I was having debilitating panic attacks, along with general anxiety for weeks. I went to the doctor who prescribed Lexapro. After being on it for just two days, I had terrible side effects from the medicine. Within about two hours of taking my first dose, I noticed a marked difference. It was the first relief I had since the anxiety started. I started taking just 50 mg in the morning. Over the course of a week and a half I worked up to taking 100 mg in the morning, 50 mg mid-day and 100 mg before bed. I have been on it for about 15 day. The panic attacks and anxiety are not completely gone but about 80 percent improved. I read that it can take up to six weeks to notice the full benefits of 5-HTP. Just today I purchased my second bottle of this supplement. I highly recommend this product.
