Worked OK, to put me to sleep after about an hour and half, but only kept me asleep for about 3 hours. Each persons metabolism is

different so you probably have to try it to see how it works for you.

I work with a lot of people with sleep issues. If it's a mild issue difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, this is the first sleep formulation I recommend. It has worked well for several people I recommended it to a woman at my Kiwanis club who was 50 and has suffered for years with mild sleep issues. A couple of other clients. My 86 year old mom and now her 85 year old male neighbor.

Many people ask what's in it. One ingredient is melatonin which they'll say, I've tried, it doesn't work. But that's a small part of the formulation. There are a ton of sleep supplement/formulations. None will work for everyone. But this combo of magnesium, magnolia bark, and 5htp (plus a couple other things) is very solid. The combination appears to be far more effective than any one component.

Nothing works for everyone. This one is dose specific. It says to go up to 2 tablets, but you can go up to 4. I would recommend not taking it every night if you can help it, but that's true for all sleep remedies. You body will get too used to it.

Start 1 pill for 3 days. If that doesn't help, go up to 2 for 3 more days. For most people, 1 or 2 work, but some people will need to go higher (note there's only 30 pills in a bottle). If after 30 days it doesn't work, move on the next one. Go to a good health food store even CVS and Walgreens, have some pretty good sleep aids these days.

If one doesn't work, keep trying.. Don't assume the formulations are the same. Keep trying a natural forumla if you can before meds. Ambien and Xanax are not good long term sleep solutions, but you have to be creative to find other options. SleepCycle is a good formulation and another good option. Single supplements such as Melatonin, L-Tryptophan, Magnesium or a Magnesium/Calcium sleep blend can work. Formulations such as Hyland Calms Forte, Natural Factors Stress-Relax Tranquil Sleep, are good. Many others exist

However, SleepSolve is now my first recommendation to try. Give every supplement 30 days to really let you body adapt if you have enough patience. You can even try it while on sleep meds to see if you can learn to wean down on the sleep meds. It won't hurt all natural supplements.

I have been taking Benadryl as a sleep aid for some time. I thought I would try this product to give my body a break from it for a while. I took 2 of these Sleep Solves at 6 pm. At 8PM not a bit drowzy so I took 2 more. At 9 PM I was still wide awake so I took 25Mg Benadryl and was asleep in 30 minutes. I was really hoping for something that worked but this product does nothing at all. IMHO save your money. Be sure and eat well and exercise daily as well as get your "Head" in order. Doing this will help you a lot more than this useless product.

Bed Wedge-Foam Wedge Pillow. Good for Acid Reflux, Snoring.

I searched for a while comparing different bed wedges and decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did it's great! The price is good, compared to others, the shipping was fast and the wedge is pretty firm. I would think for a wedge to be effective it should be firm. This one also comes with a pillow cover for it, so there's no need to buy it separately, which I've seen quite a bit on other products. This can still be used with a pillow and the best thing about it is that it keeps its shape and doesn't sink down. Well worth the money!

I bought this after using the 12-inch wedge, which is uncomfortable to sleep on. Both the 7-inch and 12-inch do work for acid reflux, though the 7-inch doesn't work as well because you will tend to slide, making the elevation insuffient. In addition, they are not ergonomically designed. The main problem is the lack of lumbar support. The human spine is not perfectly straight. You need to put a rolled towel under your lower back to feel comfortable, otherwise you'll find yourself sliding down toward the bottom of the wedge in the morning. Prepare to get lower backaches. Also, this is not designed for side sleepers. I'm going to try stacking something under the head of the bed instead.

I ordered this for my mother who has a breathing condition. It elevated her enough to make a real difference. She was struggling with five pillows before and was able to go down to one. If you just have some mild reflux, this may be too high, but for someone who is sleeping in a chair because of breathing difficulties this is just the ticket. Comes with a soft cover so you are not right on the foam. This made a big difference for my mother and she can sleep in her bed again.

