The sounds ( there are 36 if them) are very realistic on this machine. It is a very compact machine and takes very little space. I have 2 complaints about it though. It takes too much time to set the clock and I wish that there was a dimmer dial to turn down the brightness.

Three months after I got the machine it stopped working. It doesn't keep time, it doesn't make any sounds. The only thing that it does is make a nightlight..a very expensive nightlight. I contacted the seller and got an auto-reply. I waited 2 weeks to see if there would be any attempt to resolve this but there was no further action from them. I contacted them again and got the same auto-reply. I will NEVER buy from DBROTH again. They do not stand by their products. Once they sell a product the buyer is out of luck.

Since I got no response from the seller, I contacted the manufacturer. I got a very prompt response from them. They explained how to reset the unit. It was very easy and it worked.

The volume button does not work at all. It was so loud that it produced annoying and irritating sounds. Also, the product was supposed to come with 3 different sound cards, but it only came with one that's already installed, and another one that has 12 extra sounds....or in this case....NOISE! Love falling asleep to the sounds of waves. My husband sometimes watches tv late and this blocks the sound from the living room. The only negative is setting the alarm and clock. I wish it had separate hour and minute hands.

I had an increase in my long-time very mild tinnitus about a month ago, and it started interfering with my sleep. I think the Sound Oasis S-650-01 with the optional Ear Therapy Sound Card would be dynamite for anyone who has the kind of tinnitus I have (a million baby crickets chirping away) it is for me. I primarily use the Ear Therapy Sound Card's White Noise 6K track. (I usually have an air cleaner revved up to the 2nd or 3rd highest setting, of three, at night. It is possible that this might be affecting my estimation of the positive results I obtain from the Sound Oasis S-650-01 Sleep Therapy System.)

I tried several tracks on the three included cards. The general White Noise track on one of the them was quite promising. It produced a noise like a subway or train traveling underground. If you have ever tried to nap on a long subway ride you get the idea. It did knock out my tinnitus while I listened to it, although the track might take a bit of getting used to. A couple of days latter the Ear Therapy Card arrived, so I have not further experimented with other tracks on the included cards.

I look at the Sound Therapy System as one more arrow, and a particularly sharp one at that, in my quiver for managing tinnitus. It's nice to know that any time I want to pretty much knock it out for a bit, I can do so. Most importantly, since I started using the Ear Therapy Card White Noise 6K track I have been able to sleep much better.

By the way, my understanding is that only the S-650-01 can use the Ear Therapy Sound Card (it lists for about $25, but I obtained one on sale for $10), so be sure to check out that particular model.

I heartily recommend that anyone with tinnitus give this product a try. Five large stars.

Respironics Tucker Sling Flannel Style, Fits Incubator Mattress

My little guy never slept for more than 2 hours at a time before the Tucker sling. He would reflux in his sleep and wake up screaming. It was a nightmare for the first 8 weeks of his life. I tried putting a wedge under his mattress to elevate him but he would just slide down. Then I found out about the Tucker sling and everything changed. I bought the wedge and sling from the actual tucker sling website. From the first time I put him in the sling at about 2 months old, he slept for 4 hours (which was a miracle). And every night after that, he slept longer and longer. when he was about 4 months old, we had to buy another sling in a larger size and I opted for the kind that slips over the crib mattress (I thought this would give him extra room) and I just put the wedge under the crib mattress to elevate it. Worked like a charm. Finally at about 5 months old, i was able to put him to sleep normally in his crib.

Note: the wedge also works in a pack n play so I always took it to my parents' house with no problem.

The only issue I ever had was when I had to put my baby back in the sling after nursing in the middle of the night. He would always fall asleep nursing and it was hard to get him back in the sling without waking him up. I would always have to adjust the velcro and it would make a loud sound. But there's really no solution to that and my baby would go right back to sleep anyways.

I'm expecting again now and I will definitely use the sling again with my new baby if he has reflux too.

