I've been using a CPAP for sleep apnea since 1994. Until recently my health insurance covered CPAP equipment and supplies, but with the coverage that I have now, I'm responsible for buying the supplies. I use a ResMed Ultra Mirage II mask with the ResMed headgear. As well-made as the headgear is, after a couple of years, the velcro loses its stickiness and doesn't work well. After shopping around, I found the best price for the headgear was at Amazon, so I ordered it. The item was not eligible for Prime 2-day shipping, but delivery was only five days (including a weekend) after I ordered, and the headgear was authentic ResMed.The ResMed headgear is as good or better than any CPAP headgear I've had, and I'm very satisfied with it.

I must have been one of the first buyers of this item and it shows. The idea is great, the design is good but needs some improvement. On one side there are minor glitches that will keep improving via the upgradable firmware. Glitches such as getting pacing data in feet/second despite having chosen meters/second in the setup, not being able to choose the correct age or weight but in multiples of 5, not being able to export or correct training data from the web app, etc.Then there are the major issues. Battery will last for two one hour swimming sessions at the max. What is surprising is the rete of battery consumption in watch mode, which should be equivalent to a regular watch, so the best option is to turn it off when not in use. The other major glitch is not having heart rate measurment.
I don't want to look negative, this is a good piece of equipment and would buy it again, but it shows that swimming computers are a new breed of training computers and there is still a lot of room for improvement.

I've bought the Swimsense watch immediately after it was available in Europe. Since then I swam a few hundred kilometers wearing it. Basically unless I forgot to take it with me I used it.I had some problems at the beginning with stroke type recognition but as the firmware was updated these problems disappeared almost completely. I also had some problems with the watch itself, but excellent support solved it quickly by sending me a new unit. I don't really like the web application which is the official way to manage your workouts right now, but since you can export your swims to a CSV file I created my own site that lets me see exactly what I want so I'm happy. Coming back to the watch itself, it is really important to have a strong push off and not to take pauses as you swim. While nobody does that intentionally you don't always have your own lane and then it becomes a problem. I think setting your minimum time per 25/50m would solve half of these automatically as now I sometimes end up with a 25m breast swam in 10 seconds which is something I will never achieve in real life :)
Pros:
It does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well (counting laps + recognizing stroke type)
You can get a decent idea if you are improving or not.
It lets you export your workouts to CSV for further analysis using your own software!
Battery life is really good
Cons:
It does not let you count laps made doing drills, not even a simple push-counter.
As a result of that some people are discouraged from drills and they are so important!
New features which were promised a long time ago still haven't been delivered :/
Online application needs a facelift and a lot of features!
Summary:
If you are looking for something that will keep you motivated, let you analyze more less how efficient you are this is what you are looking for. On the other hand it is definitely not a timing device. It will give you a decent idea on your lap times, but I'd say it's +/1 second precise. This device has a lot of room for improvement and hopefully the dev team will work on it, although for this price I'm absolutely satisfied with this watch. Looking forward to the next generation if/when it comes :)

I've had my device for many months. The 1st one stopped mid swim for no apparent reason. It was replaced. The lap counting and distance can be either marginally off or wildly off.I use my Timex Ironman with stopwatch to keep track of my laps when i use Swimsense to make sure I am getting an accurate count. My own calculation for laps is almost always different than the Swimsense. I still have no confidence on getting accurate readings. I've just complained to support and so far none of their suggestions are worthwhile...
In short, I really want this watch to work, but it just doesn't!!!

