Fusion Beauty LipFusion XL

I bought the Lip Fusion XL out of curiosity and because I had used the original Lip Fusion and liked the results but wanted more lip plumping action. At first try I really liked the way it felt on my lipskind of numb and tingly. I noticed some visible pumping after about 5-10 minutes of application and, when applied at bedtime, awoke to super-soft lips with a lovely natural deep pink color. I've heard that collagen "micro-spheres" are far too large to penetrate the skin and cause any noticeable line reduction or plumping of fine lines so I think the only active ingredient in this lip gloss is the Hyaluronic Acid, which exfoliates and plumps skin. A trick I discovered while using Lip Fusion is to put on only a little bit and let it absorb into the lips for about 10-15 minutes. Then, use a wet washcloth to exfoliate the dry skin from your lips. Lastly, add a generous amount and allow this to work overnight. I usually get the best results when I exfoliate my lips before adding more product, it seems to go deeper into the lip tissues and is more effective this way. I don't really like the smell, however. My boyfriend hates it and thinks it smells "chemically", and I do prefer the original scent to the XL's scent. Overall, if this product were priced AT LEAST $30 less, I may have given it more stars. Since I'm running out, I may experiment with other, less expensive products. Sexy Motherpucker Lip Plumper (sold at Target) advertises to work on similar principles and the results are similar (the XL leaves lips a bit softer) but I just can't get over the horrible orange/chocolate(?) scent so I avoid using it. I'll probably just got back to using Lip injection for awhile.

This is an improvement from the original lipfusion ( in fact I'd say if you want better results don't even bother wasting your money on the original).

The results aren't dramatic ( if you want dramatic get the injections because you aren't going to get those kind of results without a surgeon)

The only downside for me is the price ( I recieved it as a gift and probably never would have bought it on my own due to its $50 price tag). However my previous lip fusion lasted almost a year so maybe $50 isn't too bad.

Worked OK, to put me to sleep after about an hour and half, but only kept me asleep for about 3 hours. Each persons metabolism is

different so you probably have to try it to see how it works for you.

I work with a lot of people with sleep issues. If it's a mild issue difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, this is the first sleep formulation I recommend. It has worked well for several people I recommended it to a woman at my Kiwanis club who was 50 and has suffered for years with mild sleep issues. A couple of other clients. My 86 year old mom and now her 85 year old male neighbor.

Many people ask what's in it. One ingredient is melatonin which they'll say, I've tried, it doesn't work. But that's a small part of the formulation. There are a ton of sleep supplement/formulations. None will work for everyone. But this combo of magnesium, magnolia bark, and 5htp (plus a couple other things) is very solid. The combination appears to be far more effective than any one component.

Nothing works for everyone. This one is dose specific. It says to go up to 2 tablets, but you can go up to 4. I would recommend not taking it every night if you can help it, but that's true for all sleep remedies. You body will get too used to it.

Start 1 pill for 3 days. If that doesn't help, go up to 2 for 3 more days. For most people, 1 or 2 work, but some people will need to go higher (note there's only 30 pills in a bottle). If after 30 days it doesn't work, move on the next one. Go to a good health food store even CVS and Walgreens, have some pretty good sleep aids these days.

If one doesn't work, keep trying.. Don't assume the formulations are the same. Keep trying a natural forumla if you can before meds. Ambien and Xanax are not good long term sleep solutions, but you have to be creative to find other options. SleepCycle is a good formulation and another good option. Single supplements such as Melatonin, L-Tryptophan, Magnesium or a Magnesium/Calcium sleep blend can work. Formulations such as Hyland Calms Forte, Natural Factors Stress-Relax Tranquil Sleep, are good. Many others exist

However, SleepSolve is now my first recommendation to try. Give every supplement 30 days to really let you body adapt if you have enough patience. You can even try it while on sleep meds to see if you can learn to wean down on the sleep meds. It won't hurt all natural supplements.

