Sleep Pretty in Pink Women's Ear Plugs, 14-Pair (Pack of 3)

Sleep Pretty in Pink Women's Ear Plugs, 14-PairThese earplugs expand before I can even get them in my ear, so the fit is never snug enough to filter noise; they just fall out. Useless.

These are by far the best foam plugs I've found. I wonder if it is all just personal fit?

I do find that after a certain amount of use they don't compress well anymore, but when they are new they go into my small canals and block EVERYTHING. They last months before they stop working well for me.

I found the best way to insert these earplugs is not to roll them, just wet your finger and insert in your ear

to wet the insert area, then just slide the earplugs in, no need to rool them. That way they fit perfectly and

have not had them fall out in the two years that I have been using them.

For the last five years (at least) I have used the Pretty in Pink plugs and cannot sleep without them. I always carry at least two pairs with me at all times because I'm really sensitive to noise. I can easily develop a migraine from the most common sounds in a store (i.e., crying children, advertising over the loud speaker, people arguing on their cell phones, or the HD televisions playing different videos at the same time). They have been life-savers to me.

But.....lately, when I wear the Pretty in Pink ear plugs, they don't block the noise like before. Now, I can't fall asleep while my husband snores and, when I wake up, the plugs have usually fallen out. Plus, my ears itch deep inside the canal when I wear them, and even after 20 minutes, my ear canals are sore.

So, now, I use the Hearos Ultimate Softness ear plugs. They feel more like moleskin than rubber, and I can push them into my ear canal to really block the noise. Yet, my ears don't feel as though I've pushed corn cobs in them all night. Hearos Ultimate Softness, 20-Pair Foam (Pack of 2)

Sorry, Pretty in Pink. It was good while it lasted.

I didn't think it would be necessary to have ear plugs especially for women. Honestly when I first saw them I thought that the packaging and color were just a gimmick to draw women to them over the others. But after being forced to use them on a trip once, I realized I was wrong. They are smaller than most ear plugs which really help me use them. My allergies started affecting my ears and making them swell on the inside and other ear plugs hurt too bad to use, but the smaller size of these gave me back my restful sleep. I thank someone for making them in a larger package to save me some money. Perhaps they will make an even larger pack soon.
