CPAP Seal Gel Liner for Nasal Mask

I bought this because my mask was digging into my face. It works well to stop that happening, and creates a good seal. I did have to cut the bottom part of the mask because it was hanging into mu mouth, but this makes the mask stretch out of shape easily. It can be a bit of a pain having to put the shield on before I fall asleep, I would prefer something that attaches permanently to the mask. The shield is also sticky, so it attracts dust etc, so requires daily washing, after which it regains its stickiness. Whilst there are a few down sides, this is still one of the best solutions I have found, and it allows me to use my CPAP without having a red triangle on my face.

I bought this mask liner after almost tearing out my hair with frustration with my mask. As a fairly new user I almost gave up, as I couldn't get the mask to seal properly and was spending most of the nights adjusting and re-adjusting to try and get it right. I tried the cloth liners, which were ok and helped a little, but they just didn't solve the problem. What a joy when my gel liner arrived! The smell was quite powerful at first but had settled down within a couple of days and my mask now seals perfectly. Not only that but there are no more painful pressure points from the mask I am a "side sleeper" so this is important. It can be a bit daunting at first to see the aperture, which is smaller than the actual mask, but you soon realise that it isn't necessary to have a bigger "hole" and you can breathe perfectly well. The liner does discolour slightly over time but it is easy to wash and dry each day and retains its shape. I love it!

I totally like this product! The smell at first is really strong and I kept washing it to make it smell better, but within a month the smell isn't to bad. Anyway, the seal you get when you use it is perfect and you know when you use your CPAP, you always get that red intention around the nose but with this cushion, you don't get that. Which is what I like also. It's a really good product and I surely recomend it

I bought this to help with my mask leaking noise and waking me up. It solved that problem. It has also helped with my dry mouth problem. I highly recommend this for CPAP users. I didn't have to trim it. In the beginning I had trouble getting it to fit into mask, but practice & you will get it right. Store it in the plastic container it game it to keep the dust off. I rinse it off in the morning before storing.