I suffer from Acid Reflux and my doctor recommended elevating the head of the bed or using a bed wedge. I tried pillows and found them to be very uncomfortable. This bed wedge works as advertised but is a little too short (length) and narrow (Width). This makes it a bit uncomfortable, specially on the lower back and arms. Its a great improvement from using pillows to create an incline but my arms hang down the sides and I had to add to the length by using pillows in the end. Based on the wear patters on it now I anticipate having to replace it in 3 6 months.

A longer and wider bed wedge would be much better. I found a wider and longer bed wedge online and intent to purchase it when this one wears out.

Pros:

Better than using pillows to create an incline.

Comfortable if you have a small to medium upper body frame.

Cons:

Too short (Length). I had to add to length using pillows in order to be able to use it comfortably without back pain.

Too narrow (Width)so arms hang down the sides.

Only one pillow cover.

Wear pattern after one month of use leads me to believe this wedge will have a 3-6 month life span.

Flimsy zipper on pillow cover.

If money is an issue this will do fine. If you can affort to spend $150-200 there is a wider, longer, better constructed pillow on the market with a longer warranty.

UPDATE: March 5, 2011

As I suspected the foam has compacted and is now uncomfortable to use. I will be replacing it with another product. Don't expect it to last for more that 3-6 months.

I'm a computer programmer. I have been coding 8-26 hours a day (yes) since 1989.

Within the past year, I would get home and my hands would be KILLING me. Tight, sore, felt like arthritis burn in my joints. Achy and stressed. My forearms felt tight, tired, and painful. I did not have the night-wakeups with the dead hands that is typical of CTS, however I was getting scared nonetheless. I bought these and slapped em on for about two weeks. About a week in, I was noticing a SIGNIFICANT difference in my pain. I wore these day and night. Weeks 3 and 4 I only wore them occasionally. And after the first month, my hands weren't back to new, but if the pain I had was 100% prior, I'd say my aches and pains are now about a 5%. I don't wear them much anymore. If I have a particularly stressful and long week at the computer, I will use them when the pain gets bad, and they do bring relief.

For me, this product was exactly what I needed. Everyone who is reading this is in a different spot, but for me and whatever my condition is, these have allowed me to get back to crankin' out code and not having to go home and do nothing with my hands because they hurt too much. I'm even back to playing drums on rock band, which is pretty big.

PROS

* Excellent fit. I am 5'10" skinny male with thin to average hands, and got the mediums. I measured according to the sizing sheet, and the fit was great, so use the sizing guide

* The skin that they are in is outstanding in the winter. I'm freezing at work pretty much all of the time, and these definitely warmed up my hands a bit.

* I guess above all, they helped relieve the pain, tremendously.

CONS

* The inner stitching in the nook of my thumb and forefinger was abrasive. The first few days it was definitely an irritant, but not enough to stop using them. Next version of these, the stitching should be of a softer material

* In the summer, they do get warm. And sweaty, and they will definitely retain an odor. Washing them is no biggie, you remove the metal (no effort required, the gloves have openings where each metal piece slides out), toss them in the wash, and it's all good.

This is my first and only pair of braces, I have nothing to compare them to. I started with this nice, more expensive pair because I didn't want to get some cheap crap, wear it for a month and find out they didn't help.

I would not hesitate to give these a try if your story is similar to mine. Best of luck to everyone who is fighting this.

I picked these up because I was feeling numbness in my thumb and went to the doctor; he said it was Carpal Tunnel. He gave me a medical brace to wear while I slept. As it turns out, the brace was helping out so much that I started wearing it all of the time. I used it while sleeping, at work, etc. All of a sudden, everybody I talked to was an expert on Carpal Tunnel. I was wishing people would mind their own business. I quickly noted that the brace provided by the doctor didn't "breathe" properly, and I had to wash it every few days because it began to smell. These braces aren't like that one -they provide great support, and I haven't noticed any issue with odor. I'm certain I would have, as I'm one of those people who makes a mental note when somebody who's wearing a leather watch strap might not be aware of the smell if they don't give it time off, and I'll make an attempt to stay away from that situation because it makes me sick to my stomach. Anyway, if you think you have a need for good braces and don't want to deal with washing them all of the time, these are the best I've found.