We didn't get any extra sleep out of this product because we already had our reflux baby elevated. The difference was the sense of safety we got from this product. Before this we were using rolled up towels on either side of her to keep her in place but as she gained weight she slipped down to the bottom of the crib more often. The tucker sling obviously prevents that so I feel much safer!! A few notes:

1. Yes you can swaddle. I searched all over to figure that out before I bought it but didn't really find much info on that. We use the summer infant swaddlers but it would work with a square blanket too. We leave the swaddler in the crib under the harness thing. Then we put the baby on top of both of them, harness her in and then swaddle her. I wish I could swaddle her before putting her in the crib but we have managed to do some wind down as we put her in the crib.

2. Your baby is stuck to the matress! If you need to get you baby out of bed in the middle of the night you either have to unvelcro them (which is very loud and will wake them up more) or what we usually do is scoot her up to create slack and then slide the entire tucker sling and mattress cover off. It is a bit awkward so I don't do it often but it is much easier and less disturbing than unvelcroing.

3. I ordered through the companies website because the description for this on Amazon is confusing and their product support folks couldn't help me. If you notice the link in the search page says the product is for a crib mattress but then when you click on the details the product description says it is for an incubator. I didn't want to get the wrong product so I ordered from the tucker website. Also, this one is flannel and the one I got is quilted which will be much better in the hot summers.

4. I am really curious how this will work when babies start to roll. I think they will just get tangled in it and frustrated and then we will have to lower the mattress and hope that the reflux is better. My daughter is 3 months old and we have had it for about 2 months now. We'll see what happens over the next few months and I will try to update this review.

5. We do use it on a pack and play as well as the crib. It is obviously too big for the thin pack and play mattress but it still hooks on securly. It is a little too long so our daughter can touch the bottom of the pack and play and bangs her feet on it sometimes.

Overall this is a great product that I would highly recommend to anyone whose baby has reflux. Oh, and we didn't get the wedge we use pillows and blankets under the crib matress to prop it up.

I was recommended the wedge and sling for my son who had mild reflux and it was a life saver. Once he was up on the sling he was able to sleep better at night and became a happy baby. The wedge is light and props up the mattress wonderfully and the sling does its job to keep the baby from sliding down. Only issue I had with the sling is the top became stained from my son spitting up formula on it and it couldn't be removed. Also after 4 months of constant use it started to tear but my son was also at the max weight limit for his size so that could be part of the reason. I would purchase this again and it was well worth the money for me.

Bed Wedge-Foam Wedge Pillow. Good for Acid Reflux, Snoring.

I searched for a while comparing different bed wedges and decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did it's great! The price is good, compared to others, the shipping was fast and the wedge is pretty firm. I would think for a wedge to be effective it should be firm. This one also comes with a pillow cover for it, so there's no need to buy it separately, which I've seen quite a bit on other products. This can still be used with a pillow and the best thing about it is that it keeps its shape and doesn't sink down. Well worth the money!

I bought this after using the 12-inch wedge, which is uncomfortable to sleep on. Both the 7-inch and 12-inch do work for acid reflux, though the 7-inch doesn't work as well because you will tend to slide, making the elevation insuffient. In addition, they are not ergonomically designed. The main problem is the lack of lumbar support. The human spine is not perfectly straight. You need to put a rolled towel under your lower back to feel comfortable, otherwise you'll find yourself sliding down toward the bottom of the wedge in the morning. Prepare to get lower backaches. Also, this is not designed for side sleepers. I'm going to try stacking something under the head of the bed instead.

I ordered this for my mother who has a breathing condition. It elevated her enough to make a real difference. She was struggling with five pillows before and was able to go down to one. If you just have some mild reflux, this may be too high, but for someone who is sleeping in a chair because of breathing difficulties this is just the ticket. Comes with a soft cover so you are not right on the foam. This made a big difference for my mother and she can sleep in her bed again.

