I was looking forward to getting the padded neck pillow and sleep mask, but they were disapointing.I probably should have looked at the picture better, but the cutout for your neck is quite small -only like 6" diameter -it flexes somewhat, but is not comfortable. The slot isn't deep enough for me, either. Maybe it's made for smaller (female) necks only? Could be.
The mask doesn't really have a nose cutout that's useful, either. To cover my eyes, the mask presses on the bridge of my nose which while not painful, isn't super-conductive to sleeping.
I still don't know what the velcro tie was for, but the set arrived fairly quickly, which is nice.
