouble like other more expensive hoses I've bought. I move around a lot in my sleep.

One bad thing is on super cold nights the built in humidifier my cpap machine causes the hose to fill up with condensation. And I've been woken up to a splash of water in the face.

Sleep Pretty in Pink Women's Ear Plugs, 14-Pair (Pack of 3)

These earplugs expand before I can even get them in my ear, so the fit is never snug enough to filter noise; they just fall out. Useless.

These are by far the best foam plugs I've found. I wonder if it is all just personal fit?

I do find that after a certain amount of use they don't compress well anymore, but when they are new they go into my small canals and block EVERYTHING. They last months before they stop working well for me.

For the last five years (at least) I have used the Pretty in Pink plugs and cannot sleep without them. I always carry at least two pairs with me at all times because I'm really sensitive to noise. By morning, I can feel lots of softness and moisture throughout. A couple of times a week works best to avoid buildup. This doesn't replace deep conditioning which you should do once a week for natural hair.

I purchased this nighttime treatment because I like to try new products and I wanted to see if it was better than my current system. I have relaxed hair, long, past my shoulders, and it's fine or thin-textured. I usually wash my hair every other night, apply a leave-in conditioner, hair gloss, then a few drops of jojoba oil. Wrap or braid it and its ready the next morning. Instead of doing all that, I applied this product...BIG mistake. First my hair smelled bad the next morning and on top of that, it wasn't moisturized. I was kinda greasy. This product is fairly expensive and I believed this to be a more "high-end" black hair care product. I should have read the ingredents list before purchase. In the first 4 or 5 ingredients, it lists "water, mineral oil, and petroleum". These ingredients are very cheap. There is no reason for this product ot be so high in cost. You can always tell the quality of a product by reading the ingredients list. Those that are listed first are the ones that are most in abundance...when you get to the end of the list, those are at trace amounts. Folks with relaxed hair need to stay very far away from mineral oil and petro heavy products. The do not moisterize the hair but rather it just sits on top and makes the hair look dirty and greasy. I basically used this the one time and absolutely hated it! I thought about trying other products from this line but my experience with this product was so bad (had bad hair day for 2 days until I washed it again using my old system)I think I'll stick to Nexxus, Design Essentials or KeraCare products.

Ortho-pedic Contour Pillow With This 2 Inch Thick Soft Sleeper 5.5 Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattres

We have had this memory foam topper for two weeks now and absolutely love it! After the first night, we were both hooked. I have to make myself get out of the bed in the morning because it's so comfy. Last December, we compromised on a king size mattress and bought a $1300 mattress instead of the $4000 Temperpedic. Unfortunately the mattress we have is somewhat hard and after about 10 months of restless sleeping, we decided to purchase this item. I'm just sorry that we didn't buy one sooner.

On another note, the pillow is really a joke. But hey, the price for the topper itself is less than half than what you would pay in the store, so I didn't really care about the pillow.

Also, the memory foam has a smell to it, but I know it will wear off in a week or two. If possible, it's best to let it air out before putting on the bed.

This product is amazing for the price, personally I bought this one for my twin bed, so I folded the king size. This provided me a perfectly soft and comfortable bed.

Its definitely not tempurpedic, but one cant expect that for a fraction of the price. Only con after a few months the foam lost a little of the strength on the middle area.
