Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment, 1.7 Ounce

This formula performs I have been using Repechage for years and this cream locked more moisture into my skin after one application than my whole experience with pricey French-based marine cosmetics. It's not greasy at all it absorbs very well into the skin even the day time formula. My skin feels like a baby's butt (!) and it is healthier and cleaner. I'm so impressed, and very happy I tried it.

I have been using the Olay products since about July 2006 and am very pleased. I use the Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment at night on my whole face and neck, after washing with Dove Regenerating Calming Night Soap (liquid, navy colored bottle) and I use Olay Smooth Skin Exfoliating Scrub about once or twice a week at night. In the morning, I use Avon ANew Eye Lift Cream around my eyes and then Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream on my entire face and neck. I think this combo, particularly the Olay Regenerist products have made me look YEARS younger--with the grace of God, of course. I added the Regenerist Night Recovery about 2 months ago, and it made a difference for me. Lots of people at work tell me I look younger, too. My skin feels great! It's firm and velvet soft. And wait till I tell you, I have lost 50 pounds in the last 9 months! Why do you care? Well, my face should be sagging all over the place with that kind of a weight loss, especially since I carried that weight for years and my skin was well-stretched. I should need a crane just to hold the wrinkles up! Guess what??? It's firm and velvet soft. I won't say I don't own a wrinkle, but they are very very minimal. I've had people tell me I don't have wrinkles, too, but there are little tiny ones there hiding in the makeup. Oh, I'm 57, too--so don't think I'm 25 and telling you I don't have wrinkles like they tell you in those adds on TV. It smells great, too. I am sensitive to certain products with perfumes, but not this. No problems.

I am mighty pleased with these products, BUT, use them awhile. Nuthin' happens overnight, Hon! (We call everybody Hon in Balmer) (That translates to Baltimore).

Update March 2007. I switched the morning treatment from Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream to Olay Total Effects 7x. It is great. Super creamy.

Update September 2007--Still using same combination of products--still working great. Am 58 now and have lost 59 lbs and am still quite pleased with these products.

I've been very happy with the Night Recovery cream for more than a year. I've never experienced a product that moisturizes so well while appearing so greaseless. In fact, because of its matte finish, I no longer use Olay's Daytime Regenerating Serum which is also a great product, but is quite a bit shinier than Night Recovery. Now I use Night Recovery during the day AND overnight.

I bought four products from this line--the Regenerating Lotion with UV, Daily Regenerating Serum, Night Recovery Moisturizing, and the Eye Serum. After two weeks of use, I'm pretty pleased. I'm skeptical by nature, and I wonder if anyone notices the change produced by skin products like these other than the user. But, I think this stuff does make the skin around my eyes look smoother and lighter, and it certainly moisturizes without being greasy. I have pretty sensitive skin, and I haven't had any redness or irritation, and certainly no pimples. I also don't notice any scent. I find eye creams especially irritating (Clinique was AWFUL for me!) but the eye serum is very soothing. I'm pleased with the results and certainly the price!

Well, I spoke too soon about not having trouble with pimples. Lo and behold, about six weeks after I began using all these products I noticed a few dreaded little red bumps, plus one larger one right in the center of my nose. Ugh! I've never had acne, even in the worst of the teenage years. After much trial and error over a couple of months, I think I've identified this item as the culprit. I notice it doesn't say that it's "non-comedogic" on the label, which I think basically means it won't block pores. I haven't had an issue with the other items in the Regenerist line, though, so I'd continue to recommend them.

TAPE DURAPORE SILK 1/2X10YD24/BX 10BX/CS 3M Health Care

Trying to figure out what kind of tape I needed for taping a toe down was crazy. The adhesive on the tape I had gotten at the local drug store was making my toe raw and making the skin break down. So, to Amazon I went. I bought Transpore, Durapore, and Micropore tape. I figure, it's tape I will definitely use it. Not only am I accident prone, my son has inherited that particular trait. Transpore tape is the lovely clear tape that is perforated both horizontally and vertically so it is very easy to tear. My skin has had no reaction to the adhesive and the sticking is power is fairly good, so long as the area is free of moisture and well dried. Durapore tape is the cloth tape that is more silken than your typical athletic tape. Again, my skin has had no reaction to the adhesive. I do tend to find that the sticking power is much better, but you also get the residual gummy tape goo left over more so than the others. Also, while it is fairly easy to tear, it does get cankerous sometimes. Micropore tape is the paper tape. I cannot really give you a review on that, as I haven't used it yet. All of them I got in the 1/2" width. It is a good width for solely using tape on fingers and toes and small places. Or taping bandages down, NOT sealing them.

Strong, durable tape that sticks well and removes easily. A great buy like this if you can use it.

I discovered these online a few years ago, and they saved my marriage! My husband snores so loud that I had left the bedroom, sleeping in another room for 6 years. They tend to leave a bit of residue behind (wax)

After several years in the drawer, they can get a bit hard however I found they did become pliable again with warming.

