I purchased this pillow case for both myself and my daughter, as we are horrible with scarves. Best purchase ever. No longer a need to worry about our hair breaking off on the pillows. This case has helped with maintaining our hair during instances when our scarves fall off. A great purchase to make if you're concerned about the health of your hair and taming styles.

These pillow cases fit standard pillows only if you squish them in. The pillow cases are actually nearly square in shape. There wasn't enough length to fit my (normal queen size pillow) in the pillow case without it being bunched up, and there was extra fabric on the shorter dimension. It looked really sloppy with a pillow inside. The fabric was also much lower quality than I was expecting. It actually feels kind of stiff and not that soft. I'm returning them.

I got these because I hear using silk to sleep on does not damage hair and helps with skin. I have no idea if they are working or will work but I like them. I love the feel and I sleep well..

I gave these satin pillow cases 5 stars because they arrived on time, in good condition, and they were exactly as described. I bought the pillow cases because I heard that they were better than cotton pillow cases as far as my natural hair was concerned. I hate buying online because I like to see and touch what I am buying, however, after searching for awhile and not finding any satin pillow cases in my local department stores I finally gave up and ordered them online and I am glad I did. It's been about a month and so far so good. The pillow case fits my pillow perfectly and it's like sleeping on the cool side of the pillow... all the time. As for whether or not a satin pillow case is actually better for my hair? I don't really know yet, but I don't regret the purchase either way.

I would recommend them.
