I'm not totally sold on this acupressure mat. It supposedly alleviates pain and brings on a state of euphoria. Perhaps the latter part is true. I do feel very relaxed while laying on the mat and have actually fallen asleep on it a few times only to wake up a hour later.

When I received the package I was a little surprised at how sharp the pressure nails really are. This is definitely to be kept out of reach of children. I laid it out and went shirt off my first time. It did hurt at first. It was a burning sensation that eventually subsided. And the first time I got up from the mat I thought my back was on fire. After multiple uses I did get used to all this and actually found it quite enjoyable.

The problem is; does it work? I cannot answer that. I can give you my background. I am a very active person. I golf 3-4x a week, jog regularly, and lift weights at the gym sometimes doing all 3 activities in 1 day. Earlier this year I strained my upper back muscle. If you've ever done this it's quite painful. This product never crossed my mind until I saw it at a very good price. After doing some research on the product I concluded that it's worth a shot. I also have trouble sleeping at night. I wake up probably 3-4x a night and never get a good nights rest.

Results:

The bed of nails did not help me with my sleeping problems. I still wake up regularly through the night. It also did not help with my muscle pains. I've been using it for 3 weeks now. It also hasn't really helped with loosening my tight back muscles either. I can vouch for the relaxation part, however. I lay on it for 20-30 mins with music playing and I feel at peace. I collect my thoughts and feel very calm.

I went through the Bed of Nails website and found that they don't actually claim it does anything. They throw around the word 'may' everywhere. Like a lot of Western medicine it's really up to the person to make up there own mind. Do magnets for pain relief actually work? I don't think so, but there are proponents out there for that too. At this point I would just caution the buyer.

The Bed of Nails has literally changed my life. A bi-daily routine for me, standing on the bed in the morning awakens me and gives me a sense of calm relaxation and a jolt of energy to start my day. At night, the bed soothes my sore muscles, erasing any sense of tension, and lulls me into a deep sleep. After many years of doing chiropractic, massage, acupuncture and yoga to counteract a neck injury sustained in a car accident, the bed has absolutely blown my mind with the benefits over the long term and far surpassed all other remedies and practices. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving. The Bed of Nails pillow, which I just started using, is my instant happiness delivering a rush of endorphins surging through my body, it always puts a smile on my face. The sense of well being and endorphin high is so appealing there should be a warning label!

I would recommend the Bed of Nails to anyone looking for a deeper state of relation, to alleviate chronic tension and especially for those with sleep problems. It is truly a wonder how effective and transformative the Bed of Nails is and I'm not sure how I lived 30 years without it. I've shared and gifted the Bed of Nails to at least a dozen friends and am still amazed by the health benefits. It is without doubt the best purchase I've made in as long as I can remember.

Saw this on lightning deals, and thought it would be worth a try since it had primarily positive reviews. Not only did I get NO results from the mat, it can't be returned because it's considered a personal health item. The non-returnable part never occurred to me, but I will be more careful in the future. The mat sounded too good to be true in the reviews, and that should have been a clue.

I was given the bed of nails as a gift. I stand alot for my job and I am overweight so I frequently had lower back pain. I had no idea what to expect from the bed of nails and when I first lay on it topless it was quite painful. I then put on a t-shirt and laid on the mat and found it to be pleasant. I used it for a week or two every night with a t-shirt on and as I got used to it I lifted my shirt bit by bit until I didn't need the shirt any more. Now, it doesn't hurt and it relaxes me. The list of ailments the bed of nails is said to cure is extensive and I was hoping it would make me sleep better, but it didn't. It relaxes me and has even helped me fall asleep but I still wake up and I have scratched my fingers on the plastic nails while adjusting the mat. However, I don't get back pains anymore. I didn't even notice at first. Then it dawned on me that I hadn't been bothered by my back in days (weeks now). I use it as I lay on bed every night and I feel more relaxed in general and my back feels fabulous. I think you may have to use it a few weeks before you notice the difference, but once you do you will love it. If it hurts use a t-shirt until you grow accustomed to it. I highly recommend.