These have a higher NRR than my custom plugs and they work better! Look no further this is what you need for hearing protection!

I've only ever used the foam kind before, so after reading few reviews I decided to try out the wax ones... Overall they are ok; do the job. They are definitely Not as good as the foam ones when it comes to noise reduction however. I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with the wax plugs out... somehow they come off every now and then. They are more comfortable to wear, however noise reduction-wise, they are not as good as the foam...

I use the wooden pillow in my Yoga Studio and one of my members bought one. Her Husband has been ill with esophageal cancer and has had chemotherapy treatments. His posture was hunched and he started using the upper back bolster. She said he really likes it because it feels good to open the chest area and his posture is improving.

I don't live giving five stars, but this is a really awesome product. I worked for the company which distributed this when it first came to the US in 2007 and my co-workers made me try it out on my first day. It's a little strong the first time, so go easy and use a rolled up towel under your neck if it is too long for you when you start.

Not to be used if you have extreme spinal problems, and again go slowly.

From a non-professional opinion it basically stretches out your spine (same as how you get taller after a good night's sleep), back to where it should be. You can feel if the left or right side is out of wack and the stretching helps align both sides. You'll feel like you just got a great chiropractice adjustment.

It also opens the chest (good for when you've had a stressful day and that area gets tight).

Again the first time it can feel quite strong, so be careful, go slow and always be extra cautious when getting up. Start with a short period of time and work your way up to longer periods probably not exceeding ten minutes (1-2 minutes to start).

I keep one in the office so that everyone can use it whenever the need to during the work day.

These wooden products rock.

This product is great after a stressful morning/afternoon/evening/DAY. When you lie down on it, your whole upper back cracks beautifully back into alignment and your chest, neck and shoulders automatically feel so much lighter. A lot of us are walking around with our shoulders hunched over from stress or just being tired. Spending five to ten minutes on this and doing some gentle breathing exercises really corrects that hunched-over, cramped, stuffy feeling in the chest and over time, I have noticed that it has visibly improved my posture.

I haven't found anything else that really stretches the back this way. Plus it's a great way to stretch without exerting too much energy. You get to just lie down and the pillow basically does the stretching for you!

White Poly/Cotton Foam Bed Wedge Pillow COVER ONLY - 24 x 24 x 12

These are pretty pricey for being made out of cheap white fabric. A higher thread count or a nice print fabric would have made a big difference.

After a few washes, the seams started to unravel and come apart. The fabric also started to pill badly and became very rough. Would not recommend except there doesn't seem to be a better option unless you make your own. Too bad.

I bought this cover to use as a sample to make my own cover to match our bedding. But it is versatile. I suggest not DRYING the cover. It is a tad bit hard to put back on, but in the end worked very well.

i got this cream only 2 days ago,so i can not say a lot about it. it smells great, it is not oily, though it consists of a lot of different oils. The only thing i did not like is the description of this product on amazon. They described it as anti-wrinkles and anti-aging, but on a box it states "NIGHT PROTECTING CREAM COMPLEX ANTI PIGMENTATION". I always read the dosage instructions on anything I take first and I had confused the instructions. I also saw this on Dr. Oz. I have tried it several times, as directed, and it didn't work. I went to sleep fine but woke after several hours. Waking early is my usual problem. I was disappointed as I had high hopes for this product. I'm sorry I spent the almost $30.

I snore because of the overweight. Used the product for almost a month. In my case it just didn't worked well. I stoped snoring from time to time but I can't be sure it was because of it. Besides, I lost my Nozovent like 3 times a week while sleeping and after that its really hard to find.

I don't recommend it.

The product is really good for me helps prevent snoring and makes it much easier to breathe when I'm in bed. However, beware the seller! The picture above clearly shows two Nozovents in one package, but you only get one. So you do NOT get what the seller has pictured here. (I wrote the seller asking them to send the second one but they refused, offering my money back if I went to the trouble of sending the box back -but then I would have been out the shipping so it wasn't worth it.) Note that the seller says "1 Box(s)" as part of the description -but the picture shows two Nozovents in one package. Maybe the seller thinks that this makes up for showing a misleading picture of two Nozovents for sale, but I very much disagree -it's just misleading to picture two items when you're only selling one.

So, I strongly recommend Nozovent and would definitely buy this product again, but I'd never buy another product from this seller.

I've had sleep apnea and the associated "horrific snoring" most of my life. I even had major reconstructive jaw surgery and septum repair for it 21 years ago, which helped a bit, but it is still a problem. Magellan's Good Night Travel Sleep Mask

The new bedroom I moved into is on the east side of my home, so at sunrise, my room is flooded with bright sunlight, which, of course, woke me up. But now, with this mask om, the room still appears to be pitch black. Not even a hint of light. And the fit is perfect for me, shaped as it is so there's no pressure on the eyes, and the nose area conforms well to block light there as well. All in all, couldn't expect better.

