I have used melatonin as a sleep aid for years. I find the common 3mg tablets are more than necessary and prefer the lowest dosage of 1 mg.

They are a bit harder to find but no need to O.D. if you don't need to. Also dials down the dreams to near zero for me.

I've taken melatonin a long time, and it definitely works for me. I really like this 1mg dosage, which is very hard to find in drugs stores. It is the perfect dosage for me. I've read that different people require different doses of Melatonin to accomplish the good sleep they're looking for, and that's true in my experience. For me, any more than 1 or 1.5 mg at night will leave me feeling strange the whole next day. I can't explain the feeling any better than just "strange." It's messing with the hormone balance, I'm guessing.

But locally I've only found dosages of 3 mg and more, so I end up cutting the pills, which often shatters them. I finally gave up and ordered these 1 mg pills, and so far they're perfect for me. And price-wise, these are a much better value than anything purchased locally, as well.

One thing I've noticed about Melatonin is, it's just like normal sleepiness. If you're not feeling well otherwise, have aches in the body or problems on your mind, it's not necessarily going to give you a full night's sleep. On those occasions, it tends to get me to sleeping ok, but only to wake up again a short time later, repeatedly for most of the night. So for those times, a regular sleeping pill becomes necessary. Or I just stay up and read. That's just me. As I said, apparently everyone reacts differently to Melatonin.

The 1mg dose makes it a lot easier to set my own dose. I generally take just one, but some nights I step up to taking two. It's much easier and more accurate than trying to score and cut the standard 3mg pills.

One thing to watch out for is that these pills are not coated. That doesn't bother me, but it might bother some people.

PSS: This medication has also had another interesting side effect on me. And that is, that it decreases my desire to smoke. My guess is that, since I am getting a better night's sleep, I don't need the neuro-sedative effect of the nicotine. But I am only a surgeon, a good family doctor or internist should be able to explain that positive side effect better than I .

This product works ok but doesn't work as well as other less expensive brands. Upside is you don't feel groggy like the other brands in the morning. Downside it's harder to get and stay asleep. Also the taste was kind of artifical tasting. Id prefer natural orange or lemon. The strawberry taste was a bit odd at best. Personally i will look for another brand.

Flents Contour Ear Plugs - Soft Comfort! 10 Pair

(#1 REVIEWER)My significant other snores, so I've become an expert on ear plugs.

I have tried quite a few of them and Flents Contour is my favorite. Below is a summary of my experiences with different ear plugs. I hope you will find it useful. Other then the noise protection, the important factors for me are: if the plugs stay in your ear, and if they are breathable (some of them made my ear canals hot and sweaty, that makes them itch, and itching wakes me up).

* Flents Quiet Contour, molded foam, 33 decibels.

This is my favorite ear plug. It gives me the best noise protection, it stays in the ear very well, it is comfortable, my ear canal does not get hot and itchy. I find the most comfortable. (see attached photo of the plug out of the package)

* Flent Quiet Time, comfort foam, 33 decibels. I like these earplugs less thant Quiet Contour because it does not seem to stay in my ear as well. The ends of the foam seem to stick out and catch on the pillow when I turn, catching the end on the pillow pulls them out of my year. I got it to stay in the ear better by trimming about 3/8th of an inch. Because they tend to fall out, I don't get as good of a sleep in them. However, when they are in the sound protection is good. (see attached photo of the full size ear plug, and the one that is trimmed to be shorter)

* Mack's pillow soft earplugs (sillicone), 22 decibels. These earplugs did not work for me at all. They did not provide enough sound protection, my ear canal got hot and sweaty and itchy, and they also tend to fall out.

* Hearos ear plugs,ultimate softness, 32 decibels. Hearos are slightly shorter than Flent Quiet time, so they don't stick out of my ear, and this means they don't catch the pillow and don't get pulled out. They are also slightly softer, and provide a little less protection. Overall they are comfortable, but I find that my ears get hot and sweaty using them. This makes them itchy, and needing to itch wake me up.

* Hearos ear plugs, Xtreme protection Series, 33 decibels. Hearos are slightly shorter than Flent Quiet time, so they don't stick out of my ear, and thus stay in better. They are firmer than Hearos ultimate softness so they provide more noise protection. Overall they are comfortable, but I find that my ears get hot and sweaty using them.

I've struggled with needing ear plugs to sleep for a couple of years my spouse snores, sometimes quite loudly. We've sought as much care as is possible for his sort of snoring, but the problem persists and I really must sleep sometime! My difficulty is that I have very small ear canals for an adult. My doctor must literally get a pediatric size otoscope speculum to examine my ears. Consequently, normal earplugs are way oversized for me . . . and child size earplugs seem to be mostly aimed at keeping water out (for the ear-tube crowd, an important job to be sure) rather than keeping noise out. If I do get a whole earplug into my canal, it becomes quite painful as it begins to expand. I've tried cutting down adult size earplugs, but it just does not work for me.