I was a bit skeptical, but the reviews were great so I went ahead and bought this. I'm so glad I did. The more I use it, the more I like it. Within a few minutes of laying on it, it's as though I can literally feel my circulation improving. Often times, when I stand up, I feel like I do after receiving a massage. My husband who is much larger than me does not like it and says it hurts too much to stand. Works for me though! I highly recommend giving it a try. I bought the pillow too and it's a nice set. The only thing I woud love to see is a carry case / storage case for it.

I have gotten down in the dumps around November every year. This year it got bad enough that I finally decided to buy a light box. What can I say, it works! I use it in the morning for 30 minutes while I check emails. If I have time I use it in the evening when I get home from work for another 30 minutes. The only cons I can think of is that the ionizer thing smells bad. Sort of a strong plastic smell. I have been using the light box for around a month. I feel very good. I am not down in the dumps at all. I highly recommend this if you have seasonal effective disorder like I do. I would have bought this years ago had I known it would actually work.

I looked at a few different sun lamps on Amazon and ended up with this one because the price was discounted. The company's website did not have as many detailed specs as I wanted to see before buying the product, so I called customer service. To receive 10,000 lux, you have to sit at least as close as 15 inches. The manual says with the ionizer on, you can sit as far as 20 inches (I'm not sure I believe that I think it's just recommended for a "treatment session", not for the 10,000 lux). Also, the lights should be good for about 3 years (there are 4 in the lamp), and it's currently $60 to replace all 4.

As for the ionizer, I wasn't looking for anything like this feature, and I was skeptical about it at first. However, I have since learned that it is a great plus to the light itself; it's like having fresh air blowing at you. With the ionizer and the lamp on, I almost feel like I'm sitting outside on a sunny day.

Shipping was prompt, customer service was OK (they did take a day to call me back even during business hoursbut they were nice and answered all my questions), and I'm very happy about the lamp. I'm not a morning person, but I find myself actually looking forward to going to work in the morning just so I can sit next to the lamp. I wasn't convinced when I bought the lamp that light therapy would actually counter my winter depression, but I'm a believer now. This lamp has certainly worked well for me.

I moved from Virginia to Iowa in '06 and experienced SAD during my first winter here. It wasn't something that I recognized right away and by the time spring came, I was 30lbs heavier and suffering from moderate depression. I am writing as an electronics techie. I smelled something suspicious as soon as I turned on the ionizer in this product, and in five minutes I started coughing, quite sure this was ozone. So I borrowed an ion meter and and ozone meter to test it out. Ion output? Zero! Ozone output? 0.209 parts per million within 10-15 minutes. I checked the Web for ozone health standards (). Devices that produce ozone, it says, can decrease lung function, aggravate asthma, and cause throat irritation and cough, chest pain and shortness of breath, inflammation of lung tissue, and higher susceptibility to lung infection. The risk of course depends on the amount of ozone. The Environmental Protection Agency states the risk level at 0.08 parts per million, the Food and Drug Administration states it at 0.05 parts per million, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health state it at 0.10 parts per million. NIOSH goes further by saying this level is "not to be exceeded at any time." So, what about 0.266 parts per million from the SunTouch Plus? I have to conclude that this product is defective and dangerous, and cannot be used to obtain an ion effect.

An additional observation, 11/2/11: The company has now put a so-called "Educational Kit" on its website, which deserves critical review, because of several inaccuracies and deceptions. One case in point: they reprint a graph on page 7 from the American Journal of Psychiatry, without crediting the authors or posting a reprint permission statement from the Journal. They imply that their device would produce results as good or better than Prozac -a medical claim for a device without FDA approval! Looking at this article (Amer. J. Psychiatry 2006, volume 163, pages 805-812), one finds that the study used a substantially different light therapy device: "The active light treatment consisted of daily exposure to a white fluorescent light box (Uplift Technologies Inc. [Dartmouth,N.S.], Model Daylight 10000, fitted with an ultraviolet filter and rated at 10,000 lux at a distance of 14 in from screen to cornea) for 30 minutes as soon as possible after awakening, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m." According Uplift's specifications, this device produces illumination at 4000 Kelvin color temperature (a slightly pinkish, white hue), and directs the light downward toward the eyes through a translucent diffusing filter. According to Nature Bright's specifications, their device produces 16,668 Kelvin color temperature (a cold blue hue), and the light is directed straightforward and upwards toward the eyes without a diffusion filter. The obvious result -as I have experienced -is intense visual glare. Certainly one cannot assume that the two devices would produce the same results, whether or not compared with Prozac.

