Not only is this wedge comfortable, it relieves the pressure from your spine while helping alleviate swelling in your legs and feet. It is somewhat large, however it allows multi-positioning and does not throw your feet over the end at a sharp drop. I am getting ready to have back surgery and have had a knee replacement and this wedge has come to be "my best friend"!