These ear plugs have been a revelation. The difference in foam composition makes the plug respond slower, and with less force yet the noise protection is top notch. It seems to only expand to a given force inside a given space that is, I think they would expand a bit bigger, in someone else's canal. I'm not sure if the contour plays a role in my specific need or not, but I think it can't hurt since contour = less material in some sections of the plug.

Although it's not my primary need/discomfort relative to other earplugs, I do also appreciate the less sweaty/itchy feel of this material.

I am sleeping so much better since I acquired this set. Don't blink at the small cost difference between these plugs and others they are worth every penny, and you will go through them very slowly if you keep track of them day to day. I combine these with a great sleep mask (I like the memory foam mask for TOTAL blackout) and I am no longer walking around in a permanent state of sleep deprivation.

Unless you have really large ear canals, do not buy these ear plugs. I have what I would consider to be normal size ear canals and need ear plugs to drown out my spouse's bear like snoring. These did not work at all and stuck out so far that they just kept falling out if I would even slightly knock them. If you need something for loud noises to sleep, look elsewhere. These are not worth the money at all. Very disappointed.

I have used ear plugs for many many years. I just got whatever was on sale at the local drug store. It took me awhile to get used to them and now I can't ever sleep with out them even when there is no noises. I got so used to the vacuum feeling you get and complete silence.

The quality is fine, as far as I can tell, but the form factor is atrocious. I don't have any trouble swallowing pills, and usually don't even bother to use water, but these are an unpleasant challenge. They're very large and have a rough dry surface. Source Naturals Inositol/Choline is a nice find because it combines two common agents used in cognitive enhancement. The drawback is that the form of choline used (i.e., choline bitartrate) does not have the highest bioavailability. In other words, it doesn't absorb well under normal conditions. Third, a diet that is a diet in other words, do not reduce your food consumption, alter your food consumption to healthier habits (in fact, a caloric increase might be necessary with cognitive enhancement).

But take note that many nootropics (cognitive enhancers) work synergistically; namely, they require the presence of other substances to actually work choline and inositol are synergistic, but other substances can be of great aid too. Aniracetum is a great choice to combine with these two mentioned, still, others can be added too; for example: phenylethylamine HCL, phosphatidyl-serine, acetyl-l-carnitine, acetyl-l-tyrosine, alpha lipoic acid, DHA, Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba, dopa mucuna, etc. Cognitive enhancement regiments can deplete levels of standard minerals in the body this is one reason why a decent vitamin and mineral supplement is so important. Some of the listed nootropics can react negatively with antidepressants particularly those like MAOIs and to some extent SSRIs, SNRIs, &/or NRIs if you take any medication of this sort, consult a physician before you begin putting these substances into your body. In fact, even if you do not take those particular medications, a physician will be willing to listen and advise you according to your specific goals and your specific needs, even if it is cognitive enhancement.

As for the size of the pill in question, I have been supplementing for some time now with the aim at cognitive enhancement the size of this pill is not outside of the norm. If you feel like this is a giant pill, take a look at a 1000mg supplement of l-Lysine hydrochloride & report back it has different benefits, but if you can acclimate yourself to taking that, these will go down absolutely without discomfort. But, if it truly is that difficult for you to get the pill down, you could try a pill splitter, but you will be left with rough edges on the pill discomfort could turn to irritation or pain; or you could grind it down with a mortar and pestle and mix it with food, but there is taste factor that will make it difficult to get down too. I've tried the powdered route mixed with shakes even with piracetam (extremely bitter) and it works, but you have to take the shake down in one effort, no sipping you will likely engage your gag reflex depending on how dilute you make the mixture. Simply put, the pill as manufactured is designed to go down with the least amount of discomfort. A last resort, if you simply cannot get the pill down, then just buy the two supplements independently don't force yourself on pressure of others to something that could result in harm to yourself.

For Source Natural's product, I like the combination it is sufficient in my regiment and saves me money; however, it appears many reviewers are dealing with serious illnesses I would study carefully what you can get from this and other supplements; many can help, but many can also have other unknown and/or unconsidered side-effects. I would personally get a physician's opinion, especially if you begin a regiment of supplements or if you want to alter the recommended dosages they will listen to your concerns; if they do not, then they are not true professionals and a reevaluation of which physician you see may be in order. This is a nice concealer if you don't want to look too made up but need to even out some problem areas. I'm using it for sun spots and occasional acne. I like this product, but I don't love it. I find that it covers very well but I wish I would've gotten the light/medium shade instead of medium.. it was a little dark but nothing a little bit of loose powder won't fix. I also find that it applies very dry if you don't moisturize very well first. I will buy this again but in a lighter shade :) I love how it covers redness but it doesn't last all day. I find that it rubs off after a few hours, wish it lasted longer.