I am pleased with these braces. I ordered them as soon as I discovered early symptoms of tendonitis. I work in healthcare, and, because the braces are thin, I am able to wear exam gloves over the top of them. The supports keep my wrists straight and the curve on the palm side allows my hand to rest/hover at the appropriate level when using a mouse. I like the overall design mainly because I can still use my fingers and thumbs for most tasks with little interference. These braces serve their purpose well. After some consistent use, they become more cozy, less stiff, but still maintain good wrist support. I sweat a little on the inside, but there is no unpleasant odor whatsoever and the breathability is satisfying. On a side note, they make me feel like a ninja, which is the most important reason to buy them of course!

These braces are well made and do the job of restricting my wrists and preventing carpal tunnel "dead arm" while I sleep. But these particular braces are designed to increase heat in the wrist area which I guess is meant to help heal, but I don't think the heat is going to "heal" my carpel tunnel and I find that for sleeping I get uncomforatably hot in them. They don't breathe at all and when I wake up my wrists are sweaty. In the summer, wearing these braces all night is out of the question. I can deal with them in the winter and I like how tightly they wrap around my wrist and I feel they restrict my movement better than some other braces I've tried. They have the metal splint on both sides of your wrist, whereas a lot of other braces have it on just one side. But the heat thing is a problem for me. I know that's how they were designed, but I guess they weren't meant for overnight use.

No-Jet-Lag - 32 - Tablet

I'm in my late 20s and generally suffer from horrendou jetlag that lasts weeks and profoundly disrupts my sleep and wake patterns. I used these pills on a 12 hour trans-Atlantic flight, and I will use them again on the return trip. At roughly $7 and even with addtional s/h, these pills as sold by this seller are noticeably cheaper than if you buy them in the store. I had a pleasant flight and recovered from jetlag faster than usual, and they at the very least, do not hurt you or mess up your rhythm when you follow the instructions. I recommend them to anyone who wants an edge up during long flights.

I do have to add though, that my flight was unusually comfortable since it was half full I got my own middle row on a newly outfitted Singapore Airlines plane. I have been using this product for approximately five years. After being diagnosed with TMJ problems, I was given a sleep right night guard by my chiropractor to try. I had been experiencing head aches, and ear problems before I began using the night guard. Since using the night guard I no longer experience head aches or ear problems when waking up in the a.m. I do have to replace the sleep right about every 3 months due to clenching so hard that I wear them out in about 3 months. I've had this mouthguard about a week and I absolutely love it. I grind my teeth pretty bad when I sleep so I always wake up with sore spots on the sides of my tongue. I was a bit hesitant to spend $40 on a plastic mouthpiece but it has been so worth it!

Not only are the sore spots on my tongue completely gone, but I have no trouble keeping the mouthguard in my mouth all night long. I purchased this Cannula for a family member's use on an Oxygen Concentrator. The tubing is smaller in diameter and softer than the canulla from the local health supplier and hospital. During use, it severly restricted the flow from the concentrator (tubing was even checked for kinks there were none). Additionally, while the softness of the tubing was nice, it did not offset the danger of a flow restriction if a bed ridden person should lay on top of it.

Overally, I would personally not recommend this Cannula for a person who requires a constant flow of oxygen.

Traditional Medicinals Organic Smooth Move, 16-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)

I bought this, knowing the risks and side effects (one of which being laxative withdrawal), because I prefer herbal remedies to store bought medicines. I rarely have need of such a product due to my vegetarian diet. Occasionally I don't eat enough fiber, it happens; I purchased this tea and tried it because Traditional Medicinals teas are fantastic and usually take care of my problems quickly.

The tea tastes nice, I wasn't turned off to it, my husband however was. I'm a big fan of Chi tea and spice tea, so this was right up my alley. I brewed for 10 minutes, no longer. In about 4 hours I produced a bowel movement that was...unpleasant. The product took care of my bloating and cramping, however it was a bit much. I suggest perhaps brewing for 5-8 minutes instead of 10-15 unless you're used to the way this product works. It's suggested that you sleep, I do not recommend this. I've heard stories of people using it before bed and waking up to a mess. Given the urgent need to go I experienced once the product kicked in, I'd say this is a reasonable fear.