I suffer from Acid Reflux and my doctor recommended elevating the head of the bed or using a bed wedge. I tried pillows and found them to be very uncomfortable. This bed wedge works as advertised but is a little too short (length) and narrow (Width). This makes it a bit uncomfortable, specially on the lower back and arms. Its a great improvement from using pillows to create an incline but my arms hang down the sides and I had to add to the length by using pillows in the end. Based on the wear patters on it now I anticipate having to replace it in 3 6 months.

A longer and wider bed wedge would be much better. I found a wider and longer bed wedge online and intent to purchase it when this one wears out.

Pros:

Better than using pillows to create an incline.

Comfortable if you have a small to medium upper body frame.

Cons:

Too short (Length). I had to add to length using pillows in order to be able to use it comfortably without back pain.

Too narrow (Width)so arms hang down the sides.

Only one pillow cover.

Wear pattern after one month of use leads me to believe this wedge will have a 3-6 month life span.

Flimsy zipper on pillow cover.

If money is an issue this will do fine. If you can affort to spend $150-200 there is a wider, longer, better constructed pillow on the market with a longer warranty.

UPDATE: March 5, 2011

As I suspected the foam has compacted and is now uncomfortable to use. I will be replacing it with another product. Don't expect it to last for more that 3-6 months.

These are a very nice set of earplugs. There are six packs of four pairs each, thus 24 pairs. It is a good value, and is made in USA. Recommended.

I needed some earplugs for an upcoming NASCAR trip and figured these would be just as good as any. I tested them out and they seem to work well and fit nicely. We'll see how they work at the race. I live in an apartment complex and the neighbors above and to the side of me love to run their incredibly loud and obnoxious air conditioner units all night long and year round (even in winter, no clue why..). Their AC units are literally right outside my bedroom window so I often had trouble sleeping at night because of the noise. I bought these ear plugs in hopes of getting a good night sleep. I've tried other ear plugs but they all hurt my ears after a bit so I couldn't bare to sleep in them. I give them 4 stars though, because they don't completely block out the sounds, they just muffle them enough to allow me to sleep. I frequently have trouble falling asleep, which is a big problem because if I don't get 8 hours I have a lot of trouble waking up in the morning for work. I sometimes take Bennadryl, because it makes you really drowsy, but I was afraid there might be negative effects to taking bennadryl on a regular basis, so I decided to try this out. It did work in that I was able to fall asleep, however I woke up ~3 hours ago and I still feel drowsy/spacey. I did take two Midol (which contain caffeine) to try and offset it. Zeo Mobile Sleep Manager

Let me start by telling you that I am a Zeo fan. The bedside unit has been with me for a couple of years now and has helped me understand and improve the way I sleep. Zeo (the company) is a pioneer in the emerging field of self-quantification (or lifestyle measurement). The bedside device helped me understand what was going on with my sleep pattern. Being able to compare the data with other people my age gave me a kind of perspective I couldn't get elsewhere.

I travel heavily. The problem with a bulky bedside unit is that you can't really take it with you on a long series of hotel nights. So, I was only able to get a partial look at the realities of the ways that I sleep.

I got very excited when the new more portable unit came out. The iPhone integration is the exact right idea.

Unfortunately, the software isn't ready for prime time yet.

It's taken more than a week to get to the point that I am hoping to have the system operating properly tonight. The data integration problems mentioned elsewhere really slowed my transition from the old version to the new. I simply couldn't get the iPad to run the software effectively (there is a data display bug that interferes with use when you view data in the landscape mode)

So, I added plugs to my nightstand and started to run the iPhone version.

Night 1, it collected the data but saved the date improperly (reporting as September 16 instead of November 10)

Night 2, it completely lost the data from that night's sleep

Night 3, solid data collection, operating properly, right date

Night 4, stopped collecting data after I got up and went to get a glass of water in the middle of the night.

Then, there's the question of using multiple devices on one account. I think I'd like to use the bedside version most of the time at home and the portable version on the road. Given the complexities of data integration already, I'm doubtful that there's going to be a quick solution for this.

My ideal system will take inputs from multiple devices online and integrate with offline data storage. Heck, I can't even find the topic in the FAQs.

