If it's a mild issue difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, this is the first sleep formulation I recommend. Many people ask what's in it. One ingredient is melatonin which they'll say, I've tried, it doesn't work. But that's a small part of the formulation. There are a ton of sleep supplement/formulations. None will work for everyone. But this combo of magnesium, magnolia bark, and 5htp (plus a couple other things) is very solid. The combination appears to be far more effective than any one component.
Nothing works for everyone. This one is dose specific. It says to go up to 2 tablets, but you can go up to 4. I would recommend not taking it every night if you can help it, but that's true for all sleep remedies. You body will get too used to it.
Start 1 pill for 3 days. If that doesn't help, go up to 2 for 3 more days. For most people, 1 or 2 work, but some people will need to go higher (note there's only 30 pills in a bottle). If after 30 days it doesn't work, move on the next one. Go to a good health food store even CVS and Walgreens, have some pretty good sleep aids these days.
If one doesn't work, keep trying.. Don't assume the formulations are the same. Keep trying a natural forumla if you can before meds. Ambien and Xanax are not good long term sleep solutions, but you have to be creative to find other options. SleepCycle is a good formulation and another good option. Single supplements such as Melatonin, L-Tryptophan, Magnesium or a Magnesium/Calcium sleep blend can work. Formulations such as Hyland Calms Forte, Natural Factors Stress-Relax Tranquil Sleep, are good. Many others exist
However, SleepSolve is now my first recommendation to try. Give every supplement 30 days to really let you body adapt if you have enough patience. You can even try it while on sleep meds to see if you can learn to wean down on the sleep meds. It won't hurt all natural supplements.

I have been taking Benadryl as a sleep aid for some time. I thought I would try this product to give my body a break from it for a while. I took 2 of these Sleep Solves at 6 pm. At 8PM not a bit drowzy so I took 2 more. At 9 PM I was still wide awake so I took 25Mg Benadryl and was asleep in 30 minutes. I was really hoping for something that worked but this product does nothing at all. IMHO save your money. Be sure and eat well and exercise daily as well as get your "Head" in order. This did not work for me. Kept me up most of the night. I don't think the combination of 5htp and melatonin work together well with me. Like the other person said, everyone is different.
