North American Healthcare JB5651 Cpap Hose Holder
This is a sturdy, heavier weight unit I use as home as opposed to a lighter weight unit I use when I travel. It takes all loads imposed on it and works well. makes sleeping with a CPAP mask much easier, allowing more movement of the head. I use it against the headboard rather than as shown on the side of the bed to make it easier to get in and out of bed, and easier to make the bed.
One solution I developed was to position the hose on my pillow, above the top of my head, and run it down along the right side of my head. That delayed the hose falling to the side of the bed but did not always prevent it. In addition, the ridges on the hose would sometimes catch on the edge of the bedframe, and then when I tried to turn, the hose would not move, pulling the mask loose and interrupting my sleep.
I had the idea that somehow I needed to get the hose suspended above me, but I never pursued figuring out how to accomplish that. Then I saw this product, a hose holder. Just what I needed! Or was it? The only way I was going to find out was to try it out.
So having ordered the product and having used it for two months now, I can report that it works great. My sleep is less interrupted by the hose pulling on the mask (or on me). There is no question that it is well worth the money to me.
The product is cleverly designed. It is a series of slim tubes, and the each tube nests in the rim of the one below. There is an a elastic cord running through the center of the tubes that keeps the tubes nested in place. The top piece swivels easily, and the hose can slip through the eye at the top. If you want, you can separate the tubes and fit them into the pouch that is provided, which allows you to pack it in a suitcase. (The elastic cord does not come off so the tubes will stay connected to each other by the cord even when not nested.) At first, I thought, OK, this is fine for home use, but I'm not going to travel with it. What with the CPAP machine, I've got enough stuff to lug with me. But now that I've used it for two months, I am reconsidering. I may just travel with it.
At first, I thought that it would be a problem making the bed with the hose holder in place, but it has not been an issue.
I agree with Bluesman that the picture makes the diameter of the tubes look bigger than they are, but otherwise, I think his review does the product a disservice. Perhaps he got a defective item. While not what I would call robust in construction, it is certainly sufficiently sturdy to do its job, and in two months of use, I have seen no evidence that it won't last years. The cost/benefit ratio here is such that if this product broke in a year, I would have no complaint. I'd just buy a new one.

I'm not quite sure what Bluesman is referring to in his one-star review. Perhaps he was shipped a different product. While this stand is not what I would call "heavy duty" it is more than adequate for the job at hand. I change sides two or three times a night, and this unit has no problem staying in place and holding the hose in the proper place. The top does swivel a bit, which is a good thing, as it adjusts to your movement and you the mask doesn't get pulled from your face.During the day, I hang my mask (a light nasal pillow model) from the pole as well. I see no sign it can't handle that bit of extra weight. It might be a tad overpriced (there might be $1-$2 in materials at the most in this thing) but there aren't that many alternatives, from what I have seen. All-in-all I'm happy with it.
UPDATE, 3/19/2013. Over two years later this CPAP hose holder is still going strong. It gets used EVERY night and has even traveled with me. I have a new bed and mattress and now have moved it to a different position, in the middle of the mattress between the headboard and the mattress. It isn't perfect. When you need to make an adjustment, the segments can come apart and that can be a bit of a pain to straighten out. But since I rarely need to adjust it, once it is in place it seems to stay put just fine. Given how flimsy some think it is, I wonder how it has lasted so long?
UPDATE 3/30/2013 RIP. The foot of the stand broke last night. It was propped rather precariously underneath a heavy memory foam mattress directly on a slatted platform bed, and I tried to adjust it without lifting the mattress. So, I think this was my fault. I think it gave me great service for the two+ years I have owned it. Given my new bed setup I may order a different product, but if I don't find something else quick, I will have no concerns about ordering this product again.

This is a handy product. It is a collapsible structure (perfect for travel or home) and doesn't require any assembly. You just straighten it out and then slide the flat base between your mattress and box spring, resulting in an erect, slim, pole-like structure with a loop at the top in which you can string your CPAP hose. Given the set-up of my bedroom, it was best for me to have it at the head of my bed between the bed and the wall (I do not have a headboard). I haven't had it for that long but it stands there and holds the hose as it should and it's such a straight-forward structure that I have no reason to think it wont do it's job for months/years to come. If you have a headboard and have to stick it between the mattress at the side of the bed, maybe it would move more if you bumped into it (or just because it doesn't have the wall as a fall-back support given that you may tug as you change positions during sleep), but its simple enough where you really can just tuck it in the base at night and put it away during the day. For me, its much better than having the annoying hose hanging down the side of the bed all night and pulling on my face apparatus. I give it 4 stars, which means that I recommend it and think it works perfectly fine. One star because it is a bit flimsy in a way but, like I said, that's good when you think about travel or moving during the day.Save 59% Off

Tea isn't a beverage for me, it's an event, starting from boiling the water to when the last drop vanishes down my esophagus. Therefore I usually buy loose leaf as it is less processed, I can see and smell what I'm buying and I can better control the strength of my tea. I first tried this when I obtained a few complimentary bags.On the matter of taste, I find it very good. The Bigelow EG appeared to be very strong in color and taste.
Tea bag teas are usually cut very fine so the bags can be packed flat, and because finely cut leaves have more surface area than big leaves, you don't need to steep the tea as long. In fact the instructions say to steep only 1-2 minutes as opposed to the usual 3-4 mins.
To me, Earl Grey taste has two components, the tea taste and the bergamot taste, and it takes a lot of skill to blend and make a tea that has a pleasing combination of the two tastes.
For example, I've found that Taylors and Harrogate has a mild tea and bergamot taste, Whole Foods loose leaf has a strong bergamot taste, etc. Your run of the mill EG usually has a strong tea taste that overshadows the bergamot and you don't taste it at all. Bigelow has a very strong tea taste, but it doesn't overwhelm the bergamot, which you taste at the end. So I like it very much because I've never had a strong tea that didn't overwhelm the bergamot. And it's definitely not a mild tea, it's very robust and strong. It's not a light handshake, it's a full body hug and kisses on both cheeks when you drink this.
In conclusion, if you want a very strongly flavored Earl Grey with a strong tea taste, but also a strong hint of bergamot, this is it. Update: Since I wrote this review, which is 5 years ago, I've often bought this brand and it tastes as good as ever.

