I tried different things until I saw these one day and thought I'd give it a try even though I was not familiar with the brand. The price was good and I loved the high pill count.
These pills did not put me to sleep as fast as Ambien, but I also didn't "sleep drive" while taking them, so that was good. I usually take 2 after I'm all settled in for the night, set the timer on the TV and I'm usually off in about an hour.
I do stay asleep during the night and very rarely wake up with a groggy feeling. I managed to get my body on a trained schedule now, but I do keep these on hand for those nights that I just can't sleep.
Thanks!

Followed the direction, one pill before sleep around 23:00 and was waken by morning urine around 10:00, went to the bathroon, and still felt very dizzy as the effect of the drug, and fall asleep with many kinds of weird but life-like dreams...tried to get up at 11:00, take out my iPad for news, and fell asleep unintentionally. my wife then finally shouted at me to wake me up. Not finished yet,was still sleepy and want to lay in bed....and my back felt bad.All in all, too strong medication, would recommend to take half the dose if you don't have very serious sleeping problem.I HAVE BOUGHT SLEEP AIDS CONTAINING DOXYLAMINE SUCCINATE 25 MG FOR YEARS, BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU THE KIRKLAND BRAND IS EXCEPTIONAL, I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THE REAL DIFFERENCE IS FROM ALL THE OTHER "SAME INGREDIENT" BRANDS BUT THE KIRKLAND BRAND ACTS FASTER AND HELPS YOU TO HAVE A BETTER SLEEP, HOPE I CAN ALWAY'S GET IT HERE. ALSO THE PRICE IS A WHOLE LOT BETTER..........

I occasionally take over the counter sleeping pills when I want to get a good nights rest and usually after I have been up late the night before or on an irregular sleep schedule (I am a night owl). I usually take Benadryl etc. This Kirkland stuff knocks me out, but the drowsiness continues well into the next day: I took HALF of one of these last night at 8pm. I fell asleep at 9pm. I woke up once at about 230am for a few minutes, then again at 6am for a few minutes, and then finally my alarm woke me up at 715am (I probably could have slept another hour!). I went to work at 8am and it is now 12pm and I am still very groggy. Not quite as bad as if I take a full pill, but it has been 16 hours since I took half a pill including 10 hours sleep and I am still groggy. Therefore I can not rate this higher than 3. Of course, everybody is different. I don't see how some people can take more than 1 of these.

I took one tablet at 10 pm yesterday. At around 10:45 I started feeling really sedated.. But I had some work to complete.. I managed to stay up till 11:30 and then gave in.. I woke up at 8:30 but didn't actually get a very deep sleep but still felt very drowsy.. Into the day after waking up at 8:30..I almost felt off balance and decided to skip my first class that starts at 9 and go for the second class that starts at 10..I lied down again thinking to get up half an hour.. After half an hour when I looked into clock.. It was 9:05 and somehow I lost my mind and thought that the second class has already started... But in reality it is at 10am... But in bed I lost my mind and thought that I have slept into the second class as well.. I then stopped forcing myself to get up and slept till 12:20 noon.. Although I slept so much it wasn't like a deep sleep.. I even felt irregular breathing at one point and had little difficulty breathing.. It was as if i have been made completely disabled physically and mentally.. It was worse for me than if I hadn't slept at all..I then took shower and had lunch but still had that groggy and sedated feeling to full extent.. I again slept after lunch till 6pm..I usually do gym or some kind of sports in the evening but now even at 6pm, after all this sleep.. I felt dizzy and groggy.. I couldn't go to play.. At night after dinner when I was studying.. I noticed that my mind is processing information very slowly.. I felt like a zombie this entire day.. I am writing this at 11:30 pm 25 hours after taking that one tablet and I can feel the effect even now although it's subsided a little during past 3 hours.. I don't know about other people but it's not for me..
