I bought two here for about the price of one of the non-concentrated at the local health food store. (It also contains more servings per oz than non-concentrated). This concentrated version is like drinking frozen grape juice concentrate, yummy but sweet. I would add water to the measuring cup (included) and then add the syrup and stir it up, to get every last drop:) Otherwise I'd lick the cup and put water in the cup and drink till it was clean.

It contains real sugar unlike some other brands.

As far as effectiveness its hard to say, I'd go through one bottle per bout of cold 2X a day for 7 days or so. Need to keep refrigerated.
