I'm 58 years old. I alternate the use of this cream every other night with the mega rich anti-aging cellular cream (also by Peter Thomas Roth). This cream is unscented, not too thick (it has some consistency to it though) and it doesn't get sticky on your face. Once applied your skin drinks it up quickly and gets shiny. It does tons of good to my skin. My complexion is more supple, soft, luminous and firm. The expression lines have been dramatically smoothed out. No allergies or breakouts (I'm very prone to it). I've tried quite a few anti-aging moisturizing creams but none have shown significant improvement such as this product. PTR has a thick creamy consistency. It goes on smoothly with no fragrance and absorbs fast. I could see a big difference in a few hours face skin more smooth and silky, pores reduced somewhat and just overall improvement in skin tone and color. I had some discoloration from previous dry patches and within a couple of days using PTR, the patchiness in color was totally smoothed out. I originally purchased this at full price (ouch!) and was happy to see it on Amazon at the reduced price. My face is loving this new cream! I'll update later on if my opinion changes. I also ordered the PTR peel pads and hope they live up to the very positive reviews.

This cream did it's trick with keeping my skin hydrated, soft & supple. However, PTR Mega Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Creme did all the same PLUS worked wonders on my skin. I had a wrinkle between between my eyes and laugh lines that PTR Mega RIck Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Creme literally made disappear. After using PTR Anti-Aging I find that the PTR Mega Rich Intensive is the better product for me.

I got these for two reasons: we had crickets during the summer, and my boyfriend snores. It works great for the crickets! After putting these in, I no longer hear them at all. They don't work that well for the snoring but, it's better than nothing though. I usually change them every 3-4 uses because otherwise they fall out or my ears feel a bit irritated.

The earplugs work decently well, but after using them a few times, they started falling out of my ears while I was sleeping, so I'd wake up in the middle of the night due to noise. I guess they're fine for one or two uses?

We've had this for about a year now. I always have had trouble waking in the mornings. This helps a lot. We don't need to use any other alarms or even the "beep" function. By the time the light is halfway up, we're pretty much awake. (As long as no one succumbs to the urge to turn it down again mid-way!) Using the sunset function works well for limiting the length of bedtime story reading and transitioning from stories to sleep for the kids.

My only quibble is the quality of this lamp/clock. When we first got it, the light would flicker or strobe unexpectedly. Time and tinkering seemed to fix it. The white noise function barely works. It only comes on when the light is on, if I screw around with it, and goes off when the light does. There's no separate control for it, nor a volume control. I wish that were separate. Is it just me, or doesn't it seem counter-intuitive to have the white noise only run when the light is ON? It doesn't come back on when the sunrise function begins, either.

The clock also runs consistently fast. Every few weeks I have to adjust it as the time grows ten or more minutes ahead.

We like it a lot, but there are a lot of foibles to contend with for the price.

I only wish I had purchased my sunrise lamp years ago; I love it! While it took me a couple of mornings to get the lamp and alarm settings exactly how I need them, it is so nice to wake up more easily and in a better mood. Programming the light is fairly simple, but one thing to remember is that the light will turn itself off about 15 minutes after the set wake up time. I found that extending the wake up sequence from 30 to 60 or 90 minutes made a big difference. My husband and I both have to get up early and it's always dark in the winter; our sunrise lamp really does make getting up easier and we both agree that we are actually happy instead of grumpy when we get up. We no longer need to set our audible alarms as we naturally wake with the lamp.

Here are my 3 issues with this:

1. Low quality design and construction. As soon as you take it out of the box you wonder why you paid so much for it. It looks like it was spray painted by a child and the buttons are flimsy.

2. It is tedious to use. There are only 3 buttoms to use all of the features(not including the alarm on/off button). Just to set the time, you have to go through a menu with one button until you get to the time set mode and then you can only increment/decrement one minute at a time (no hour incrementing). Major pain in the ass.

3. It doesn't work. I was really excited about having this clock. I was so sick of waking up to the beep-beep-beep of my old alarm clock, and this seemed like it was going to make my whole day better. Unfortunately, the "sunrise" hasn't woken me up once, and I still wake up to the beep-beep-beep of it's backup alarm everyday. And I'm a very light sleeper.

I wish I had something good to say about this, but I don't. For me it was a lot of money for something that works no better than the cheap alarm clock I've had for 10 years. At least on the old one I could set the time very easily.

I was so frustrated with the first clock we received. I had the clock for 1 week and it did not work once. I set it for 5am and at 4:30am instead of starting a gradual brightening of the room, it would immediately start at full brightness and then progress to dim, before strobing. Not the way I want to wake up!

I contacted customer service and the woman asked me (in a rude manner) if I had held in the Program button while I was plugging in the light. I told her of course not. She told me I should have. This was not in the manual anywhere! I tried doing that and was woken up again the next day at 4:30am to immediate full light. I waited 3 days to hear back from the company via email about what to do with this product. They said I could ship it to them (at my expense) and have it serviced.

Thankfully, we bought it from Amazon, and not the company, or we would have had difficulty returning it for a working model. We have since received a new one, and this one works fine. As long as you don't get a defective clock, it is a nice thing to have, but save yourself the hassle and buy it from Amazon, rather than Biobrite.

This is a high quality product and really works, because of its unique design, when most chin restraints fail because they slip off in the middle of the night.

