Wow, am I ever disappointed in this mask. It gaps all around my nose, particularly if I lay on my side. If I am on my side, it also slides around uncomfortably if I move my head even slightly gapping even more. If I lay on my back, it gaps less, but there is a lump formed by the velcro that makes this position uncomfortable too. I don't know what is harder -falling asleep without the mask with way too much light in the room, or falling asleep with this darn thing on and bright slivers of light still getting in. These eye shades are really comfortable. Because they're contoured away from touching the eye they're incredibly comfortable to wear. They totally block out light and you can adjust the back strap with velcro attachment to fit just right. I love my Bucky 40 winks. I had lost one and ended up purchasing two replacement masks. Once the sun comes up I wake up regardless of how little sleep I've gotten. But with this sleep mask I can sleep in and think it's still dark. I am a Police Officer who works night shift and I really need this to keep dark so that I can sleep during the day. I have tried a lot of different masks over the years and this one is by far the best. Other masks bunch and lift up allowing annoying light to get to your eyes. The shape and material of this mask allows minimal light to penetrate and disture my sleep. This is my second sleep mask by this manufacturer ,(the last one was good for 3 years using it nightly), the last one had to be replaced due to wear. I give it 5 stars.

This card came with my Sound Oasis 650 and I like the Spa Retreat card better than the default card installed. The rainfall and surf tracks are gentler. If I want something close to white noise, Waterfall does the trick. I also enjoy the track "Unwind," one of the music tracks. The music tracks on this card are much more relaxing than on the default card. The best part of Sound Oasis is the quality of the recordings -you don't hear skips where the tape starts again. In fact, I can't figure out where the loop begins and ends on these. The machine itself is also excellent quality, and I can play these all night without the machine breaking.

I have been using this item with the Alba ACNEdote toner, as well as the Alba papaya enzyme face mask. I use a generic Target face cleanser (UP&UP daily facial cleanser for normal to oily skin). I have been using all these products together for about two months.Before starting to use these products: I had acne (especially on the my cheeks, my chin, my nose, and occasionally on my forehead and hairline), acne scarring (especially cheeks and chin), and my face was a combination of dry in some spots and extremely oily in others.
The toner is refreshing and WORKS. The label says it helps with acne scarring, and I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in the past 2 months. It also amazes me how much it gets out of my pores, even after I've washed my face!

This really does seem to get deep into pores and clean yuck out. I'll date myself remember how Sea Breeze always seemed to find dirt? this stuff does too without that feeling like your skin is being burned off with acid. ACNEdote does tingle a little sometimes, but not in a painful way. I tend to rotate this in once a day or every other day alternating with witch hazel and I haven't had any blemish issues while using it (they were infrequent previously). I gave this product 3 stars because: I like that this product is vegan, inexpensive, and it feels like it is cleaning my face. The product is runny like water (but that's not an issue); and it does not sting when you wash your face, or hurt your face afterwards.But I only gave this product 3 stars because I did not see any results after 5 WEEKS!!!! I used this product in combination with the Astringent and invisible treatment gel. Also, the moisturizer I used with these products was the Alba brand but not AcneDote oil control lotion. Anyway, I have severe acne (scars, cystic, white/black heads, etc etc etc) and the product didn't even prevent acne! I saw no results as far as minimizing white/black heads, scar reducing, etc.
This product is only for me that are just wanting some sort of natural, vegan/vegetarian cleanser for the morning and night this is not a treatment or cure for people like me! Please understand that. I read a lot of people's reviews before hand on this product, and they said the same thing, but I didn't want to listen I wanted to try it out for myself this product isn't worth buying if you're trying to treat acne.

I have sleep apnea. Unfortunately my nasal passages swell shut during the day and night so I rarely get to wear my c-pap. Fluticasone doesn't work very well, or very long even though I upped the dosages.A couple of years ago I tried snorestop extinguisher due to the swelling in back of my throat that blocks my airway according to sleep test. This is why most people snore. That is no longer a problem. You spray under the tongue and back of throat. Sadly my nasal passages still swell shut even though I rinse out every night.
I wrote snorestop and they said to use nasoclear and extinguisher together at night.
I am breathing very well on my own at night. And can use my c-pap now for when the ole ticker shuts down at night.