The Body Shop Body Butter

I love the Brazil Nut Body Butter! I really do, so Im glad youve asked for my review! It absorbs quickly and aids in dry skin healing immediately. I like to layer it a few times over the course of an hour or so. I just cant live without it actually. I had tried with failure, alot of different moisturizers on the market over the years, wasting a ton of money on what I would say is basically false advertising of products that are mostly water and wax based, and was given this butter a few years ago by a friend and have been ordering it ever since. It pays for itself with the first use, and is not only excellent for dry hands but legs and well, just about anywhere you want healed, soft real skin again. I use it on my cuticles after manicures and have instant results there too! I totally recommend it to anyone who just cant get their dry skin to heal and be truly soft. Its not to heavy for summer use either, its just perfect.

My husband swears by The Body Shop's line of hemp products to help keep his super super super dry skin under control. This Hemp Body Butter isn't always part of his daily routine, but particularly during the winter months it often is. Like many body butters, this one contains both cocoa and shea butters (which is all Fair Trade). It also has Babassu oil, which I can't claim to know much about, but is supposed to be a good, light, non-pore-clogging moisturizer. The hemp seed oil in this product is what really sets it apart. Like another reviewer noted, the hemp seed oil is really good for helping skin repair itself (either for disease-based problems like psoriasis or environmentally caused damage, like from dry air) and absorb moisture more effectively thanks to its incredibly high concentration of fatty acids.

The only drawback about this product is a subjective one: its scent. Many people don't mind the scent of these hemp creams, but some do. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, which is sort of grassy and herbal but does sometimes have that yeasty smell of stale beer. The good thing is that the strength of the fragrance diminishes rapidly with time. If you're the one using the product, you'll still be able to smell it on yourself, but it's not overpowering for someone sitting next to you. It's a very unisex fragrance regardless, and if you normally use cologne or perfume it would cover the smell of the Body Butter easily.

Overall, I do recommend this product. It's a thick, uber-moisturizer that can help your skin "help itself" if you use it regularly. It would be best for those with dry skin, since oily or normal skin types would probably find it to be too much unless used very infrequently. It is probably one of the better body butters out there for real skin therapy and improvement, going on creamily and soaking in to leave non-greasy, satisfied skin in its wake.

I bought this on a whim a year ago and it's still one of my all-time favorite products. I use it daily, and a little goes a long way I'm not even halfway done with the container. Unlike other body butters, this one absorbs fast, and isn't greasy it's just smooth, and has a subtle, fantastic smell. It doesn't smell like olives per se just something faintly perfect.

I love that this body butter is silky light and smooths on easily. I never feel like I'm covered in grease, but just have a nice moisturized feeling. Personally, I don't care for Horlicks, preferring non-fat milk, but my husband, 86, of English background says this is his favorite bedtime drink. I just finished the entire box. So let me say, it worked 8 times out of 12. I took one pill every night and it took me 10-30 minutes to fall asleep. The times it didn't work was when fireworks were going off all night for 4th of july or i ate a little too much close to bed time. As others have pointed out, this is basically Benadryl. That does help one sleep, but to buy it in this form is pretty costly. It worked okay for me, and it knocked my wife out cold, but, again, I can take Benadryl for that effect too.

What I would like to point out is how difficult the blister packaging was to open. I have big strong hands, and it was frustrating to open the packs, to the point where I just used a scissors after a while. My wife faced the same problem.

At this price point, with packaging this frustrating, I'll pass on ZzzQuil from now on and just buy some generic Benadryl.

So I began to take this after having trouble sleeping for over a year. Daily exercise, a healthy diet, and a steady job helped, but I was still staying up way to late, even after going to work for seven hours and exercising for another 90 minutes. Picked this up whilst at Wal-Mart because it was fairly inexpensive. I'm over half way through the box and have slept marvelously ever since. The ONLY thing worth mentioning about this product is that ever night I've taken it I have had very long and detailed dreams. My dreams are vivid and I can remember them perfectly for days after. Sleep Pretty in Pink Women's Ear Plugs, 14-Pair (Pack of 3)

These earplugs expand before I can even get them in my ear, so the fit is never snug enough to filter noise; they just fall out. Useless.

These are by far the best foam plugs I've found. I wonder if it is all just personal fit?

I do find that after a certain amount of use they don't compress well anymore, but when they are new they go into my small canals and block EVERYTHING. They last months before they stop working well for me.