I have been taking Benadryl as a sleep aid for some time. I thought I would try this product to give my body a break from it for a while. I took 2 of these Sleep Solves at 6 pm. I bought this for my mom. With arthritis all over her body taking a bath is like climbing Mount Everest somedays. I assumed by now that contraptions like this had to exist but once I did my homework I didn't know where to buy it. Again, it hit me: "I bet Amazon has it" and sure enough there is was. It isn't that hard to set up although like all instruction manuals it wasn't detailed like I would have liked. It comes with 4 suction cups to anchor it in the tub. They will stick on a good, clean surface but you have to put a lot of pressure. It kept slipping until I decided to get in the tub and stand on each corner as best as I could. That worked. The top/back of the lift slips in horizontally into it's groves. Make sure the hand control is charged for 4 hours before this. Once the top is in place lift it up vertically and a little to the back. Plug in the hand control on the back and hit the yellow triangle. This starts the center poll/lifting thingy to start moving. The little T bar MUST slip in the area just behind the red clip. It will catch and when that does catch the seat will begin to lift. Although she has trouble lifting her legs over the edge of the tub once she's in she sits and making sure she's on it as balanced as possible I lower her in the tub using the blue triangle. If you have an old tub like she does take into consideration that you may lose 4 or more inches in length in the tub once inside it. The suction cups have to be as flat as possible to hold well. The curved/sloped area could make it difficult to hold. I get it back as far as I can and she's ok but not completely comfortable. If you are tall I hope you have a long tub. Still, it's been a life saver all around. I was fearing that she would have to go into a nursing home if I couldn't handle this on my own. Her mind is as sharp as ever and this lift kept her from vegetating in a home. I can't thank you enough.

This lift chair was going to be a hopeful tool for a hip patient and does the job but leaves more than a little concern. There is absolutely no customer support from Drive Medical. We sent a few emails to them about problems with the charger and the fact that the displayed unit on amazon with the blue cushion is inaccurate and that the unit comes with a white cushion. It does lift a 180 pound person but makes clunking noises and will likely last for a shorter time than expected. We also filled out a questionaire from amazon on this unit and heard nothing from that either. We buy a ton of stuff from amazon but in the future will buy nothing from amazon sold by others. If you want customer support this is not your lift chair.

Bought this lift for my mother-in-law who started having trouble getting up from the tub. I really wanted to like these because let's face it, it takes a certain comfort level in your relationship to wear frownies to bed at night, and Furlesse are practically invisible. But they are just not as good as Frownies at eliminating those lines, and they also seem harder on the skin...left a reddish triangle that took hours to dissipate every morning! Hard to use on oily skin as well. Too bad. They are practically invisible from a distance so I do wear them around the house and while in the car until I run out. I've been furrowing for a few years. A couple things I noticed while using them -

1. Keep an eye out for any new creases that may start around them. You may need to readjust your strip's position. For me, a crease was created across the bridge of my nose where the bottom of the strip was. Last thing I needed is a new and strange wrinkle. So I just repositioned it a bunch lower and the creasing stopped.

2. These strips will grab onto hair! So if you have eyebrows that are closer together, hairy or a unibrow, be prepared for a "waxing" when you pull your furlesse strip off. For me, this wasn't a bad thing (I had fine hairs between my brows). It was like two beauty treatments in one, but I have to be careful about the rest of my brows since I put my strip low.

3. The forehead can get sore when starting to use these. Like I said before, the brow muscles get retrained and I think they may start to atrophy (at least mine probably are...I did most of my furrowing at night from stress). For me, this soreness went away after using the strips for a week.

All that aside, I'm very pleased with Furlesse. Way better and cheaper than botox or surgery (which I would never use), and it's been very effective for me. About a week of using the strips, my brow creases have disappeared--which blows my mind because I've been developing those lines for at least 4 years. :)

They are super gentle on my skin so I can wear them all day (at home -I'm lucky, I know) and it helps me from furrowing my brow as much. I LOVE these! They are Very Reusable, just by resticking them on the sticker sheet, then resticking them on you! Seem they might last several uses at least, which is what Frownies claim, though I've never been able to do that.

Sleep Right Melatonin 5 mg, 275 pills Time Released

First things firstthis is a 275 pill bottle. I'd suggest going to the local pharmacy and getting a smaller and less expensive bottle to determine if your sleep cycle is responsive to Melatonin supplements. It seems that some people just aren'ttheir sleep issues are related to something else and this has no real effect. If you determine that Melatonin works for you, this is a great product and what I use.

In my case, melatonin worked as well as any prescription product and boy, did I ever try them all, including exotic stuff. After a while, my doctor started prescribing me off-the-wall sleep medicines like Chloral Hydratestuff that regular pharmacies didn't even carry in stock and caused the pharmacist to give me weird looks.

Someone suggested Melatonin to me; I scoffed.

If six different prescriptions of the pharmaceutical industry's best wasn't doing the trick, could an off the shelf product really work? After doing some research and learning that Melatonin is actually a controlled substance in many countries, I figured there must be something 'credible' to it. As a weary American consumer who is quite sick and tired of fantastic claims made by various "over the counter" supplements that turn out to be nothing more than bald-faced lies, I am very cynical of most 'over the counter remedies'. Also worth nothing that personally speaking, I'm very low on the 'placebo responder' scale. If something doesn't have an involuntary effect on my body, my mind just isn't cut from the cloth that tries to convince itself something is happening. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, I'll know.