I have had two operations for a deviated septum and still I could not breathe through my left nostril well. I tried the nose strips and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.Then I tried the Brez devices. It works! However, I have had to modify its use.
I have to insert it vertically and not horizontally in the left nostril. It took me a month this way to get used to it...but it works.

I get allergies / inflamed sinuses. I have used a couple of different breathing aids in the past. I find that I sleep better and am less likely to get sore throats from breathing through my mouth. From previous reviews it might be that people are using the wrong size, or it might be that it depends on your cause (e.g. allergies vs deviated septum etc) as to whether these work for you.These work for me, as do the nasal strips. The problem with the nasal strips is sometimes they stick too well and damage my skin when I pull them off in the morning! If my outer nose skin is irritated then I use these. I find that they can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable inside my nasal passages, but not enough to impede sleep and they work great for what they are supposed to do. So basically I alternate the products and it works fine.
I would recommend that you try a packet and see what you think. You would probably have to try for at least a couple of nights to determine whether your inner nasal passage gets irritated.
As stated before, I really think you need the right size and to insert them correctly to feel the benefits. If you get a size that is too small, then they won't do anything for you.

I have very small nasal passages.My left side is narrow low down on the fleshy part of my nose. These inserts work well for that nostril and provided some relief.
My right nostril narrows higher up and it appears to be more rigid cartilage there. The insert did not work on my right side in fact it made that side worse: since the nostril was rigid and couldn't be widened the insert was just an obstruction.

I have a deviated septum and have tried various devices to help keep my nostrils open while sleeping. Nasal strips work OK for me but I hate peeling them off in the morning, and most of the devices you insert into your nose get uncomfortable half way through the night. So I held high hopes for the "brez" device as it looked like it might be more comfortable than the others. WRONG! In my opinion, this was a complete and utter waste of money and I'm kicking myself because I bought two packs, thinking that I must've just bought the wrong size (I tried small then medium). And they're not cheap! I'm at a loss trying to figure out how these things would work for anybody they're two little rubber ovals joined together with a very thin rubber strip. You put the rubber ovals in each nostril and the strip, I guess, is supposed to prevent them from getting lost up your nostrils. The problem is, the strip is not long enough to allow the ovals to go up far enough into the area where my nostrils are restricted and the holes in the ovals are not big enough to allow sufficient air to get through. It just feels like having a stopper stuck in your nose I couldn't breathe! I would definitely NOT recommend this product I've gone back to nasal strips. The other devices that have worked for me are the "nozovent" and "the air machine" (except both make my nasal passages slighty sore by morning). I'm yet to find the perfect solution.Save 23% Off

I was pretty skeptical about this product but was surprised when within 10 minutes of it's use I found myself starting to get greatly relaxed if not a little, drowsy. I have had problems with insomnia for years but when I use this product I tend to sleep deeper. It doesnt make me fall asleep right away but as soon as the annoying 30 minutes of buzzing stops I drift off faster than I ever have. I sleep so deeply too! That is what I most impresses with. I find that it does help to actually follow the directions and use it 30 before bedtime if your trying to get on a schedule, but now who thinks that far ahead? :) All the same this is a good product and the price, although a little steep for my taste, is reasonable for the final product. I bought this because I have had trouble sleeping and I am really a little surprised....but this thing works.It is easy to care for and if used properly, it works for me. I have found I fall asleep faster and even better yet, sleep deeper. I have also found that a couple of times during the day when I wanted to "calm down", I put it on and it helped with that too.
I think Hivox markets this as a sea-sickness aid as well and I cannot vouch for that. I don't get sea sick but I have a friend who goes on cruises and I am actually anxious for her to try it the next time she goes.
I have been using it for a few weeks and I have no rash like others have said (it states if you get a rash to discontinue use) and some people seem to say it hurts. It certainly does not hurt me. It seems to me if it hurts that a person has a REALLY low tolerance to pain. I started with it on the lowest setting and have moved it up to about the middle now.
So far, I am very happy.
It is not a total "wear this once and you will sleep like a log" but it is a device (strange as it may be) to assist you in getting better sleep.
If you don't like it, I am fairly sure you could return it but I would recommend people try it out. I am sure everyone is different and maybe it won't work for you but like me, maybe it will and for $50, it has already given me, what I consider to be, it's money's worth.