The watch isn't perfect. It doesn't always pick up my stroke correctly. But it is very easy to use, smaller than I expected it would be, and great for recording intervals/rest time. The software (online) bundle is good for analyzing your swim, but it doesn't yet allow user edits (BIG minus) nor does it download to Sporttracks (small minus for now . . . they're planning to develop this capability). Bought these for my girlfriend, since I tend to make a bit of noise while I'm sleeping. They were small enough to fit in her ears no problem, but small does come with its own problems; they got stuck in her ears once and required needle-nose pliers to remove. As a result, we switched to a larger earplug which doesn't fit as well but won't get stuck as bad either.
Mirage Swift II Frame
This, personally, is the best CPAP mask/nasal pillow out there. I have tried so many some weren't bad and I could live with them, but they are nothing compared to this one.I completely forget I have this on and sleep all the way through the night. I bought a spare just in case they stop making it. The key is using the right size for your nose. I am a BIG guy, but I use the small pillow. I would also like to note that they stand up to the pressure. I have my CPAP set at 18 out of 20. That's pretty high pressure. The only piece to ever go out is the very inexpensive seals.
I hope this helps someone as much as it did me. My search is over!
Aquis Microfiber Hair Towel, Lisse Crepe (19 x 39-Inches)
My review of this product is that it performed exactly as it said it would. In response to Georgia Girl's review, I kind of think it's irresponsible to write 1 star reviews on products when you're unhappiness is not about the product. This towel is clearly 19X39 inches. There are 12 inches in a foot. That means it's about 3 feet long. How can one criticize it for being "too short" when the title clearly states how long it is? Also, if one is looking for a longer towel there is a body towel that is, as clearly stated, 29x55 inches.As for the drying, the towel is very absorbant. However, if the towel is "too short" and you attempt to wrap lots of sopping wet hair up in it, you may be dissapointed. That's like sopping up a puddle with a sheet of bounty it's all relative. Be smart, buy the size you need and you will be impressed with the amount of water it picks up. I'd also recommend the doggie dryer It's become a staple in our lives like dog food and his leash. It goes just about everywhere the dog does now if the trip at all involves water!
Right out of the bag, even before it was washed, this thing was amazing. I have very curly hair that goes past my shoulders, and as you curly girls know, hair like that can be very temperamental if it's not treated just so. I use the dreadfully-named, but effective, Deva Curl No Poo shampoo and the Deva Curl One Condition. Then, the touch-and-go post-shower routine. If my hair is too wet when I put in gel, the water weighs it down and it sets flat. If it's too dry, the gel doesn't distribute and my hair turns to a half-straight, half-afro abomination. This towel gets it just dry enough, right out of the shower, so I can gel it up and scrunch before I start getting dressed. I never could get my hair to just this perfect dryness level with a terry towel.
One tip: If you have to apply product to your hair while it's still wet, as most curly girls do, you've got to do it right after using the Aquis. It soaks up so much water that your hair will start air-drying right away, and if you wait 10 minutes, you'll have missed the moment -it'll be too dry to apply product to.
Using it is simple. I turn my sopping, dripping head upside down and use the Aquis to blot/scrunch a ton of water out of it. Then I hang the Aquis up to dry -which it does nicely and quickly -and immediately put some gel in my hands, turn my head upside-down again, apply the gel throughout my hair, and scrunch again.
Curly hair is a bit of a roller coaster at the best of times. The bad days are so demoralizing, but on the good days, you feel like a goddess. This product really helps tip the scales toward "goddess." And it costs less than a bottle of the latest designer hair goop. Come on, give it a try!

I would never go back to using a regular towel for my hair after trying this little miracle towel. Wrap it around soaking wet hair and it absorbs amazingly. It not only cuts drying time down but makes it unneccesary to rub and rub which is damaging to the hair. They also hold up to many uses. I bought this as my skin seemed dry, washed out, rough and I hadn't had a facial in years. I'd read a dermatologist say that you don't have to pay boutique prices for boutique expensive skin care because the big companies like Olay spend a lot on research and development--they have big budgets, sell a lot, and their products have to be good.I put this on at night and within a few days my skin was smooth, brighter, not rough and tighter. I hadn't anticipated that last feature. I feel like I'm getting a mini-facial or peel while I sleep. I was thrilled with the results, and am going to buy some more Olay products. I feel like I'm taking good care of my skin without spending a lot of $$$$.
After two days of use, the right side of my face looked the same, maybe the skin was a bit smoother to the touch. After four days, a *very* close inspection revealed smoother pores on the treated side. By days five and six, I actually could see a subtle improvement in my crow's feet around my eyes, and some lines from the corner of my mouth. After a full six nights of treatment, I could see that the slightly hanging jowl on my right jaw was not hanging as much as the one on the left side, and the scar on my throat (from surgery years ago) was tightened up on the right, more than the left.
Wish I had a good "before" picture. Was I lopsided before I started? Did the scar look much better on the right than the left before? Did the jowl always hang more on the left? Well, the answer to that will have to wait a few days, for the reverse treatment this week. Starting last night I put the Resurfacing Elixer on the left, and the Micro-Sculpting Cream on the right. Next week I will post what happens. I'm particularly interested to see if the left jowl raises up to be more even with the right, and if my throat scar looks better. But also the regular stuff: the crow's feet, and the smile lines.
Though I get the impression that this product improved my skin, I gave it only 4-stars because of the subtlety of the results. I'd post a picture, but the results are so subtle, I can't seem to get them to show up in a photo. I suspect a professional photographer with special lighting could bring out the comparison. But sans professional photographer, I'll have to offer up only my words.