For me, Melatonin worked. I do take a rather large dose at 15mg, but I'm a rather large guy. Three pills 45 minutes before bed, I'm good to go.

It's worth doing research on this and understanding what it is. These pills are a synthetic hormone (ergo Melatonin's controlled status in many countries) that duplicate a natural hormone released by the brain during darkness, to precipitate sleep cycle onset.

The studies on Melatonin seem to go either way, but I'm a believer that there are few magic bullets. All people are different and may have similar problems caused by different biological issues. It's entirely possible that Melatonin may work for you as it did for me, but it may not work for your girlfriend, as it didn't for mine. That's why I suggest starting with a small bottle to see if this addresses an issue unique to your body.

I haven't noticed any negative side effects.

There is some drowsiness in the morning, but it's more of a 'deep sleep' drowsiness, rather than the intense, chemically induced drowsiness caused by the hard core pharmaceutical products. Also, I did notice that I developed a tolerance to it over time and have to scale off it for a month or so, to get another three or four months of effective treatment.

Overall, try it. If you find it works for you, you will classify it as a five star product too. I'm very happy I discovered this.

I have used other brands of melatonin with varying degrees of success. Since I have been using this product,the ease with which I fall asleep is significantly improved. If I awaken in the middle of the night, I am able to return to a deep and restful sleep this I have NEVER been able to do before, and therefore the quality of my sleep has been vastly improved. I had never been a big fan of sleeping pills; especailly ones potentially addictive ones. This was my third try with a melatonin product and I was pleasantly suprised that it actually worked. I sometimes have trouble sleeping and have tried different products over the years. I used to buy a melatonin product that didnt really work for me. for quite a while, I was using benadryl but learned that this was a bad idea because benadryl doesnt allow you to hit the third and fourth levels of sleep that are necessary for good long term health. I sometimes used tylenol sinus night time but learned that it can be very hard on the liver and knew that it wasnt a good longer term plan.

Insomnia has been a problem for me for about 4 years. It has been hard to go to sleep, and almost impossible to return to sleep if I woke up during the night. New Chapter Zyflamend NIGHTTIME, 60 Softgels

It's always so hard to tell if an anti-inflammation product or diet is working because inflammation is caused by so many different things, but I have noticed a difference since taking Zyflamend. I think that Zyflamend is a good alternative to powerful NSAIDs. I peridically take Etodolac XL for acute back pain, and recently substituted Zyflamend. What I noticed was not an immediate analgesic effect like the medication; however WITH STEADY USE I did notice a definitely positive result. It took me a couple of weeks to tell for sure, and then I tested it by going on and off. I will continue with Zyflamend on an ongoing basis instead of taking the medication when I am in pain and then going off of it. I think that this is the way that the Zyflamend works best to reduce inflammation.

I didn't notice any problems with digestive upset or burning, but I always took it on a full stomach just in case, since my stomach is pretty sensitive. The softgel capsule is rather large, though I didn't have any problem with that either, but people who have problems swallowing pills should know that.

I would recommend it for people to take and to experiment with it, using their medication as backup, and with their physician's supervision of course. In my case my problem is not so severe that I go to a doctor every time I have an episode, and I think it works best for people with problems like this. People who are already on strong pain medications and NSAIDs and under a doctor's care should of course first check with her or him.

The material is thick enough that sunlight doesn't get through it, the eyemask is oversized, and the headband hold tight but not so tight that it causes a headache.

I tried one the memory foam eye-masks ....it was way too hot and pushed down too hard for my taste. After 5 years the elastic just started to lose its elasticity. This is my favorite (and also my boyfriend's favorite I finally got him the one of his own with a more "manly" print.

This mask is really lightweight and soft with its silk back. It is flexible and pretty soft over the eyes. Small elastic strap fits perfectly.

Larger from top to bottom than most similar masks so blocks out more light. Some light still gets in around nose area.

Probably not as good for light blocking and eye comfort as those masks with space for nose and eyes. Still really soft and much prettier!

I can't vouch for the anti dandruff or hair loss aid working or not, but with all the great effects I'm getting out of using this I would not doubt that it does work.

So in summery, it's cheap, came in good condition, smells very herbal, the sent lasts a long time, cooling has long duration, it does indeed stop scalp itching caused by dryness and heat, it eases head aches, and lowers the pain and itching around my wounded leg.

I love this stuff and plan on getting more.