I purchased two of these today from a local beauty supply. I already had two in my drawer, which I had forgotten about and started using again. My hair is very long---past waist---and is pretty thick. This cap is in the extra-large category because my hair is always nice in the morning after sleeping. I had purchased some other caps which basically were of extremely poor quality. They felt more like brushed cotton than satin.

I bought this for a friend and it makes a great gift. It works perfectly -no light gets in. The added gel pads are a nice compliment to soothe the tired eyes. Also on the back of the mask, the straps are adjustable, so it will fit any shape or size and also can be adjusted for personal comfort level depending on how tight you'd like the mask. There are soft pads by the nose area to prevent light from getting in -a lot of masks don't feature that and light can still get on from the bridge of the nose. This mask makes it easy to sleep.

This mask is the best one that I have tried, it fits well around your nose to block out the light. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the outer decorative material that does not touch your eyes is rough and not smooth at all, I would suggest that they use a better cotton blend at least to soften this and the trim around it so it is a smooth comfy product all the way around. Other than that it does what it is meant to do and helps me sleep by blocking out the light. I also really like that it has the 2 adjustable straps in the back instead of just 1 elastic band or something, it really helps the product stay on your face all night, I move around a lot so that makes a huge differnece.

I've been using this for the last 4 months and I absolutely love it. It was replacing a cheapy TJ Maxx brand which I thought was great until this one. I was skeptical of the two thin straps vs the single strap I had, but it is way more comfortable and stays on during restless nights. I ran it thru the wash and it's still intact.

It also has some strange foam bumpers below the eyes. I assume it's for the cool pack but I don't even notice it now. I do not use the cool pack so I can't help you in that dept.

I will say that this sleep mask, or any for that matter will spoil you as far as creating the cave effect... When I'm not using it, I will wake up if there is any light. Use at own risk!!!

Pink aero Pediatric Dragon Mask

Picture looks blue, but it is indeed a purple-ish pink. Cute mask that makes the whole process much less anxiety prone. The material the mask is made out of is incredibly think and not as sturdy as other masks used. Be careful when you are cleaning it not to put in the dishwasher -it is too flimsy to handle the high heat even on the top rack.

I don't know if they just have multiple colors and they just throw one in a box and ship it, but to me the dragon looks blue in the picture. its definitely pink and purple. i got it for my son, he's only a year old so the color doesn't affect him at all.

This is an adorable mask for a great price that works great! The plastic details on the face of the dragon is pink and the elastic band is purple. My 5 year old loves it! I never thought to come to Amazon for this stuff, but I'm looking now because I've just learned it's been discontinued. I don't know what I'm going to do. It works for me. I've used it for years. I don't use three sprays as the directions say, just a 'little' bit of a spritz, just enough to get a drop in the back of my throat, is all it takes. A tiny amount as long as it hits the right spot, and not wasted on your cheek or tongue. So a bottle lasts me maybe 6 months. I did discover the hard way that you want to take a breath and close your throat so you don't inhale it.

I have recently started using CPAP and had problems with the seal failing after several hours due (I think) to sweating under the silicone rubber. I was a little skeptical when my tech gave me a sample, but it worked perfectly. I did notice I had to adjust the straps tighter; at the setting I had, the mask leaked immediately with the remzzzs "installed". But I only had to tighten it a little not so much that it was uncomfortable. Seal stayed complete all night. I've since tried cutting my own from paper towel; that works too but it is a pain having to do that every night (or set up an assembly line) and the paper isn't as soft as the cotton. Haven't tried washing them yet as another reviewer has. They're expensive from the standpoint that a months supply is pretty much just a plain XL tee-shirt's worth of cotton cut differently, but they're not that expensive, so for now I'm buying them the mask is almost useless without them!