Once your tastebuds adapt, you may not want to drink any other tea. I have tried many of the other so-called "best" Oolong teas and Oolongs promoted by "experts." I always come back to Bigelow.
My corner store has been sold twice over the past 7 years. The company that owns it now quit stocking the Oolong, so I am very happy that I can still purchase it through Amazon!

I'm no tea expert, but I've sampled quite a few of the Bigelow varieties. English Breakfast is a great basic black tea, much more full than the flavor in a black tea bag from a generic or major brand 100-bag box. I don't find it to be bitter at all, unlike some black tea varieties. I try to let it steep for no more than 2 minutes in the cup (the package suggests 1 to 2 minutes), as additional time seems to introduce a bitter component that increases with time. If you want a stronger flavor, you might experiment with 2 bags, rather than 1 bag for longer time. However, this is a fairly strong tea, and I'm happy with the strength from one bag. I consider English Breakfast to be my "standard" tea for when I'm not looking for some variety.Don't confuse English Breakfast (pink bag) with another Bigelow black tea variety called English TeaTime (deep blue bag). There's quite a difference, with the English TeaTime being much weaker.
I always drink tea straight--no sugar, no honey, no lemon, no milk! So my reviews are my opinions of the straight tea flavor, not how it interacts with another agent. I drink Bigelow tea almost exclusively, because it's readily available, modestly priced, and has lots of varieties that are all of decent quality. If I give a Bigelow flavor less stars, it reflects only my taste preference, and is not a statement of low product quality.

This tea's flavor was better than I expected. Slightly-strong, earthy flavor is a nice twist to those teas which barely zest the water. I purchased enough boxes to negate shipping. The result, one of the best Oolong teas I've tasted at about $.50 cheaper than I can find it in the store. Having nearly ten-times the flavenoids as regular green tea, with its great taste, it the logical choice.

I didn't personally find this product to be of any assistance in alleviating my insomnia. I found Hyland's Calms Forte to be much more effective. Also, Hyland's Calms Forte is a tablet which is intended to be swallowed, the Hyland's Insomnia formula is to be dissolved under the tongue and has an awful bitter taste to it. I hope others have better results from this product, but I was dissapointed.

The directions say to take two to three tabs every 4 hours as needed. I took two one night, (it didnt do anything)..then took three tabs the next night,(Same results) . I just bought this today and so far, I'm not that impressed. It offers a soothing, menthol-y, cooling effect to the cold sore area, but as for concealing and healing, it hasn't really done much. As of right, now I"m in day 3-4 of my cold sore and it's also in a unique spot, at the top of my nostrils and, I do have some scabs forming, and that may be the difference of my own experience, compared to someone who is in the beginning stages of the cold sore, but as for the claim of making the scabs more soft, i haven't noticed much of a difference. Now, the applicator...is not very hygienic. I would suggest you twist it until the product comes up, use a clean q-tip or cotton ball and wipe it off from there, then apply the product from the q-tip onto the cold sore. If you keep re-using the applicator over and over again, it'll just spread the cold sore into even more places. so, applicator is not recommended, but using a clean q-tip to wipe it off will work. Overall, I'd say that it does relieve you from the pain with the cooling and menthol effects and it's a great skin protectant. But Vaseline or Aquaphor will work just fine as a skin protectant. the Cooling and menthol is an added plus.

I usually just use carmex for my cold sores but found this product and wanted a quicker fix. I went in thinking I was getting abreva but when I saw it was almost 20$ I decided to get this. I'm glad I did. The brush is very soft and it clearly states on the package to clean it after every use with a tissue. I've used it for 1 day and my cold sore is almost gone. I was very tempted to buy these, especially when I read one user bought them from the local Dollar Tree. Well, I just happened to go to Dollar Tree the next day with my sister and on my way out I picked a pack up! 1$, woo~Totally worth the price and more, so if you can't find them, get 'em here!
The strips are easy to slide out, which is something of a concern with mouth strips I've tried before.
They have a minty bite, but don't leave a long after taste, after fully dissolved that is. I feel like there is a hint of aspartame flavor, but I can't check because I lost the packaging. It isn't as unpleasant as other things I've tasted aspartame in and I dare say you may not even notice it.
I have a lot of trouble sleeping and even relaxing and at the very least, whether it was a fluke or not, I can say that I've been sleeping a little longer, waking up without the typical groggy feeling I have, and also feeling more pleasant!
I've found that Melatonin works well for me, and if it works for you I'd also try some L-Theanine. In combination the stuff really brightens my mood, and I make a habit of trying sleep/stress aids.
Definitely worth a try.

I have a nice quiet Everflo Oxygen Concentrator, but it was hard to tell since all I could hear was the water bubbling in the humidifier bottle. Also, I had to constantly wipe my nose with my previous humidifier, but with the Salter Labs bubble humidifier hydrates my breathing passages but doesn't overdo it. It's almost like the water droplets are much smaller. The icing on the cake is that this bottle is so much quieter!
I plan to be using only these from now on!
