What a great idea to combine aroma therapy with heat or cold therapy. My daughter bought this for me as a gift and while it holds heat well after microwaving, it can also be frozen. AND it smells heavenly. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking a simple heating or ice pad for pain relief. Do note that the "grains" or material inside will shift and settle to a specific area so may not be suitable for the back if sitting vertically.