I ordered this product to help minimize hair breakage while sleeping. It works great and doesn't slip off while I'm sleeping. I'm African American and my hair is natural and I noticed some breakage in the areas where my hair comes in contact with the pillow. To fix the issue I purchased the satin bonnet and Heritage Products Castor Oil (Cold Pressed). So far so good! My only complaint (and the reason I gave the bonnet four stars) is the elastic around the rim of the bonnet is a little tight. Throughout the night I have to adjust it a few times. Other than that it works perfectly!
My only complaint is that the elastic on it is just a bit snug. It's more slightly (emphasis on "slightly") annoying than uncomfortable, but I do wish it could be just a tad looser. If my old bonnet is anything to go by, though, this bonnet should gradually get looser over time. In any case, this will definitely last a long time and will accomplish your goal of protecting your hair during the night.This cap is nothing special. Better off going to a local retailer and buying it for half the price. Will not go out of my way to buy this brand in the future.

I like this bath salt because it is very well ground, almost a powder, so it dissolves in the bath immediately. Not like the usual chunky rock salt that many bath salts use. It also has a nice scent. The bottle says that it is enough for 8-16 baths but I have found it to provide five or six baths tops. My jetted bathtub is large, but I imagine that is what most people are purchasing this for. Also, I find this at TJMaxx for $5.99 often.

It works!I was told that sometimes I snored, and I frequently woke up with a very dry mouth, mainly due to some medications I take. I also use 24-hour oxygen, which means that when my mouth falls open while sleeping, my oxygen intake drops significantly.
I looked at a number of chin straps, and decided on this one because the wider band seemed to offer more comfort while keeping my mouth closed. It works very well, and I can even put it on in the dark so I don't have to disturb others by turning on a light. (Sometimes I have forgotten to use it before turning out the lights.) It wraps easily, with a wide hook-and-loop closure, making it completely adjustable, and comes with two additional straps to anchor it in place.
It has helped considerably with my dry mouth problem, and no one is complaining that I snore anymore. And, who knows? Maybe it will help get rid of my double chin!

It did not keep my mouth closed unless I tightened it well to the point of being uncomfortable.
The strap moves around while sleeping, I had to reposition it every time I woke up in the middle of the night.
The strap covered my ears, which made it very uncomfortable and hot and made my ears painful when I woke up.
In about 2 weeks, it has deteriorated quite a bit. It looks like it will not even last 1 month.
Note that the picture shown here is erroneous. The two included smaller velcro ended straps are supposed to go 1. behind your head (across the back neck just below the ears) and 2. across the forehead (not across the top as shown in the picture). These smaller straps are supposed to keep the larger strap in place.

Upside...soft, comfortable and easy to use. Comes with 2 additional straps to use on the back of the neck and front across the forehead. Despite those it didn't stay in place on top of my head well through the night and I woke up a lot to adjust it. I stopped using it after 3 nights; am using the Nasivents I ordered with it and do very well with those.

