I lost 115 lbs, and part of what helped with appetite control and muscle-building (dieting causes huge lean tissue lossess if you don't exercise and keep protein adequate) was whey protein. After reading various books, including some Paleo and Primal ones--though I'm not strict in any of those eating plans--I decided to buy better quality whey. Grassfed cows. No hormones, etc.

This is one of the ones I used during my active weight loss phase (I'm trying to maintain my loss and it's FREAKIN' HARD), and that I still plan to use as I fight to keep off the loss. I like the simplicity of the taste and the good quality. I saw it recommended on a Paleo board back in 2011, and that's why I decided to try it.