So, hold off on this one. It's a good idea but they need to finish testing the software.

The very friendly folks at ZEO gave me amazing customer service over the course of several weeks as they tried to make my product work. Unfortunately, the failures kept happening.

While I was very flattered by the treatment I received, there were so many operating issues that I started to feel like an employee of the company. Ultimately I asked for and received a refund.

Compare this to my experience with the Jawbone UP Band (which measures sleep and daily physical activity). When it became apparent that there were quality issues with the product, Jawbone immediately announced a No Questions Asked Money Back Offer that included a refund and a new device. In addition, there was no requirement that you return the device. Friendly customer service os one thing. You simply filled out the online form.

Taking full responsibility for product success is the gold standard.

If you want to become a member of a beta test team, buy the ZEO device. Otherwise, wait until they've got it right.

Again, I really like the people at ZEO and am a big fan of their other product. They never shied away from addressing my issues and gave great customer service. I just wanted a product that worked.

First off, I am very interested in sleep and brain waves. I have done a lot of research in both over the years, and experimented with brain wave synchronization, and alternative sleep patterns. When I first heard about Zeo over two years ago, I was so excited to be able to measure my brainwaves that I immediately ordered one of their Zeo Bedside Sleep Managers (known as the Zeo Personal Sleep Coach at the time) and even added on the guided coaching option for an extra hundred dollars. Since I found Zeo so early in the company's lifecycle, I always felt close to the company, have been a big fan, and I liked the overall feel of the device and the website. However, the first Zeo was behind the times in that it used an SD card to get data from the device to the internet. (While I had been using an alarm clock with a web interface for years before this, it seemed like they could have added wireless or Ethernet to the device costing three hundred and fifty dollars) Anyway, the problem with the bedside Zeo was not being able to see your data on the site without first going through the pain of taking the SD card out, putting it in your computer going to the website selecting the file, uploading it, then trying to remember to take the SD card back to the Zeo before the next night. The Zeo basically became a very expensive alarm clock, after time, I would no longer upload data, which meant there was no reason to analyze the data, which meant I could stop wearing that headband. I suggested several times to Zeo that they need to have an automated way to get the data uploaded.

Enter the Zeo Mobile, when I first heard about this I had to go out and buy it. Plus it was a third of the cost of the original Zeo. I already used an iPod next to my bed to listen to some brain sync music while drifting off. It would be a bonus if my data was getting uploaded each night then I could finally analyze my sleep data and get better sleep. I did see a few complaints about the Zeo on Amazon's Reviews, but I figured I had a Zeo Bedside, and it worked OK besides the design flaw; there was no way the Zeo Mobile could be THAT bad...

I anxiously awaited the package in the mail. My first night with the Zeo Mobile, I got the headband paired up with my iPod via Bluetooth and went to sleep upon waking I clicked stop on the app and it crashed. My data did not get uploaded... I also had to fiddle with the headband for over a minute to get it to sit on the base correctly to charge. The next night, I had to go through the whole exercise of pairing the iPod to the headband via Bluetooth again. The next morning it crashed again. Fiddle with headband to get it to charge. Two days of data not uploaded to the website, I was beginning to think the other Amazon reviews were right. The third night it worked and actually uploaded all three nights of data... OK, things are getting better maybe it is not so bad.

I had a backup alarm set, just in case, so hadn't realized the alarm was not going off each morning until the weekend when it did go off, but wasn't supposed to. This continued the alarm would go off on days it wasn't supposed to, and occasionally would go off on days it was supposed to.

About twice a week the headband lost connectivity with the iPod, and had to be re-paired. This was a pain as you find this out when you are just about to sleep. And have to fiddle with the pairing, and the blue light on top of the headband blinks very brightly waking up those around you. After complaining to Zeo customer support about this they mentioned a firmware upgrade for the headband, I updated that and I had no more issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping.