After a lifetime of insomnia, I discovered Melatonin in a Newsweek article about 20 years ago and now I can fall asleep when I need to, instead of 3 or 4 hours later than that. Unfortunately, the supplement manufacturers offer it in enormous doses--far higher than anyone needs, which can lead to other problems. I started at 3 milligrams, then tried 1 milligram, which worked just as well. When I found the 300-microgram dose on the shelf, I tried that and it was perfect. 300 micrograms is only ONE-THIRD OF A MILLIGRAM, and it is still more than sufficient to induce sleep I have searched every store in my area and can't find that dosage, so I turned to Amazon. The only drawback is that I have to buy 6 bottles at a time, which is enough for about 18 months, but at least I have it on hand.

Highly pure Melatonin that does it's job(especially when combined with Tryptophan and 5-htp), but only going to give it 2 stars since it's hard to swallow because of the chalky consistency and rough edges on this pill. I have NO problems swallowing pills, even large horse sized pills that others complain about...but these pills are a pain to swallow. I wish sundown would make them into a gel type pill or just smoothen out the edges..would make it much easier to swallow.

Pranamat ECO - Natural Linen & Violet Lotuses

I am giving this mat 5 stars, even though at $99 dollars (down from the usual $129and I DID see it in a catalog for $129), I think it's kind of pricey. It has free shipping from Amazon though, so that's good.

The reason this mat rates 5 stars from me is that it actually, really and truly, works! Be VERY careful, especially when you first begin to use it because the leaves of the accupressure lotuses (flowers) are so sharp, they can easily cut you! But, one becomes accustomed to this and it is well-worth doing so. You just lay on the mat (it can be on a bed, on the floor, the couch, etc.) and do whatever you want. It is entirely effortless!

I guess if one were to listen to relaxing music or something that would enhance the effects of the mat, but I've never done that and I'm perfectly happy with the results I have seen. I feel like if I had to listen to a certain MP3 or CD or whatever, that would feel like a chore and detract from the delightful effortlessness of the whole thing!

So, here's what the Pranamat does for me: If I am feeling at all stressed, it relaxes muscle tension and calms my mind. On more than one occasion, I have gone from being really stressed out to sound asleep, so be aware of this if you use it in the day and you have to do something at an appointed time!

I use it primarily at night. I sleep on the darn thing! I used to have to put a blanket on top of it, and would suggest that anyone new to using it do AT LEAST that (the first month, my legs looked like I had lost a battle with a kitten), but as other reviewers have said, you actually do get used to the sharpness of the lotus leaves.

One more thing about the price: I do have to say, the makers of this product cut no corners. The embroidery is excellent and obviously done with great care, the quality of the plastic lotuses (medical grade plastic) is high, the fabrics chosen are top notch. Now, of course you don't NEED beautiful embroidery, etc., for this to be an invaluable stress-reducer, but that's how they decided to make it, so I can see why the price is what it is.

All in all, this is the first stress-relieving product that I continue to use almost every day, month after month, because (other than the first few cuts!!which I could have avoided by getting onto and off of it more carefully) it is just a great pleasure to use! It feels GOOD to lie on it (not nude, not yet anyway, as others suggest, ouch!), even before the relaxation effect kicks in.

In a younger body and previous times, I'd regularly make summer trips to Action Park in New Jersey. Which had activities such as rope swing, bungee jumping, slingshot (like reverse bungee jump shot up into sky), steep steep water slides, and the awesome alpine slide which went down their (in the wintertime-)ski mountain slope plastic, winding, half-tubes upon which sat your sled upon which sat you. Holding just one lever push down to go, pull up to slow. And glide the sharp curves down the mountain. Well half the persons walking around the park were scarred from slipping on the alpine slide and burning their flesh on contact with the plastic tube; the rope swing was really dangerous you could flip and do whatever you wanted. Of course, they were sued and shut down and reopened with new names and less fun rides. Anyway, this mat is anything but chaotic and crazy, but it really works, and it's really enjoyable. The first couple of minutes on it, it feels quite uncomfortable, but stick with it. That totally goes away in just 2-3 maybe 4 minutes. Then it has had the following various effects on my body/mind: I've fallen asleep-in the daytime-which otherwise never happens. I've fallen into a meditative state. And I've used it to kill pain in localized areas such as lower back, upper back, and neck. The guidebook that comes with it is short, simple, and perfect. And it does mention, don't just slide off this mat, or you may scrape your skin on the sharp lotus points. Muggles would never get past the first few minutes of discomfort or believe in its potential enough to even get on it in the first place. But for the rest of us, this is gold. I mean, for me, a yoga class is the best, but it's nice to have this as a backup and for extra treatment. Essential for people unable or momentarily unwilling to be active. Finally, I'm glad I dropped the extra dollars on this one instead of the one "recommnded on the dr oz show" that I first came across. It really is beautiful, and for those in tune (and those not), emits a holy energy.
