I've tried them all! My purchase of Maximum Strength Sominex really provided me with more help sleeping through the night than any prescription product. I cut each table in half, taking half nightly, thus a box of 16-count lasts me a good month and at far less cost than prescription brands like Ambien and Lunesta. If you're having trouble sleeping, I'd try this product. What I like, too, is that if I have to get up during the night, I am able to fall back to sleep.

The only thing I would suggest is that users make sure that they have at least ~7 hours before having to wake up; trying to wake up before then on Sominex is incredibly unpleasant in my experience and the afternoon slump will hit you even harder if you haven't slept enough the night before. The medicine also tastes terrible if you can't swallow it whole. Other than that though, I would say that this is a pretty good buy if you're having trouble sleeping and don't want to get a prescription. In short, it has helped me fall asleep, stay asleep, and it doesn't make me groggy in the morning as long as I've devoted enough hours to sleep before trying to get up. Pretty darn good by my book.

This is just benedryl. Very very pricey benedryl. My local super market sells a generic in the allergy section (same active ingredient) for 4.99 for 100 pills.
