Herbs For Kids Valerian Super Calm Alcohol-Free

My Grandson has had trouble sleeping since he was born. All sorts of powerful medicines (one of which, Clonodine, had very bad effects on his blood pressure so I really wanted to get him off of that one ASAP) have been used with varying results. I am not a big fan of herbal products but after checking out every ingredient in this product to be sure that

1) it was safe for kids

2) that none of these ingredients would conflict with his Bi-Polar medications

I tried it out.

It works great. We give it to him 15 minutes before he has to be asleep and sure enough, he is sleeping like a baby in 15 minutes. He is 12 1/2 years old and before this we would have to fight and fight to get him to even lay down. I would walk past his room at 12 or 1 AM and he would still be awake. No more! Now he goes to sleep and stays asleep all night (unless he drinks too much water or milk before bedtime, then he will wake up to go to the bathroom and go right back to sleep).

One point, don't believe the claim that the kids will love the taste. This stuff tastes bad and smells even worse, but when we ask him if he wants to skip a night he begs to have us give it to him because he likes the rest he is now getting. Now all they need to do is make it taste better and get rid of the smell and there will be nothing more to complain about. Also, the instructions say to give it three times a day. Forget that. It is not effective during the day for "calming". Perhaps this is due to the Bi-Polar meds he takes but for bedtime it works super... three drops and he is fast asleep. We are on our second bottle now and I am about to order two more 2 ounce bottles right now, because I don't want to run out.

My 7-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Separation Anxiety Disorder. It is a type of anxiety that makes her very anxious, nervous and unsettled. It is especially bad in the evenings. It's fall, and this time of year I tend to find myself getting to work later and later. I love mid June when you wake up with the sun and can get to work early. I love this clock, getting up at 5:00am is easier with it. I use it to get to sleep and I use it to wake up. I was very apprehensive about the price, hey, these things break sometimes. I got the clock and found it was as heavy and sturdy as it looks. It will not easily get knocked off the night stand, it takes some effort to move it. It was well packaged. I like the port, you can plug an ipod in it. I'm still unsure of whether I can connect my iphone in it. The speaker works great and the rain mp3, sounds like rain. I wish it had come with more mp3's with bird sounds, but I do have the option of downloading some. Overall, it's effective.

This is not a perfect device in the realm of consumer electronics, but I still give it a 5 because such a niche product will never have the polish of an iPhone or the latest Sony TV. It basically does everything I want very well with only a few limitations and annoyances. Setting it up takes some time, but they do a good job with the menus. The song playing features are a bit weak. This clearly isn't an MP3 player by design. One complaint is that it doesn't play all the formats that some other devices play and some of my songs aren't compatible. Not a big deal though since I only need it for a couple songs to wake up to. The radio seems to pick up stations pretty good. You can plug a lamp into this and use the dimmer on the front which is great feature. The dimmer is extremely granular so you can use it to set the light wherever you want. I use that feature all the time.

Best way to turn off the alarm is to turn the light dial a bit I have found that way you don't have to press the wake button again to turn the alarm back on. I haven't investigated this fully yet, I've just noticed that the "Sleep" and "Wake" buttons have some strange behavior depending on what state the alarm is in, but it's not a big deal and my daily routine seems to keep everything working so I haven't been too worried about figuring it all out.

I've addressed a lot of small points which really overshadow the major benefit of this alarm which is the light. Simple put, it works very well and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's pretty bright by about 8 minutes into a 15 minute cycle so even if you put it at 30 minutes it would probably wake you around 15 minutes in -that is if you are in any way in direct view of it. But I can't imagine it being any more graduated; at some point the sun comes up and it's light, right? There is only so much in between and this device does it as well as it can, in my view. Overall, this is worth the price.

Overall I like this clock and I think it's worth every penny.

1) Screen: The screen where the time is was not too bright for me. It is adjustable and I thought it was fine.

2) Features I would like to add: I do wish it had an internet wifi hook-up but that's being really picky. I think more versatility in times of how long it takes the light to turn on and maximum light settings at wake-up would be nice.

3) Wake-up: The light can come on over 30, 15 or 5 minutes. The previous reviewer is correct that the music and light come on at the same time. However, the music is very soft at first and as the light becomes brighter and brighter the music becomes louder and louder to a maximum that you preset. You can also plug a lamp into the back. I use both a lamp and the light on top of the radio. You can use the lamp by itself, the light on the radio by itself, or both. Waking up is much more pleasant with this radio versus the old loud traditional alarm clock I had before.

4) Size: I was also concerned about the size when I order it but when I got it it fit nicely on my bedstand without cluttering it.

Hermell Products Dual Position Bed Wedge

i ordered this and another of the best reviewed popular bed wedges and it wasn't even close. the other wedge was very very firm made of basically a solid foam w/ only a very slight give. this is made of egg crate foam as the picture shows and is very soft and at the same time supportive. it is like, "ok those two aren't even close" when you try them out.

as another reviewer said it isn't the widest. i'm 6'1" 210 w/ broad shoulders that go outside the edges but that isn't a problem as your shoulders naturally curve forward at their edges and the part of my shoulders before they start curving forward is still enclosed and supported. finally, i have no idea what (other than the egg crate) that picture of the wedge is showing (it's confusing and looks like it has a sharp angle in the middle, which i does not). i wasn't even sure when i ordered it what it was going to look like when i got it. to clear that up it looks like any of the other bed wedges that you see being offered (that is a solid triangle wedge shape) but unlike the other products it has a slight "U" shape essentially built into it for the section where you would lay on / lean against (like what you'd expect the back of a race car driver's seat to have with a U shaped curve to support where your body comes into contact with it rather than a flat surface (like the floor). makes a HUGE difference as well.

