Contoured Travel Sleep Mask

After hours upon hours of searching for just the right sleep mask ... this is it! Very well made and comfortable to wear. The mask is sewn all around the edges so it will not fall apart like other masks such as Bucky's 40 Blinks mask. Should hold up nicely through hand washings. The elastic band is not as wide and softer, keeping your ears nice and comfy. This mask is also contoured so it does NOT TOUCH THE EYES. I have long eyelashes and can blink without them touching the mask. All light is blocked. Even around the nose. I have nothing negative to say about this mask and I do not have any financial interest. I'm just a LASIK patient with severe dry eye. I must sleep with a mask on. No exceptions! I needed something that will block any airflow, comfortable, and made very well since it will need to be washed often. Keep in mind the description does say ships in assorted colors or something along those lines. The one I received is a very soft baby blue color.

I absolutely loved the fit and comfort of this mask. Unfortunately, like many of the sleep-mask products I read reviews on, it stained the pillow-case with un-removable purple streaks.

When my wife and I boiled it to try to leach out the dye, part of it turned an odd orange color. I tried it again, and this time it gave me a mild caustic burn on the side of my face. There is some kind of chemical in the fabric or plastic that boiling seems to have activated.

Lastly, the strap is too short. I have a 7-5/8 hat size, and the velcro overlap is only 1/2 inch and not enough to hold through the night.

Great mask with very bad idiosyncrasies. It would be a 5-star but I had to cut it back to 2. If you don't mind the pillow-case streaking and you have a smaller hat size, try it out.

This is awesome. Pretty much provides for a black-out view, and so comfy. I think my nose might not be big enough, cuz there's a smidgen of light that comes through the nose area, but not noticeable when you're going to sleep. Love!

This is the sleep mask is incredibly light weight, the big shape around the nose makes it so there is no pressure on the nose like most sleep masks, I have plenty of eye space without pressure (I even have enough space to open my eyes and blink without hitting the mask), and it is very dark so light won't get through easily. Just what I need. I ordered this one for traveling but I'm going to order another one for my home.

There's no point in formally reviewing this product because the dye that its made with never stops bleeding no matter how many times you wash it. Purchase at your own risk, and be prepared for black stains on sheets and pillowcases!