I did feel as if I'd been cleansed out properly, and felt much relief afterwords, so the product does what it should do, just be careful of it and use it in moderation. Herbs are not 100% safe just because they are natural, so do your research and be aware of what you are putting into your body.

I have used this product as part of a several cleanses so far, previously only at night but this week have been using it in the morning also a few times.

It says to steep 10-15 minutes. If I steep it any longer than 10 minutes I get some pretty bad cramps that wake me up a few times about 6 hours after drinking it and last about an hour (as well as make me need to visit the bathroom). In the morning it seems to take about 4 hours for it to work, probably because I'm up and moving around.

It doesn't taste too bad at all and is naturally sweet. I tried the chocolate and thought that was pretty disgusting. I would definitely suggest brewing it for even shorter times the first few times you use it because if you are going to be affected by cramping is different for everybody and I remember the first time I brewed it and let it go 15 minutes I thought I was going to die!

Also honestly it makes you very gassy when you go to the bathroom maybe it's just because on my cleanse I am not eating solid food so there's not anything for it to push out except teeny bits of lemon but this is good to know if you have a thin walled bathroom and don't want your spouse or coworkers to hear what's going on.

It IS very effective but really read the directions that it's not meant for long term use as it can cause a lot of problems, potassium deficiency, and your colon will get weak & have issues contracting normally when not being stimulated with senna.

Sleep Pretty in Pink Women's Ear Plugs, 14-Pair (Pack of 3)

These earplugs expand before I can even get them in my ear, so the fit is never snug enough to filter noise; they just fall out. Useless.

These are by far the best foam plugs I've found. I wonder if it is all just personal fit?

I do find that after a certain amount of use they don't compress well anymore, but when they are new they go into my small canals and block EVERYTHING. They last months before they stop working well for me.

For the last five years (at least) I have used the Pretty in Pink plugs and cannot sleep without them. I always carry at least two pairs with me at all times because I'm really sensitive to noise. I can easily develop a migraine from the most common sounds in a store (i.e., crying children, advertising over the loud speaker, people arguing on their cell phones, or the HD televisions playing different videos at the same time). They have been life-savers to me.

But.....lately, when I wear the Pretty in Pink ear plugs, they don't block the noise like before. Now, I can't fall asleep while my husband snores and, when I wake up, the plugs have usually fallen out. Plus, my ears itch deep inside the canal when I wear them, and even after 20 minutes, my ear canals are sore.

Honestly when I first saw them I thought that the packaging and color were just a gimmick to draw women to them over the others. Heat-Sensitive Remedy Memory Foam Sleep Mask

Most of the sleep masks I've looked at seem to ignore that people have noses. They make some small adjustment for a nose (which the designers must believe is the size of a thimble and on the upper lip). This mask is no exception. Aside from that, it is quite comfortable, and I was able to modify it into a very comfortable and light-blocking mask, if an ugly one.

This mask is of the "rests on the eyelids" type. It is made from "thermal memory foam" which is soft yet firm, and is covered with a black synthetic velour/velvet type material. There is a roll of foam/velour at the bottom to rest on the cheeks and a small indentation in the roll for the nose. As with many masks, I found that the nose allowance was hopelessly small, and the mask gapped badly at the bottom. Other than that, it was quite comfortable. The velour felt nice against my skin and did not irritate, as many synthetic materials do. The foam did countour itself nicely to my face, except at the bottom. I was able to slide the wide adjustable strap down so it covered my ears; this gave some sound blocking and also helped to keep ear plugs in place.