However after upgrading the firmware, the iOS app seemed to increase the frequency it crashed. I went a whole week with the app crashing every night while I was asleep. When the app crashed during the night the data was not captured and I had no data from that night. These crashes were around an hour after I went to sleep. Customer support said to uninstall and reinstall the app. This did not help, I tried pairing the headband to my iPhone instead of my iPod and got 4 hours of data before the app crashed that night. Each of these nights I would not have been awoken if I had not had a backup alarm set.

After time, it realized while fiddling with the headband in the morning to get it to snap into the charging base correctly was due to the forehead pads being a bit too thick. Squeezing the top of the band would allow it to charge, but letting go made it shift so it did not charge. The bottom of the band needed to come out a bit more. I switched headband straps with the one I used on my bedside Zeo which had 2 years of use, and it seemed to pop into place most of the time.

Zeo customer support recommended closing all other apps before going to sleep to stop the Zeo app from crashing. The app still crashed for me. All the clicking on the iPod each night was annoying. Plus there were screens in the iOS app that listed instructions that you had to click through each night; it would have been good to show these for the first few days rather than every night. In all I must have had to click 20 or more things each night before going to sleep. My iPod was really only used next to my bed, if you used your iPhone you would have much more clicking to do to close all the other apps. This was a lot of things to do when you want to hop into bed. Compared to the Zeo bedside, going to bed was easy. You just take the headband off the base and put it on. In the morning you take it off and put it on the stand. (I never had the bedside headband not snap correctly into place, either)

Zeo's customer support responded fairly quickly to my questions, and I had a lot of them. They did have a solution to the Bluetooth problem. However, despite their best efforts, I have not really gotten help in resolving the other many issues with the Zeo. So it is with regret that I have to send this device back to Amazon. I feel as though a good friend let me down. I plan to use the Zeo Bedside for a while, but I am sure that after some time I will again no longer take SD card back and forth from the bedroom to the office, no longer upload my data frequently, and stop using the headband.

Pros:

Data gets uploaded to Zeo's website automatically (IF everything goes right, big IF)

Cons:

Alarm has a mind of its own, it goes off when it is not supposed to and doesn't when it should.

iOS app crashes a lot, 1) while sleeping loses all data after crash. 2) while uploading data in morning, will upload it on next success.

Headband loses Bluetooth connectivity, seems to have been fixed by firmware upgrade.

Headband doesn't snap into charging base easily. Headband is too fat. Fiddling with it causes stress each morning.

Too much button pushing each night. Causes a bit of stress before going to sleep.

Bottom Line:

cannot be trusted as an alarm clock

does not reliably collect sleep data

I've been using the zeo mobile for about a week. I don't have a bedside zeo, so this is my first experience with it.

The initial device setup was surprisingly easy. I just charged it and paired it with my phone (an Android phone). Nightly operation is also simple and has been reliable so far: I take the headband off the charger, listen for the sound from my phone, put it on, and sleep. In the morning, I put it back on the charger, go to my phone, and check the zeo app to see how I did. So far I've found the ZQ scores correlate well with my subjective feeling about how rested I am.

Syncing the data to the web site wasn't as smooth. I tried creating an account at the site, but it seems to be designed for the bedside one, and doesn't offer an option to sync with a mobile unit. I eventually used my phone to set up syncing, which worked fine, and I can see all my data on the site. I haven't played around with the site enough to know how useful the online features are.

Good:

Simple reliable operation (with Android, at least).

Data seems to make sense.

Headband is comfortable and doesn't bother me while sleeping.

Bad:

The website is in flash and registration could be simpler (advice: use the mobile app to register and set up sync).

The device doesn't snap into the charger convincingly. I usually have to move it around a little before I'm convinced it's charging.

Don't know yet:

Long term reliability.

The Zeo Mobile collects at most one block of sleep per 24 hours. If I wake up and move around during the night, it only reports one half of the night. It is very frustrating, because I can see the data reaching my iPhone, but the display there is too small for useful analysis.