finally, even if you don't use this for sleeping (which i decided in the end not to use either of the wedges for sleeping) i'm still keeping this for sitting on the bed / couch watching TV, it's that comfortable

This pillow is good quality, and it is soft enough to be comfortable. The problem with the pillow is that it is narrow. I bought this for my fiance who suffers from congestive heart failure and has trouble breathing at night. He is not a large man, but he cannot fit comfortably on this pillow. Either his arms dangle down off the sides of the pillow (which is uncomfortable) or he has to cross them over his chest like a vampire in a coffin. I have the same problem on the pillow, and I am only 5' 6" and weigh 120 lbs. Ultimately it would cost me too much to ship it back for it to be worth getting a refund, but it is useless to us. If you are very narrow shouldered, or if you are buying this for a child or adolescent it would likely be perfect, but it just isn't practical for a normal-sized adult.

It's also not too overwhelming, it's somthing I plan on buying more of, this stuff is great.

Put a little over somthing that aches on you and it relives a fairly good amount of pain, and also stops scalp itching in hot areas where you dry out, the cooling effect is great.

I can't vouch for the anti dandruff or hair loss aid working or not, but with all the great effects I'm getting out of using this I would not doubt that it does work.

So in summery, it's cheap, came in good condition, smells very herbal, the sent lasts a long time, cooling has long duration, it does indeed stop scalp itching caused by dryness and heat, it eases head aches, and lowers the pain and itching around my wounded leg.

I love this stuff and plan on getting more.

If you can tolerate the flavor, the oil in liquid form is MUCH more economical.

So, here's my experience of these capsules: The capsules definitely are NOT odorless. When I take them, I wait until I'm eating something with a fairly strong flavor--lately, lasagna--then, I hold my breath, put three of these in my mouth, and drink water as quick as I can, and then immediately put a bite of food in my mouth. Sometimes I still gag on the capsules a little, and usually I taste the gross fish taste as they go down. Once in a while I have a fishy burp, which is absolutely disgusting. Overall, though, this process works for me, and I'm glad I've found a way to get the stuff down.

Compared to the orange flavored capsules: honestly, these unflavored ones have had a much milder flavor than the orange ones. The company claims that flavor really varies by batch, often just because of the fish's diet...that makes sense to me. So, I suspect I will continue to notice variation among different bottles. The color of the orange ones is a pretty golden orange, which looks much more appealing than the color of the unflavored ones; they are a really gross looking dark brown. If there is any orange flavor to the orange ones, I haven't noticed it, because they smells too much like fish.

I am also taking these with butter oil (in capsules). Happily, the butter oil pretty much has no flavor at all.

Someone else mentioned on the orange flavored capsules product page that Amazon was the cheapest they found this stuff. Actually, it isn't. Today, Amazon is charging $31/bottle. The manufacturer's website sells this for $30/bottle (if you order 1-5 products), or less if you order more products ($25 each if you order 6-11 products, and $22 if you order 12+ products). They do let you mix and match if you want to order the butter oil or something else to get a lower price.

So, in conclusion, this stuff is disgusting, but I believe that it is worth taking anyway. I've been taking it for about a week now, and I've already ordered my next batch. I ordered 3 more of the orange flavored ones, a bottle of the unflavored capsules, plus a bottle of the orange flavored liquid, and a bottle of butter oil liquid. The capsules have really helped me adjust to the flavor, and I am hoping to transition to liquids in the future, because this is expensive!

I highly recommend these capsules to anyone who had trouble taking non-capsules. These are MUCH easier to swallow.

These have kept away my season affective disorder this winter---that deserves 20 stars! I usually take one or two per day. They smell bad, but are tasteless and I've never had any "burps" from them--thank goodness!

This was a great find! I purchased it because it was cheap (about 7 bucks) and it was made by Aveeno. My skin suffers from multiple personalities... sometimes it think it's combination, other days, it thinks it's full blown oily and then, there are those days when it erupts with major eczematous patches with a sprinkling of pimples. As a result, my skin likes to react to the same product in different ways depending on its mood. But somehow, Aveeno products have provided some stability to my skin's psyche.

Soooo... back to the review, I love this cleanser. It's very gentle (no abrasive beads, no harsh soaps to strip away moisture) but is still very effective in cleaning off all of my makeup, including my waterproof mascara! Typically, I use the Lancome Bifacil eye makeup remover but sometimes, that feels too harsh so instead, I gently massage this cleanser on my lids and on my eyelashes (without rubbing it into the eyes). I know it works because the next day, after I take a hot shower, I don't have the telltale raccoon eyes of residual mascara.

Another plus, it's got a great fragrance... not too strong but pleasant enough to make your cleansing routine that much more enjoyable.

What can I say, I heart Aveeno and they have another winner with this product.

This is an excellent daily facial cleaner. It leaves you feeling light and bright each morning. Its a great option for those looking for an oil-free and soap-free wash. The price also cant be beat, compared to many of the other more expensive cleansers on the market.

Natural Calm Natural Vitality

This is an excellent source of magnesium which provides a number of health benefits. Some obvious and some not so obvious. I have trouble sleeping, waking up many times at night and like everybody else I deal with my fair share of stress.

I have been using this product for almost a week now and my only complaint is that I didn't find pit about it sooner! First, a bit about myself.