I just want to start out by saying that I do not work for this company or have any affiliation to them in any way. I have no reason to endorse anybody and I normally do not right a review on something unless I feel that it is truly called for to serve the product justice. All that being said here is my review of the Contour Back Max Pillow Wedge System with Built in Massage 28" model.First my back story. I am a 34 year old man who is 6' 2" and weights in at 250lbs. of which about 20% of that is body fat. I suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) since I was 15 and for those of you who do not know what that is I will explain. It is a type of rheumatoid arthritis that affects the spine of the low back and hips. It can skip around and affect other parts of the spine including the cervical. It can also be radial affecting the peripheral joints of the body. There is a whole range of other symptoms associated to this horrible disease and there are different levels of it that range from mild to severe. I am on the severe end of the spectrum so you name off anything that is associated with it and I have experienced that on some level. I am fortunate enough however to be blessed with a drug called Enbrel which does slow the progress of the disease and even makes me a fully functioning part of the workforce. I am able to work full time as a Computer Repair Technician. I can even go to the gym and workout to keep myself in shape.
Everything in my sleeping habits had been great until about a year and a half ago or so when I suddenly noticed that I was losing circulation in my body. If I laid on my right side I would lose circulation in that side of my body and if I laid on my left the same. If I laid flat on my back I would lose circulation in my entire body including my head. As soon I would move to readjust the blood flow would just start rushing. I could even feel it rushing up into my head. Something is getting pinched off somewhere in my spine obviously and I don't know where but would ultimately like to get to the bottom of it. I also have been awaking every morning with intense pain right in the mid section of my back. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being bad the pain is a 10-12. It makes it to where I am so uncomfortable that I have no choice but to get up for the day after only about 5-7hrs of sleep. It literally feels as though somebody jerked a knot in my spine. I have discovered that if I sleep in a reclined position that I don't lose the circulation nearly as bad as I do sleeping in any other position and can actually sleep 8-10 hours if I choose to in that position. Also the pain isn't there as bad in the mid back like it normally is in that position. Now onto what I want to say about this wedge pillow system.
First off I would like to say "WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD!". From night one I have not awoke in the morning with that horrible pain in the middle of my spine. Despite of what others are saying about how comfortable it is I believe that it is very comfortable. My wife and kids love it too. My wife actually wants me to get her one now. I do still get a loss of circulation but not nearly as bad as when I sleep in the recliner or elsewhere. I am sleeping much better now thanks to this system and actually awake feeling well rested and can even go back to sleep and sleep in if I would like to. The poofy dark bags under my eyes are all but gone and I have only been sleeping on this thing for about 5 nights now. Here are the pros and cons that I see with this system:
1. Pros: Comfortable, sleep deeper and longer, awake feeling rejuvenated and reenergized. The 28" model is definitely worth the extra cash because I couldn't see how I would on anything smaller and even if I did I would have no place to rest my arms. These also double as a way of trying new sexual positions with your partner. They give you some new and fun angles to work with.
2. Cons: It does take a little getting use to the ideal of sleeping on it. Also it is not really one size fits all when zippered together. My wife is 5' 3" and can easily use it all zipped together but I can not. I have to separate the top and mid sections about 3-4 inches so that the mid section properly cradles my legs. The built in massage is worthless. It just vibrates of course but you can barely feel it. Doesn't waste the 8 AA batteries on it. The neck pillow is comfortable but not really needed so I don't use it.
I closing I would just like to say that they should take out the vibration function and keep the neck pillow and drop the price to 199.99. I am sure that they would sell a hell of a lot more of them if they did. Anyone who suffers from any type of back pain just needs to try this. It works for me and maybe it can for you too.
First the product itself:
It is not suited to someone over the height of about 5'7". Although the pieces to separate (by zippers), if you do that, the slippery nature of the fleece cover slides all over the place, so you're basically forced to leave them zipped together, and then the dimensions are too small for someone of higher than average height.
The foam out of which the pillows are constructed is SO hard, it is actually painful to lay on for more than a few minutes.
Because of the dimension of the box in which the product comes, it's the volume equivalent of approximately 82Lbs. That means shipping charges of $60 via the post office and just slightly less with UPS.
Second return policy and customer service:
1). Return policy is WAY down on the bottom of their webpage, very easy to miss.
2). To return the product requires a Return Authorization.
3). When you request the return authorization, they inform you there is a 20% restocking charge for `used' items.
4). The address on their website is not a UPS verified, and instead of informing of the appropriate address, Customer Disservice keeps sending crip-to-grams till finally you have the correct address.
5). When you ship the item back, a week goes by, with no word and no credit for the return.
6). When you ask where the credit is, you're informed that `We have a 30 day return policy. Since the product is used, it has been disposed of, we don't have a record of your credit card number, and there will not be a refund coming'.
Save yourself grief and a LOT of money. DO NOT BUY from Contour Products.

My husband has a degeneration of his vertebrae at L5, S1, and we thought this product would help him sleep through the pain. It was plenty wide for him, 6'4" and 250lbs, but so short in the back wedge part (the part you need), that it was uncomfortable even for me @ 5'9". The product itself took a week longer to ship than projected when I ordered, and was relatively crappy for the money. What Amazon doesn't list on this site is the 20% restocking fee involved in returns, plus paying for shipping it back. The customer service at Contour was non-existent, and will get you no where. I feel 'taken' by them, that they would sell a product with misleading information on Amazon.BUYER BEWARE!

I bought this wedge system because i snore and have sleep apnea. I could not stand the face mask of the CPAP machine, but when I sleep in a recliner I get a great nights rest. The contour beds are probably $3000 so this was cheaper attempt allow me to sleep in bed and get a good nights rest.I'm a big guy. Not very tall but big boned LOL... This is widest wedge system I could find and I was worried it wasn't wide enough when I ordered it, but that wasn't the case at all. Its plenty wide and supports me just fine. Its not a flat wedge if that makes sense. There is a slight lumbar support portion to it that hits your back just right.
The one problem I did have was when the 2 sections are attached its a bit too small for me. I'm actually too tall for it, or it just not made for my body type. Not sure where the problem lies. An easy fix would be if the offered an section of material to zip in to lengthen the unit. I just took off the bottom section all together and it works great.
The foot portion at the bottom was not useful to me at all. It must be for some problem I am not aware of. ???

I purchased this cushion set because it was the best option next to an adjustable bed. I was to have reconstructive knee surgery and my doc said that I'd need to elevate my leg for several days after surgery. The first week.
