My son has used these for years. He is disabled and at times we could only find the larger m/XL size which were for over 65lb and they were way too big for him. When he weighed around 40-50lb these fit him well. Now that he is closer to 55-60 I found a deal and stocked up. I am sorry that I did. He could not even get one past his hips. So if your child is bumping 60lb I would recommend you go with the larger size available. And my son is on the thin side and is very very slim. He does not have big hips.
These are simply a pull up with a very thin "boxer short" covering. I bought these for my six year old who suffers from incontinence due to posterior urethral valves surgery. I ask"boxers" on and he said he felt like he was wearing a diaper. I will continue my search for a product to help my son's incontinence.