I reported this to Zeo, asking how to record and download the whole night, and the customer service response said, in part: "At the moment, Zeo is designed to capture a full night of sleep data, as opposed to shorter time periods (like naps)" and continued on the assumption that I was trying to collect naps.

Apparently, the Zeo people sleep too well to understand that a night's sleep might involve multiple discontinuous blocks of sleep time. Their software is designed only for those who sleep through the night.

As a frequent traveler (and busy graduate student) that suffers from heavy jetlag, I found the new Zeo mobile to be an excellent tool to help understand my strange sleep patterns in shifted time zones. While I acknowledge that a sleep clinic might provide more/better data, I do have to say that the continuous measurement (on the road) aspect is what gives the Zeo mobile it's appeal. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque 12 oz. Jar

I've always bought this mask in a tube and found it to be difficult to get out of the tube. I ended up getting a cheap jar from the container store to put mine in, but in this case, you end up getting four ounces more AND the jar, so if I were you, this would be the better option. It's just easier to work with in this format. Needless to say, I love the product. I like that I can use it more than once a week and it doesn't dry out my skin. I acutally have a cycle where I do this one night, the mud pack mask the next night, and then the grape seed peel off the next night and start over. Obviously I have very problem skin that takes a lot of work. It's nice to have a product that works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Kaolin in China Clay and that's basically most of what this product is. QH makes two masks, I just like the one with the weird minty smell and the sulfur for any potential problem pores.

Wash your face to remove excess oil before applying. Also, make sure you've eaten and that you're hydrated so you don't try screwing your face up to drink, etc.

A reasonable layer will draw unwanted substances from the pores. If you're doing a home-spa treatment and you've finished the bath and the lotions, and you're going to relax for a half hour or something, put on a thick layer, put a fan on your face and let the thick layer dry while you relax and hold your face still. If you leave this on overnight, you will wake up looking really rejuvenated... and the drying process with the fan feels great.

((It's a little silly to walk around with a deadpan expression all night, but if your significant other doesn't mind, or you're single, I think you'll be surprised at how smooth and fresh everything looks in the morning.))

Leaving the mask on for an hour does the pore stuff. Leaving it on overnight does something else I can't quite explain. Do whichever you want. After it's off, slather on a good night cream and don't use anything exfoliating for three days. Scrubbing the mask off is enough abrasion for a while.

I like to use this product twice per month if I have the time.

p.s. If you leave it on overnight, put your hair up/away and cover your pillowcase with towel or use one you're ok with tossing in the hamper. It does flake off if you go to bed with it on and smells a bit odd.

I adore this stuff I use it about every two to four weeks and every time I'm delighted with how soft and clean my skin feels compared to when i just use my usual daily face wash.

I'll just jump right into some pro's and cons

Pro's

How much use you get from one jar! I bought this jar months ago and it's only maybe half gone, and that's with my mother occasionally using it too.

It's easy to use, i was a little apprehensive about buying it on account of how long you're supposed to leave it on, but i keep the jar on a night stand in my room, i slap it on and then watch tv or whatever til it's dry.

I'll use a tiny dab on a blemish and leave it on over night (it usually flakes off in my sleep) and the next morning if it isn't completely gone it looks atleast 3 times better.

the smell is very nice.

As far as con's I really only have one, and I think it's more of a slightly sensitive skin issue then really the products fault, and that's that the mint burns just a tiny bit nothing unbearable or even enough to make me stop using it but just enough to make me probably buy one of the other varieties like the peach or mud pack version after i run out.

Pros:

It does clean off many (not all) blackheads and seems to reduce the size of existing pimples, although it does not get rid of them.

It does not irritate my skin, although I do need to moisturize soon after using it.

The large size jar is a great idea and will last quite a long time--however, you need to keep it tightly closed.

I have accidentally gotten it on my clothes and it has never left a stain... however, I would still be careful about it.

Very thick texture and mild cooling sensation--feels great! You can feel your skin tightening when it's drying.

Cons: (Basically all the downsides of using any mask)

Takes a long time to dry if you're using a lot--sometimes it takes about 15 minutes for me.