Because the mask "almost" worked for me, and was quite nice except for the gap, I decided to experiment with it, to see if I could make it work, and I was able to. I cut the threads holding the cheek roll so that it hung down straight from the mask, then cut a slit straight up from the nose indentation, about 2 inches. This causes the mask to be much longer and to lie flatter against the face, and in addition gives a nice gap for the nose to poke through. The result is extremely comfortable and has no light-admitting gaps, even when I "scrunch up" my face. Plus, my nose doesn't have pressure on it, and can breathe. It is a bit ugly, as the foam pokes out from the slit a little, but it works.

I bought two of these sleep masks, one for myself and one for my husband because he works a late shift and we need to sleep during some sunlight. Since your body needs melatonin to fight cancers and stay young, keeping out light is important while you sleep. I sleep much better and feel and look more refreshed using the mask. My husband won't wear his because the strap is a little thick for him and he feels it there and can't sleep. That doesn't seem to bother me since it is soft and doesn't press into your head. Everyone is different. This product really does block the light and it feels very soft though bulky. Great for your health if you sleep during times of light.

These aren't exactly the same as the Sharper Image masks, but they're very close. The price is great and they are the best sleep masks! We get a lot of light in our bedroom in the morning and they block everything out. They're also really comfortable. I can sleep the whole night without my mask falling off. (which is good because it doesn't do you any good if you have to wake up to put it back on when the sun starts coming up!) I just bought more for my husband and I in case we ever lose ours!

I've tried out several sleep masks to block out light, and this is by far the worst! In fact, the "sleep" part of its name is a complete misnomer. Based on my experience, you won't get any sleep while wearing this mask for the following reasons:

1. If you're a side or stomach sleeper, you won't be able to comfortably rest the side of your head against the pillow because the memory foam part of the mask is WAY too bulky and thick.

2. If you sleep flat on your back, the stiff and scratchy straps make a substantial lump at the back of your head that is very uncomfortable and gave me quite a headache.

3. Another side effect of the mask's bulkiness is that the area of your face that it covers will get quite hot and sweaty.

4. Given its thickness, it does a surprisingly poor job at blocking light, especially around the nose area.

About 6 months ago I started Medifast to lose weight. The foods filled me up and tasted good, but I was still struggling with urges and desires to eat other, more forbidden foods. I bought this product on Amazons credibility as it had some good reviews. But this seems to be a total scam so many good reviews in such a short time and only those people have reviewed this product only.

I don't have severe acne but I do get break outs here n there some times as exposed skin care might say this might not suit u but I don't think that should be the case for very mild acne. I had very severe acne when starting this product and used it for over 2 months with no improvement. I eventually had to return this product frustrated with no results after spending time and money on Exposed. I have used Proactiv and Neutrogena and I do not find them any better, but if you are going to go for non-prescription acne treatment I would still probably recommend Exposed because the customer service is much better. It has a lifetime warranty so if you do not get results you can return the product and they will reimburse your first kit which is really good. The warranty for other products like Proactiv is much worse so if choosing between the two spend a little more on Exposed but get a better return policy. I have been on prescription topical medications and in two months have experienced excellent results. (I posted this review on the other kit, thought it would be relevant here too) I'm 30, a dude, and have been fighting with my skin since i was about 14. I've gone through cheapo in store products (too many to name) and some of the more expensive products: Murad, clinique, etc. No matter what i always had blackheads, a few random pimples, and about 1 to 2 times a month i would get a lovely breakout. my skin wasnt THAT bad but i always always always had problems. I found Exposed by accident. I went online looking for alternative ways to get my skin to stop screwing with me and i got a link for the exposed "lifestyle tips" page. That led me to looking into the actual product. I skeptically pulled the trigger and got the uber kit with all the goodies. First week was not that rough, i got a few new pimples but i noticed my blackheads were getting a little smaller. Most skin care programs will warn you that it usually gets worse before it gets better. It got better. Weeks 2 and 3 showed steady improvement, few new minor pimples and my skin started looking healthier. I'm on the middle of week 4 and my skin looks better than it has in longer than i can remember. I KNOW my skin is healthier too. I used to get up early so i could give my face time to calm down before i went to work. Even washing it gently with my hands would leave it red, patchy, and swollen. Lotion was also a daily requirement. Definitely not the case now, i scrub and scrub and no irritation. I also know it's healthier cause of the comments i get at work. People complain about the tonic. Lastly, i like that this program addresses scarring. I've definitely got a few red marks from all the years of torment and like exposed claims, the marks are fading.