Bought these after having eye surgery and was told not to rub eyes for 2 months. They are very comfortable and light weight. The molded eye sockets allow you eyes to blink during the night and the lack of pressure on the eyes is a benefit. The only draw back I have found is that they seem to slip off when turning from side to side at night but but with a little adjustment I have found a way to limit that from happening.

The up-side is that this sleep mask is comfortable and light weight, it puts no pressure on your eyes, yet keeps out 95% of the light. It is especially good for daytime naps. The down side is the foam material causes your face to get quite warm after wearing it for a while. In cold weather that is ok, in the heat of summer it may be problematic. My only other comment is the mask seems relatively expensive compared to other sleep masks on the market. However, I have not tried those others, so the extra cost for this one may be well spent.

Midnite Midnite Pm, 28-Count (Pack of 2)

If I can't sleep I have a prescription for it, yet try to take Ambien as little as possible as your body can get "used" to it and need it. I typically sleep very well. I only have difficulty sleeping if there are too many things on my mind or if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep, such as in a bad dream.

My husband sees no issue taking Ambien ALL the time. We look at medications differently. However, once he found this, he began using it instead and liked it better. He had no clue it was natural. He believes natural things don't work. He then read the box and was floored. Once he said it was natural and chewable I took his offer to try taking two one night when I couldn't sleep because I DO believe natural is healthier but I can admit sometimes it doesn't work as well.

I actually could feel myself going into a dream state and slept great.

I typically use these for those times I wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep. I find that Ambien at these times isn't a good choice because then I sleep too long. These don't have any residual effect the next morning. I can still wake up early and get to working with no drowsiness at all. No way could I do that with Ambien. I can take Ambien at bedtime or just after. With these, it can be 4am and I can still take them and wake up fine. Now granted I'll take them at bedtime too if needed...I have put aside the prescription and what a savings!

I"m not crazy about the taste, to be sure...almost like chewing a flavored antacid...it's a tad chalky. But I can absolutely say they work. I didn't trust my experience with them the first few times as I had never heard of them and couldn't imagine anything over the counter and natural resulting in sleep.

I've given these MANY trial periods because of that and slept like a baby each time. It does its job very well that I cant live without it. Only issue I have is it slips off in my sleep sometime. I'll need more latches or whatever to keep the mask on. The contour really fits around my nose and I have been told that I have quite a bit of nose and the mask can fit on a large head as I am one of the few that just got to big of a head. (Must be the EGO, tsk).

I was very disappointed in this sleep mask the front of the material was peeling off and with in a week and it kept shifting on your face when you wear it.

3M Foam Ear Plug 1100

I tried something like 20 different kinds of earplugs before settling on these. Why did they win? They work. I'm glad I wasn't fooled by the seemingly low NRR rating of 29dB. I can tell you that in practice, everything seems notably quieter while wearing these than when wearing any of the NRR 31-32dB earplugs I tried. I agree with the other reviewer who said that it seems as though these seal the ear better than the others.

They are not the absolute most comfortable plugs I've tried Hearos Ultimate Softness are the best in that department. These 3M 1100 plugs simply block noise better, though, and are more than sufficiently comfortable even for 8-hour nights. Hearos also cost more than three times as much here on Amazon. Finally, I've found that Hearos can only be used twice before they lose effectiveness; the 3M 1100 plugs can be used at least three and often as many as five times. Still, Hearos are very effective and very comfortable, and are a fine choice if comfort is your #1 priority.

All of the Howard Leight, Peltor, and Moldex plugs that I tried were either too high pressure (painful!) or didn't work as well as these or the Hearos. One good alternative I will recommend are EAR TaperFit2 those are a little bit softer and more comfortable than the 1100s and a little more effective than Hearos, and are reasonably inexpensive, so they're a good compromise.

How technology has changed...these plugs are soft and sticky, so they go in the ear, block most of the noise, but you do not feel any pressure, like older design foams used to feel. I will be buying these from now on.

I used to work in industrial settings, machine shops, and now do a lot of airtravel, so I have fairly extensive experience with earplugs, BTW.

Great for sleeping you probably understand. They're soft and comfortable, and block out everything except my alarm (which is set on high and vibrate). I also wear them when I'm trying to work at home and the lawn is being mowed and dogs are barking etc.

But another great use is wearing them to the movies. Movies are so loud these days that I could not go because of the headaches the sound would give me. I put these earplugs in properly, then pull them out slightly. That cuts down the sound by about half, so it's comfortable and I can hear dialogue perfectly. Added bonus, you don't hear people crunching on popcorn or talking on cellphones. It's made going to the movies a pleasure again.

I am about to buy my second 200-pair box; my current one has lasted about eight years. I use these whenever I need my hearing protected for more than a few minutes, everything from rock concerts to using power tools to mowing the lawn. They stay comfortable for hours, and no matter how high a noise environment I've been in, my ears never ring afterward. My only complaint, and this is probably true for just about all foamies, is that insertion is very temperature-sensitive. If where you store them gets above about 80F, it's hard to get them to stay compressed long enough to get into your ear, and below about 65F, it can take a really long time for them to expand.