Takes forever to clean off. I usually use it before a shower to open up my pores--that makes it easy to clean off.

It can get very messy both when you're applying and cleaning off. It will crack apart and flake a little.

Other notes:

I use it once or twice a week--I suspect that people with sensitive skin (like me) will have problems if they use it too often.

I would not use this on broken skin.

It is not a miracle product. It will not magically make everything about your face better. However, it is a good mask and cleaner if you have the patience to use it, and it won't make your face any worse.

I have now used every melatonin product made by Natrol and even a few from other companies. The fast dissolve is hands down my favorite! It gets you to sleep FAST and doesn't seem to last as long as the traditional pills, this is the part i really like! The time release version leave me groggy the next morning but the fast dissolve seem to clear my system in 5-6 hours. Might just be my reaction, but if your seeking help sleeping I'd highly recomend this product! Safe and effective!

I like the way it tastes, and it does a fabulous job of promoting sleep. As other reviewers have stated, the pills are soft and crumble easily; when I carry them in my purse for travelling, this has been a problem. I've tried the whole line of Dream Essential sleep masks and this is my favorite for at home use. I love the soft comfortable fabric of this mask. It feels luxurious. The fabric is a pleasure to wear against the skin. I'm a side sleeper and use the mask all night to block morning light. I love the strap system; this is one of the few masks that usually stays on throughout the night. The profile of the mask is also thin which makes it comfortable for all types of sleeper. It's even a great mask to pack in your suitcase for road trips. The Escape has no light leakage unlike some other masks. Best of all it doesn't rest on your eyes. It is a pleasure to use for extended periods. I absolutely love this mask and won't sleep without it.

I've been using the Dream Essentials Escape sleeping mask for quite some time now, since January 2011, and now it's August.

What I like most about this sleeping mask is that it is highly durable and well made. I've used two other sleeping masks including the Sweet Dreams countered sleeping mask from Dream Essentials which was good but not as durable or light-blocking as this mask. Durability is key for long term use, and the Escape does just that.

The mask is very large though, and heavy so to say. It is quite a bit of material on the face but does the job well. The convenient adjustable straps are a plus too!

The fabric is high quality and will definitely last you over time. The BEST feature is the contoured shape for the eyes which puts NO pressure on the eyes when you open them at night. Perfect mask for anyone!

I bought this for my mom as a gift. The quality of the item was high. Nice packaging, and includes the carry bag and ear plugs. Well made and will last a long time. I asked my mom for her opinion for the review, and she said to give it three stars and to say it's good for blocking out the light, but is a bit too heavy on the face. Would prefer it to be lighter in weight. She also said it can be uncomfortable when you are lying on your side or stomach. It is not necessarily a bad product it depends on your sleeping habits/positions and personal preference.

I work 3 nights a week and after almost 6 years, it's still difficult for me to sleep during the day. I have been using the Lewis and Clark sleep mask for the last couple years, which is totally great in terms of comfort and it's ability to create total darkness, but was starting to get a little worn out and it also bleeds a blue color all over face and pillow case when you go to bed with wet hair...the latter is really frustrating, but I have learned to just buy blue pillow cases!

I purchased the Dream Essentials sleep mask a few days ago and was surprised by its rigidity. I think some people must be sensitive to fabric touching their eyes, which makes this product a decent candidate for those folks. I generally sleep with my eyes completely closed and would rather have material touching my eye lids than a sleep mask that doesn't stay in one place and can't shift with the movements of my body as I sleep. The velcro also got stuck in my hair all night because it kept falling down toward my neck, despite how tight I would try to tie it. The rigid material gave me an intense headache if I tried to sleep on my side or even turn my head to the side! You can't sleep on your side with this product because the material digs into the side of the head, which also caused a bit of bulging, leaving open spaces where light could seep in.

If you are a consistent back sleeper this product might work for you. I don't recommend this product for anyone who is a light sleeper, toss and turners, or sensitive to harsh contours of face masks on the skin.
