Custom Hard Night Teeth Grinding Guard

I recently lost my 150 dollar night guard I bought from an orthodontist and replaced it with this. I tried some from the store of comparable price, and it was pathetic how bad they were. this one is just as thin, well-fitting and durable as the orthodontist's more expensive version.

First there is no way to track the progress of your guard after you send the molds back. I was beginning to wonder if i had been scammed as long as I had to wait. It did arrive with the case as advertised, but I've had to do some trimming on it to make it fit without rubbing or squeezing to tightly between my teeth. The material is extremely thin and pliable so i'm not sure this will last long, surely not the 5 years my hard acrylic guard lasted me.

In short:

It does what it's supposed to do, but it isn't the best fit and finish and is extremely thin compared to the one I had made by my dentist. I'm not sure how long this will hold up but it's better than nothing at the moment. I'm not sure that I would by this product again.

For years my dentist has been telling me I need to wear a guard to protect my teeth from nighttime grinding. I had tried several store brands but found them all so bulky and annoying, that I usually ended up taking them out in the middle of the night. I was considering shelling out the $500 for a professional mouthguard, then found this and thought I'd give it a try. I am very pleased with this custom guard. It is a bit snug (not uncomfortable) so it stays on my teeth, and I can even talk/drink water without removing it.

It took a long time to receive these back. Like another reviewer, I was beginning to wonder if I had been scammed. When I finally did receive them, it was extremely thin in certain parts and didn't fit right. It felt like the guard was trying to move my teeth (sort of like braces). It hurt and I ended up throwing the guard away.

In the end, I switched to a different guard, also sold on Amazon (Dental Hygiene Preferred Complete Day/Night Mouth Guard Kit) and have been much happier.

I messed up the first mold and was sent replacement putty with no questions askedfor free and immediately. I have ordered a retainer from a different well known online manufacturer and the customer service was poor, so this was a wonderful surprise. Everything was more professional from sporting smiles, from the website down to the packaging materials, but at a similar price.

Molding materials arrived within the week, and the final product took about 3 weeks. It is much thinner than the one my orthodontist made me (I'll have to see if this can survive intensive grinding!) and feels and looks good. Hopefully this works out... So far, so good.

I had purchased the same sleep mask locally in the past but couldn't find it any longer. So, Amazon to the rescue or not? Well in theory it is the same soft bamboo mask, but the elastic that goes around the head is different and less comfortable. My first mask had two elastic narrow bands. This has one tighter band that is uncomfortable to wear through the night. It will need to be stretched out or lengthened. Unfortunately, I could not see the elastic band on the Amazon picture. If I had, I would probably not have ordered it. Not quite the same.

This is the best sleep mask I have tried! It is soft, and blocks the light very well. I have had two so far, and I have never had a problem with the elastic band being too tight. The most recent band Ecotools uses on these masks is completely adjustable.

This is by far the best sleep mask that I have ever owned! I am a very sensitive sleeper and am easily awakened by light. All the sleep masks that I have tried in the past allowed light to come through around the nose area. This one forms to my face better and completely blocks out the light. I find it to be a soft and very comfortable material. It is quite different from satin though. As for the tightness of the band, I have one with an adjustable band and have no problems with it being too tight. I am finally able to get a good night sleep with this mask.

This is the first sleep mask I've had that is completely washable. You cannot throw your silk/satin masks in the laundry, but you can with this bamboo mask. I've used 2 of these so far. I have a larger than average female head, so I was worried that it would be too tight, as some reviews have said. However, with the velcro adjustment all the way out to the end it worked. And they were smart enough to put the 'sticky' side of the velcro facing out, not toward your hair. Elastic will, of course, stretch out over time, so I could keep adjusting it a little tighter as it stretched. I think this, and the washability, are what allow me to wear these masks for over a year each. I'm here today to order my 3rd Ecotools sleep mask. At this price, I have no problem at all replacing the mask each year.

One of the reviewers stated that the mask was scratchy. I have not experienced that at all with 2 masks now. I've found them to be very soft, like a well worn terry cloth might feel. There is a single wide strap, but unlike other masks I've used, this elastic does not bother my ears. Maybe because it's wider than some. Also, I sleep with a CPAP machine, so the headgear on that helps my mask stay in exactly the place I put it when I go to sleep.

For those like me who cannot abide scented products, there is none on this mask. Thank you Ecotools!

The only thing that would have made me give this a 5 star rating would be if it had the little 'pillows' at the bottom that help make sure no light peeks in. But the mask itself is so soft that it seems to mold to my face with no problem. I love these and will continue to use them.

My husband is a light sleeper, and I introduced him to my sleep mask a few years ago. It's made a great difference. Some masks have too much padding, though, causing him to sweat more when he sleeps. This mask is a great combination of light blocking and breathability. He's very pleased with it, and I'll be ordering him another.

Unable to see how I could live without it, I repaired it with duct tape (hey, I'm a guy, what do you expect), but I figured it was time to get a new one. I got a different color than the one on this page (I got the "DreamTime Inner Peace Eye Pillow, Sage Velvet," also sold here at Amazon). The eye pillow that tore open on me was unscented and I was hesitant about getting a scented eye pillow; I was afraid it would be too perfumy. But the scent of the DreamTime eye pillow is quite pleasant and to my liking and I don't find it perfumy at all. It has a mild chamomile smell, and when I use it, it is easy for me to imagine that I am reclining in a field of wild chamomile. Having an eye pillow means not having to put my arm or arms over my eyes (or a folded up t-shirt or a towel or whatever is handy) when I want total darkness. The eye pillow gives me total darkness--100% absolute blackness. It also imparts the pleasant sensation that I get when I gently press my palms to my eyes. The scent is relaxing, the sensation of having the pillow over my eyes is relaxing, the absolute darkness is relaxing, and I highly recommend this inexpensive product (especially at the sale price) to anyone who is looking for a natural way to get some deep relaxation. DreamTimes's eye pillow comes in a sturdy reusable cardboard box (with a ribbon carrying handle). DreamTime eye pillows are obviously marketed to women and that's too bad for guys who might not consider trying them because of how they're marketed. Maybe if they make some with a camo design (just kidding). Highly recommended for anyone who wants a natural aid to deep relaxation.

If you are looking for an eye pillow, do yourself a favor and purchase this one! It has become one of my favorite things. When I use it I feel relaxed and well cared for. I love it for many reasons: the fabric is silk & velvet, it has a zipper so you can take out the herbal contents and hand wash it, and the scent of the filling is so comforting! Very well made too-good seams with professional look. (Also-it is cheaper here on Amazon than I have ever seen it.) Enjoy.

I am taking this product occasionally for menopause symptoms. I was offered hormones/ medication from my doctor but refused because of side effects.

I only take this pill if necessary for irritable or blue feelings. (About every 6 weeks)

My (59 year-old) father had a very very bad reaction to Natrol 5MG time release. He was on NO other medications, reasonably healthy (works 40 hours a week), non-smoker and only took Natrol TWICE (two different days and 1 pill only).

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Detoxify Black Chamomile Body Lotion

This lotion is absolutely amazing. As I put it on before bed I could feel all of my muscles relaxing and stress just melting away. Too bad Bath & Body Works can't seem to keep anything I fall in love with for more than a few months & I can't afford $76 for a $10-$12 bottle of lotion.

This is a nice smelling product that is one of the rare Bath & Body Works scents that isn't fruity or floral. Plus I dig the industrial look and color of it. From what I can tell, Bath & Body Works discontinued this scent a few years ago. However, they brought it back for Holiday 2012.