This item is well worth the extra cost, as it will be the last mask you'll ever need to purchase for yourself. I went through three masks prior to this one. Each one had a benefit, but this one combined all of them. The most import selling points for me were hollow eye areas (for comfort and REM), complete light blocking (provided total darkness), comfort (very good strap that does not hurt the ears by having a high enough placement. Also, soft material), and durability (the lining is quality and there are no edges that could fray over time). Another important aspect is the nose placement. I have a fairly large nose. Past masks tried to cover it, allowing much light through. This mask conforms around your nose bridge and places padding directly under your eyes which causes absolutely no light to get through. It seriously looks like some R&D went into this design. I use it in my car to take a midday nap. I highly recommend getting a microfiber bead neck pillow as well if you are using this for the car or air/bus/train travel (the mushier ones, not the rigid uncomfortable type, or the blow up kind). The combination will put you to sleep incredibly fast. I used to fly weekly, this would have been great. My only concern, which is completely minor is that it may feel too warm on the face if its really hot out.
Caveats:
1. Given that it isn't custom fit, or even sized, it may not be as effective or comfortable for everyone.
2. It picks up oil from your face easily and may lead to blemishes if you don't wash it once in a while (as often as your sheets)
3. You look even sillier than usual in this mask. It's lumpy and brings to mind late night QVC shopping your grandmother might do.
4. It's pricier than similar options so, if you can stand a little light leak, you might want something cheaper.
5. It's bulkier than similar options so pressing your face into your pillow isn't a good idea while wearing it.

I work rotating 12-hour shifts, so I frequently have to sleep when it's light out. I've tried blackout curtains, and never really got the needed level of darkness for best sleep I'd always stay in the "upper stages" of sleep, and wasn't getting the rest I needed. Obviously, I needed a sleep mask. I purchased one of these several years ago, after going through a few of the cheaper flat-style masks which really didn't help me much (at least they were cheap!) IIRC, I got it at Brookstone's, in my local mall, but I don't think they sell them there anymore. Wow what a difference. The contouring of this mask holds the material away from your eyes, as well as helping to seal it against your face to block out the light, it's nice and soft, and it doesn't build up excessive heat levels (important for me my wife calls me a "polar bear"), so it's VERY comfortable. Yes, it's more expensive than the other brands but it's worth it, IMO. After perhaps 5 years (!) of regular use and washing, the velcro's finally come loose I've tacked it back in place, but am looking to get a new mask to replace this one (so I can attach a new elastic/velcro strap and make the old one a spare makes sense to have a spare anyways, for when one mask is in the wash), and I have NO qualms about spending the money for another of these. It's THAT GOOD.I've tried other visco-foam masks, even, and don't think the design is as good as this one's is. If one of the other brands work well for you, great I'll keep buying this brand, because it works the best for me. It might for you, too.

My two year old son had tubes put in his ears at the beginning of summer and I needed something to help keep the silicone ear plugs in place. I was skeptical because this product hadn't been reviewed and was half the price of its competitor. We have been to the beach three times and in a kiddie pool a few times this summer and Macks Ear Band Swimming Headband has worked well for us. My extremely active toddler who often pulls hats off, didn't seem bothered by the headband and, more importantly, the ear plugs never once fell out. I wasn't very impressed w/the Alpha Dry Eye Sleep Mask and sent it back after using it for a few nights. I couldn't really tell much difference using it as far my eyes feeling refreshed the next morning and the strap kind of rubbed on my ear causing it to be sore the next day.
