My husband tried the nasal stick on strips. They left nasty welts on his nose in the morning from the adhesive after he pulled it off. I ordered these plastic devices for him to try and he loves them. He can breathe through both nostrils at night now and gets a better nights sleep. He says they are comfortable and do not irritate his nose on the inside. They do stay in place well however sometimes he looses it in the middle of the night if he brushes his nose with his hand or something while he is asleep. It is funny when he wakes up the next morning frantically feeling around trying to find his little friend before our dog finds it.

This company changed their model slightly and it's not as comfortable in the month if not at all, it is too small and slides too much into month, plastic plates moves around their axis so you have to readjust...It's a design flaw definitively -
