I think that $29 on a glorified burpy is ridiculous. HOWEVER, I bought several because my daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES these stupid things. My friend got me one at my baby shower and said they were great. When I found out how much they cost I was hesitant to even give it to my baby because it was seemingly too expensive for what it was, and in my mind what the hell does a baby need with a velvet burpy??? I was wrong. When I did give it to her, I discovered she does love it, and she's only 12 weeks. She holds on to it and plays with it, and she doesn't do that with any of her other burpies of blankets. I dislike spending so much on a "glorified burpy", but I love seeing her happy and that is worth more to me.

Grandson loves his blanky so much that there's one at our house along with the one he has at home. Yeah, it expensive, but it's gone thru many washings and is still in piece. It's an investment.