I got these mainly so that I can use lotion on my face at night without destroying the mask cushion. They seem to work well enough for that function, so I keep ordering them. Sometimes they seem to help with leaks, sometimes not. At the very least, the fabric makes the feel of the leaking air less annoying, which is good.

I got these to use with with Quattro full-face mask, extra small. The small liners are made to fit more than one size of Quattro, but I wish the sizing were more exact. I usually trim them to keep them from tickling my eyes. Every once in a while, I just can't get the liner settled correctly, and I'll lose it during the night. I think a liner sized exactly for my mask size would work better, but I can see why the company doesn't want to make a special size for every single mask type/size permutation.

I use one liner for two nights in a row, if I can keep track of which side has been against my skin. The packaging says that the fabric has special properties that make it absorbent and that it will lose those properties if you wash it. True? Who knows? I haven't found more information.

The easiest way to use these (yes, this may be too obvious to bother writing, but it took me some time to work it out at bedtime when I was sleepy) is to unhook the mask from the hose (I like to run the machine for a few minutes before I use it); follow the instructions in the packaging to arrange the liner on the cushion, bend over, and put your face on the mask/liner before straightening up (holding the mask in place); fasten the straps; and then attach the hose. If you try to put on the lined mask while air is blowing through the mask, the liner will just fly all over.

I read reviews of many products before deciding on RemZzzs CPAP Mask Liners. I was doubtful but I needed something because my CPAP full face mask kept slipping during the night and I would wake up to a painful nose in the morning. The pressure bruise would last most of the day. The nasal mask was an option for a few days, however I have allergies that prevent me from using the nasal mask every night. So I picked this, the price was okay for try, a bit pricey but I needed relief. I just could not see how a cloth liner would help a seal, I thought it would hinder the sealing process.

Color me surprised the first night, my husband did not have to wake me multiple times to tell me my mask was leaking, I did not have to readjust, and I slept through the night! I did not have a angry red mark on my nose in the morning. The second night I even forgot I had my CPAP mask on, I was sleeping so good. Yes, I would recommend this product to whomever is having issues with their full face mask slipping and leaking though the night. It does what it says it will and can be used more than one night, depending on how oily and/or sweaty you get.

I was a bit confused on the sizes and the above chart located at healthykin.com was helpful. I am 5'4" and I am very happy with the small (not travel). I have used the pillow for a week so far and I sleep better. The pain in my arm from the hotel pillows is slowly subsiding. The notch for my shoulder is making for a more comfortable position. The height is just right. I like that it has breather indents on both sides as I turn during the night.

Yes the pillow stinks a bit at first and the smell goes away in a few days. I have been sleeping on a memory foam pillow. This memory foam is so much better. I bought dozens of pillows over the years. I think this one will be a keeper. I highly recommend the sleepright side memory foam pillow. Check the chart so you get the right size for you.

I bought this item because I was tired of waking up with a stiff neck and even stiffer jaw. I am a die hard side sleeper and have purchased other items in the past, but I finally bit the bullet and spent some hard earned cash on this item...and I couldn't be happier! I am 5' tall so I was able to do just fine with this travel sized pillow. Watch those sizes, there are 2 different sizes for different heights, plus their travel-sized equivalents. On to the review:

I found the item quite dense initially, but it may be because I am new to memory foam. I actually threw the entire pillow and its case into a standard sized pillowcase just to keep clean. I went to bed and immediately understood how this works. The density is key. My shoulder has room to rest without creeping up to my head, but at the same time, my head has breathing space without squishing my face. And my neck is at a perfect height allowing my jaw to relax with perfect support due to that lip on the edge. I barely moved all night I was so comfortable. I woke up and had absolutely no stiffness in my neck, my face had no crease, my jaw was pain free, and I felt great! I don't care how much this thing is now. I hope they never stop making it because I am taking it with me everywhere!

