I purchased this mask because I'm a light sleeper. Any kind of light source disturbs me when I'm trying to sleep. The colors of the mask are very vibrant, it's soft to the touch, and very comfortable to wear while sleeping. At first I was apprehensive because I thought that the bulk of a mask might bother me, but it's feather light. As an aside, it looks great while it's sitting on my bookcase by my bed while I'm not sleeping. Makes a great gift for yourself or for the woman in your life.

This sleep mask is not only pretty but totally blocks out light. The elastic band insures a snug fit and the silk cherry blossom pattern compliments my oriental bedroom and reminds me of my travels on Japan.

This is a lightweight and very comfortable sleep mask whose only drawback is that it lets in a little light around the nose area (although that just might be because of my prominent nose). Also, although the light blue, white, and pink pattern of this particular style is very pretty, it does allow some light to seep through the fabric (especially if you need this to block light during the daytime). A darker colored pattern would probably block light better. This style is fine for blocking out just little bits of light (e.g. from under a door or a nightlight) at night, however.
