Used this on a recent hotel stay. Bed bugs are a big problem right now and I knew I probably wouldnt get much sleep thinking about them. Ugh!
However with the tent I slept great. It was cozy for me, secure, plus the mesh is transparent so you could lay in bed and watch tv with it sealed.
I plan on using it when I travel again. I am really happy that there was a product like this out there.
My daughter's ex-boyfriend bought a used quilt at a yard sale and, as a result, carried bedbugs to her condo. It was only a mild infestation, but more than a year later she was still getting bitten now ahd then and was losing her mind. This problem is indescribably horrendous; no matter how much money you are willing to spend, professional exterminators can't guarantee that the bugs have been beaten. My daughter said "I can't live here anymore" and wanted to sell her place, which had been ideal for her before this happened. As a last resort, I bought this tent. She has been sleeping in it for almost a month and has come back down to earth -she seems happy and is having no more meltdowns. She has done everything else possible (except using insecticides, which she cannot tolerate; besides, DDT, now banned, was the only really effective one): bought a mattress cover AND a new bed, washed everything washable 30+ times, put diatomaceous earth traps under the bed legs, vacuumed and steamed (with an industrial-strength steamer) everywhere, and is looking forward to a hot summer where she hopes to raise the temperature in her place (with the help of a heater) to 120 degrees for at least 4 hours, which will kill the vermin. In short, this problem really can drive one crazy (not only my daughter but also ME), and the tent has saved our sanity.