I love this pillow! I am by preference a stomach sleeper, but since that is not good for my neck, I have been trying to change to sleeping on my side. This pillow has made a huge difference. I find that I tend to stay in one position for much longer and seem to sleep better as well. This pillow together with an air mattress are making my sleep more restful. I would suggest adding a protective cover of some type to keep perspiration from reaching the foam since it cannot be washed. The zippered cover is a removable terry cloth like material which is washable. It's worth the purchase price in my opinion.

SleepRight Side Sleeping Memory Foam Pillow is the best!!!

The travel size is great for people who travel alot or are small of stature. The larger sizes would be right for larger people.

I was afraid it would be hot, like most foam products are, but this comes with a sheepskin cover that alleviates that.

I hope this never wears out, cause I don't ever want another pillow. ;o)

This lotion is absolutely amazing. As I put it on before bed I could feel all of my muscles relaxing and stress just melting away. Too bad Bath & Body Works can't seem to keep anything I fall in love with for more than a few months & I can't afford $76 for a $10-$12 bottle of lotion.

This is a nice smelling product that is one of the rare Bath & Body Works scents that isn't fruity or floral. Plus I dig the industrial look and color of it. Melatonin - 3mg 120 tab (previously 60 tab) ( Multi-Pack)

This is the only brand that works for me. Schiff also makes "Melatonin ULTRA." It is also good, however, it contains several extra ingredients like valerian root. I prefer to keep my valerian separate so I can choose whether I need to take that or not in addition to the melatonin (valerian provides for even deeper sleep, which can be good but it also leaves me a bit groggy the next day at times. Also valerian sometimes causes rather strange dreams which can ultimately be more disruptive to my sleep than not taking the valerian at all). Your results may vary, but for me there is no other melatonin product out there worthwhile.

I have been taking Melatonin as needed for 10 yrs. This product, by far, is so much better than the kind that you buy at your local grocery/drug store.

so many unnecessary additives added to it to get government subsidy. tastes really bad and did not help me with sleep, caused me fever and nausea, and i threw up the entire night from taking this product. NOT recommended for normal people, pregnant women, and children. can be dangerous because of all the new ingredients added to it. the worst experience i had with melatonin ever. it saddens me how a over the counter drug can be mutated this way for higher profit in the expense of customer's health.

The first step is cleansing, and this facewash feels great. It's got a great, gently exfoliating texture and hardly any scent at all. This is something I really appreciate. It leaves my face feeling fresh and soft. It doesn't do any heavy-duty exfoliation, but it definitely gets the job done. There is a lot of product in this tube as well, I feel like it will last me until my next automatic delivery.

Second would be eye cream. I also really like the texture of this cream and it doesn't make the skin around my eyes burn. I don't have sensitive skin, but tons of other products irritate my eyes like nobody's business.

The two face lotions are great as well, very little scent and a light texture. They are heavy enough to moisturize everything and I stay hydrated all day.

All in all I'm quite pleased with this set. I have used it 4 weeks now and I see a noticeable difference in my skins evenness and texture. I feel great not having any makeup on at all!

I've been looking for a new facial product ever since the Nivea Q10 products stopped being sold in the U.S.A. and I've finally found something! This Aveeno anti-aging system is really good! My skin felt better in less than a week! My skin is smoother and stays uniformly moisturized all day. It's not greasy or heavy and doesn't run into my eyes with the slightest exercise. The cleanser isn't abrasive or irritating and I like having a day moisturizer that has sunscreen and a night cream that does not. Mediflow Anti-Allergen Pillow Protector

so I don't have bed bugs but I do have allergies. I still have to change my pillow case every other day but I don't have to wash my pillow every week. Just the cover. I find that helpful.

It's not crinkly like some covers are...where you can hear them or feel them under the pillow case. I really can't even tell which pillow it's on (I have two identical pillows from when I had to wash my pillow ever week to keep my allergies down) when I have pillow cases on both there's no difference in the feel between the one with the cover on it and the one without. The zipper isn't even noticeable!

So the sensitive head can buy this and feel confident that their dreams won't be troubled with crunchy uncomfortable pillow protectors. Rest assured.

This is not a very high quality cover. It's kind of starchy, and the zipper feels very thin and like it will break very easily. I'm not sure it's worth the money. The ones they sell in BBB are much higher quality.