For the last five years (at least) I have used the Pretty in Pink plugs and cannot sleep without them. I always carry at least two pairs with me at all times because I'm really sensitive to noise. I can easily develop a migraine from the most common sounds in a store (i.e., crying children, advertising over the loud speaker, people arguing on their cell phones, or the HD televisions playing different videos at the same time). They have been life-savers to me.

But.....lately, when I wear the Pretty in Pink ear plugs, they don't block the noise like before. I didn't think it would be necessary to have ear plugs especially for women. Honestly when I first saw them I thought that the packaging and color were just a gimmick to draw women to them over the others. Stay on Satin wrapping scarf style #7879

I've been usually these scarves since 2004. They made my hair grow like grass (people used to tell me). I would stock up. I'd wear them when my hair was pressed & when my hair was curly, at night. It says don't wear them when your hair is wet b/c it will take some of the treatment out of the scarf. But, I did it anyway b/c I never wanted my hair to go untreated. I would rate this as a 10 back in 2004. But about 2 years ago (2010), I noticed they started making the scarves cheaper & not putting as much of the growth product in. I could tell b/c the smell of the scarf used to be SO much stronger as soon as you took it out of the package. I even stopped using the scarf for frequently b/c I thought my hair & scalp may have gotten immune to the product in the scarf. But, I never saw results when I went back to the scarf!

I would no longer recommend this product. I still use them on occassion b/c I'm so used to it at this point. (I just use it as a scarf not necessarily for growth). I can definitely tell that the company has capitalized on the demand for hair grow products. They've decreased the amount of formula in the each scarf, in order to stretch it out, to make more money!

I got a small one of these for my daughter who has a short angled bob, and wrapping this on her head makes her not wake up with crazy hair, awesome. However I ordered the longer one for me because I have long hair. I have never used the product because it didn't come with wrapping instructions, so I have no clue how to get my hair in it. I've played with it a bit trying to figure it out, and nothing. Usage instructions are necessary!!!! The small one my daughter uses works well, and doesn't make her hair greasy or anything, and it does seem to grow quicker. Overall a good product, but it's useless unless you already know how to use it.

I don't usually write reviews here, but I was on Amazon to reorder these and thought I should. These have helped me so much. I had a radical hysterectomy at age 30w/ ovary removal. Thank God we were lucky enough to have a baby boy before hand..

For the 1st 2 years I was on a prescribed estrodiol patch. I gained so much weight and felt like crap...it was hard just getting through the day caring for my toddler boy. I started looking into alternatives and went to a doctor who took me off the patch cold turkey and gave me a prescription for progesterone instead. This was not the answer either. So then I found a holistic doctor who actually did bloodwork and checked all sorts of levels and he prescribed bio-identical hormones. I felt really good at first but then he kept upping the doses and my heart palpitations came back, I told him but he didnt think it was related. His appointments cost me $3000 over the course of 4 months, and it just got to be too much money for us. I took myself off of all of the bhrt he had me on and the palpitations went away.

So then after another month of investigation I found this product. It has helped me tremendously. I also take another product sold here on Amazon called Organic Excellence Progesterone Plus Therapy. Between these Oceans 3 pills and the cream I feel pretty balanced now. I only take 3 of these Oceans 3 per day at breakfast along with my cream. The bottle says to gradually increase from 3 to 9 pills a day but I have never tried. It would cost much more to do so..That would be a bottle of these every 1.5 weeks or so about 3 bottles per month which would make the monthly cost of this product around $70 or so.

But, taking the 3 pills and a bottle lasting me 1 month has seemed to be a big help. Plus, it's also not only helping me achieve hormonal balance but protecting my heart and so forth as well. On a side noteI do think BHRT can be great, but finding someone to prescribe the CORRECT dose and not steal your savings is the problem. Perhaps that will change in the future but for now I'm sticking to the progesterone cream and these wonderful pills here. I have a son who is now 5 yrs old to think of and a husband..I cant take any chances w/ my life by taking synthetics and products that may shorten my lifespan.

ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask Frame System

This is a very good mask. Seals well around face and is comfortable, witch is very important when you have to sleep in it. The only down side is that you have to be home to sign for the package it or go and pick it up at the post office.

This is a great mask to have. I have another one of these I like them.

My mask had two problems however one was the cushion seal and when the cushion fails to seal you really have a problem.

I notified seller resmed sent me another cushion promptly. That cushion sealed. just be aware any leakage in a seal is uneceptable.

Also had a problem with exhaust there is a tiny band that goes on this exhaust these little bands can't cost more than five cents

however these bans are over two vents in the exhaust and can leak mine did. I did not contact the seller on this.

My old mirage had this part I put it on my new one it is working now. Check your mask very very carefully it is your health.

you can get faulty stuff even from lincare ( big medical equipment co) so do not be afraid to try these masks they are far more reasonable.
