It really does feel good when you lay on it. Be careful when rolling it because it does poke on your fingers and can hurt.
It took a few times getting used to the sharpness of the pressure points but I'm happy with the mat. I use it as a meditating time and I'm often surprised at how long I've been on it. Also,when I went to the doctor my blood pressure was low enough that she lowered my medicine. That being said, I very specifically CANNOT and WILL NOT say it was the direct result of using this mat as there were other lifestyle changes. However, if it did help, I'm glad. That is listed by the company as one of the benefits. Even if it was not a contributing factor for my situation, it's worth it just for the down time it forces me to make in my day.

After a stressful day, I will place a tea towel on top of this acupressure mat and feel my back, neck and shoulder muscles relax. Without the towel, the spikes are too intense for me, personally. But am sure it would be perfect for others.