Sleep Restfully was very helpful in making sure that I got the right size, which was important because the sizes tend to run a lot smaller than regular hat sizes, because of the stretchy nature of the material and the need for it to fit snug to work.

UPDATE: I'd better pass on this tip. This chinstrap has turned out to be even better than I had originally thought, since I discovered that I was putting it on wrong!

My natural inclination was to put my head through the largest of the three openings, with the label ending up in the back of my head, but near the top. But this caused the front vertical straps to come down annoyingly close to my eyes.

Now I have discovered that this was wrong!

Instead, I put my head through the middle-sized opening, with the label ending up in the back of my head but way down near my neck. That puts my face through the largest opening, allowing the front vertical straps to stay out of my face and end up on the side of my head just in front of my ears.

This is much, much more comfortable all the way around, and holds my chin a little snugger too.

I've been using it nightly for a little over a month now, and it works great. It does take about a week to get used to. Making sure you're putting it on correctly is also a key factor. It's pretty easy to put it on wrong and it feels totally too tight and wrong when you do. I've found that in the morning my mouth and throat are no longer dry, and I don't wake myself up with my own snoring anymore. I'm buying one for my brother for our upcoming trip home for Christmas. We're bunking together and his snoring could set off seismic alarms. I hope he'll consider using it.

Other chin straps are so gentle that they don't actually keep my chin up, or they pull my chin "Back" not up. Just look at the picture, this very obviously holds your chin "Up".

This item was the most stay-in-place design & least expensive of all the ones we looked at. It would have been comfortable, if I could've gotten a looser fit. What you need is something to very gently keep your mouth closed, not clamp it shut for gluing!

The first size (medium) was WAY too small, so I asked for an exchange for a larger size. The vendor was kind enough to just send two more in the large size, so there was no postage charge. However, these were also too small, even for my head (6 & 7/8ths hat size). Since I basically got this for my husband, there is no way even an Xtra-large would have been comfortable for him.

For me; I get migraines and sometimes wake up with headaches, and the pressure even from the large would have brought one on, so I gave up. Money down the drain. If you have a shrunken head, or have a small child that snores, this is the anti-snore device for him/her.

Seriously though, I have had dental assistance training, and mouth breathing in CHILDREN will cause severe deformation of the dental arch, which results in misaligned teeth and other problems.

PLEASE NOTE: Mouth breathing sometimes happens in children because swelled nasal passages are not allowing air to go through. Closing the only avenue for air might lead to the child removing the device in his sleep, or possibly suffocation if it is a very small child who cannot remove it. Better to take the child to a doctor to find the cause of the snoring.

I would recommend the Litebook if portability or space are key considerations for you. This device is compact and very portable. It comes in a nice carrying case with power adapters for other countries. I was able to take it to work and use it at my desk, and only the people sitting next to me noticed it. So, I would recommend it for use during travel or at the office.

However, the small size that makes it so portable is also Litebook's biggest negative. The area of light projected was small enough that I felt like I had to sit in one position the whole time I was using it just to keep my eyes within the appropriate range. I have now purchased a larger device, and while it takes up a lot more space, it allows me more freedom of movement. If you are just using your device at home I would suggest a larger one.

I also felt the battery on the Litebook depleted very quickly. If you purchase this product, I would recommend using it with the power cord whenever possible, and only using the battery when you really need to.

I had this problem for the past couple of years where I would not be able to sleep between the hours of 10pm and 3am. So I would end up falling asleep usually between 3-4am. Since I would have to get up at 730am for work I would end up getting 4 hours or less of sleep a night. This would result in me getting home from work around 5pm dog tired. I wouldn't feel like working out or doing much else. Often I would fall asleep around 6pm for a couple of hours. On the weekends I would fall asleep around 4am and sleep until 2 in the afternoon. I hated the whole pattern. If you're too tired to do anything it messes up your whole life. I tried the melatonin pills but those didn't work to well for me. I had these spacey dreams and this spacey feeling just before I fell asleep but that was it.

It is amazing how well the litebook worked for my sleeping problems. I got it in April and I use it for about a half hour in the morning while eating my breakfast and reading the news on my computer. The first thing you notice is that it gives you a kind of pick me up in the morning. I use it every day during the week, and sometimes on the weekends if I get up early enough, since you are supposed to use it at about the same time each day. It took a couple of weeks for it to start helping my sleep. I began getting sleepy around 11pm instead of around 300am. It's been almost four months and I really notice a change. I don't slack off at work as much anymore. I'm in better shape since I exercise more -I don't blow it off because I'm too tired.

I will say that in addition to the litebook I also did a couple of other things to help with my sleep. 1. I cut out all caffeine. No coffee or soft drinks or anything that has it. 2. Really limited my drinking of alcohol. I noticed that if I had more than two drinks in a day it would disturb my sleep. Three or four drinks would lead to noticeably less restful sleep. More than that, and if not hungover, I would feel a little rundown and beat.

In the end I will have to say I am totally happy with this product. It helped me take care of a major problem in my life. It's amazing how having screwed up sleeping patterns drags the rest of your life down. Now I pretty much consider myself cured.

I will be honest, when I smelt this for the very first time it was pretty spicey. I thought "Yuck this smells like my spice rack who would fall asleep to this!?".