I looked at the other reviews, definitely a few fakes, it's kind of off putting but whatever. If you leave a comment i'll try to respond. I know how awful it is to worry about your skin all the time and if my input can help another exhausted acne victim i will be glad to give it. No skin care program works for everyone, just make sure give whatever you try a fair chance. Nothing is going to happen overnight. I strongly recommend giving Exposed a chance.

PS, wash your pillow cases... a lot. people always forget to do that.

This review *sounds* really negative because my first experience has been really weird and kind of shocking, but ultimately this DOES work and I'm glad for that. I just thought it was importnat to point out all of this stuff that happened.

First of all, this says on the package that it can be taken by itself or with water/juice. It also says it has flavorings in it, in addition to alcohol "as a preservative". So I was like, "wow, okay, I can just take the 4 "droppers" full that it says to without anything, no big deal." This stuff is MOSTLY alcohol, it burned worse than whiskey going down, so if you're going to take it, I highly recommend mixing it with something.

Secondly, the dropper inside doesn't have measurements on it, but on the package it refers to a "dropper" as a measurement and then says that "1/2 of a full dropper = 1 dropper." Wtf is that? I mean, I deciphered it, but it might not be that easy for everyone, and the fact that the dropper itself isn't just labeled so you KNOW how much you're taking is kind of ridiculous to me. Ultimately you end up taking "4 droppers" for an adult dose (or 2 full droppers if you're reading the word "dropper" like everyone in the world does). 4mL total. So that's what I took.

When I first took it out it gave me weird chest pains, which I thought were probably just because it burned a hole in my esophagus going down. I still have them this morning, though, so I don't think that's the case. Also, those 4 "droppers" were like the equivalent of a BIG dose of nyquil. It knocked me out flat for 10 hours, and when I finally had to get up because the alarm was going off it took everything in me to haul myself out of bed. It made me feel really trippy before I fell asleep (I felt like the bed was on waves, and I kept seeing green everywhere even though the lights were off) and when I woke up in the middle of the night because I had to pee really bad (which usually happens for me, I drink lots of water, and I'm just glad I did wake up because not having done so would have been embarrassing) I still felt trippy and stayed pretty much half-asleep the whole time. That could be seen as a good thing I suppose (that it was still effective I did fall asleep immediately after I came back to bed), take it how you will.

I'm mentioning this not because I think the dosage is wrong for everyone, but because they don't offer alternative doses on the label and it would have behooved me to research them before I took it without considering that a little might have been enough. I urge everybody else to do the same. I've also heard that if you take too much it can have the opposite effect, which is why I read the label over and over incredulously when I saw that they want you to take 4mL. But as a 120-something lb, female 20 year old apparently that is not exactly that type of 'too much.'

I'm not talking down this product because, despite all of this, it did put me to sleep, which I really need. I tend to get awful insomnia and it's good to know that I do have a failsafe that will knock me out if I really need sleep on any particular night. At the same time, I know that dosage for me will take some experimenting, and I don't really want to take this every night (which I've also heard you shouldn't do). But all in all, I'm glad to know that it works, and I do recommend it.

Getting my (now 5 year old developmentally delayed) son to sleep was always a BIG issue before we discovered the wonders of melatonin. My son's developmental pediatrician recommended use of melatonin about a year ago, and getting my son to bed has become so much easier. When we forget to give it to him, he comes out of his room about an hour after we put him to bed saying he can't sleep. We realize we forgot to give him his melatonin we give him his nightly dose, and he is asleep in about a half an hour.

The pediatrician said to start with 1 mg and go up as needed to up to 3 mg. At one mg my son was sleepy all day. We give our son 0.5 mg and that works well.

My son has severe ADHD and a mood disorder, he is only 4 and we use Melatonin to help his restless sleep.
